Once Poppy got out of the bunker, she went towards the place she usually announces important things. She got out her microphone and pretended to be mad.

"Attention all Trolls! I still haven't found the giver, and I know for sure that today will be the day." Poppy then realized that she didn't set up the alarms like she did last year and widened her eyes. 'Trolly Molly, the alarms!' She said in her mind.

Smidge got up by her and had her serious face on, kinda like last year. "Hey Poppy, do you have the thank you card?"

Poppy widened her eyes again. 'Great, what am I going to do now?!'

"Poppy? Poppyyy? POPPY!!!" Smidge yelled. Once Poppy snapped out of her thinking, she looked at Smidge.

"Do you have the thank you card?" Smidge asked again.

"U-um....." the Trolls that were in front of her started to get confused. Poppy then suddenly had an idea.

"Uhh....th-this time.....I'm going to be giving a huge thank you hug to the giver!" She said as everyone else then nodded and smiled. Poppy sighed in relief.

"Ohhh....are you also going to say thank you?" Keith asked.

"Why of course!" Poppy suddenly saw Branch standing in the crowd of Trolls and smiled. "Now, I am on my way to...try and find the giver, thank you for coming" Poppy noticed everyone nodding and starting to leave except Branch. She went over towards him.

"I hope no one noticed anything suspicious" Poppy frowned a little.

"Don't worry, I don't think so" Branch smiled at her as she smiled back. "Are you going to get the sunglasses?"

"Yup! Hopefully Satin isn't sick this time" they both giggled a little. Poppy was surprised that Smidge left, although she noticed Smidge was gone until she looked up.

"Hm, I wonder where Smidge went..." she suddenly saw Smidge running up to her with frosting all over her face.

"Well, good luck, Poppy!" Branch said trying to sound as normal as possible as he started to leave.

"Thanks, Branch!" Poppy said back to him.

"Alright, where should we start looking first?"

"Let's just walk around the village and see if we can find anything, shall we?" Smidge nodded in agreement as they started walking.

The more they walked, the more Poppy started to worry if she or Branch would get caught. What if Smidge knew about this and then would get mad at her for lying to her, saying to her that Branch wasn't the giver? What if she didn't want to be her friend anymore? What if the same happens to everyone? Poppy shuddered at the thought and started sweating.

"Poppy? You alright?" Smidge said in a worried tone. Poppy snapped outs of her thoughts.

"Wha? Huh? Oh, Smidge, um, don't worry I'm just....hungry, y-yeah, my stomach would loooove some food!" Poppy laughed it off.

Smidge looked at her oddly. "Uhh Poppy, are you okay? You've been acting kinda weir-"

"Of course I'm okay! I...I just n-need something to eat, that's all....heh...."

"....okay then...what do you want to eat?"

"Uhh, whatever you want!"

Smidge gasped. "Really?" She made puppy eyes as Poppy giggled and nodded. Smidge then ran over to where the foods were as Poppy went behind her and smiled once Smidge started ordering her food.

Meanwhile, Branch was in his bunker finishing wrapping a present, he was frustrated because he didn't know how to cover a spot of the present that could easily be seen.

"Ugh, Gary do you know how this works?"

Gary stood still, but to Branch he just nodded sadly. Branch sighed.

"If only Poppy would be here to teach me, she really knows how to do these things." He put the present he was working with aside and started wrapping another present while Gary sat on his personal cushion Branch made for him.

He then saw Poppy's present (that wasn't wrapped yet) and took the opportunity to wrap it while Poppy was outside. He smiled and wrapped the present delicately so that it would be the neatest one just for her.

Once he was done, he hid it in his closet so that Poppy wouldn't notice. Immediately after that he heard knocking on his mat. "Hopefully it's Poppy.." he muttered as he went up the elevator. Once he opened the mat a hand used the bottom of the map to open it even more and the Troll jumped in, accidentally tackling Branch.
