Everyone is quiet as they turn their heads to see Taiyang holding a baby.

Tai: What should we do with him...?

Raven: I can give him to some of the members of the tribe.

Qrow: I don't think that's a good idea Raven.

Summer: Maybe we can take him with us.

Tai: Are you sure... That means we're going to have to take care of three children now that you two are pregnant.

Summer: It's fine Tai, we can handle it.

Tai: Alright then... We'll keep him.

Qrow: What about the lady that was carrying her?

Tai: Leave her, she's already dead.

With that they walked away and took the baby with them. As they do... The baby opens his green eyes to look at the sunny sky beam down on him.

That was 6 years ago... That little baby was now 6 years olds, his name was Y/n. He had short silver hair with dull green eyes. Before they were beautiful turquoise color but now it wasn't... Why? It's because of all the abuse he's been in. Now who was the one that was abusing him? Criminals, bandits...? Nah the one's that were abusing him was everyone in STRQ. Not only that but his 'younger sisters' were doing it too! The reason behind them abusing is unknown... But they were having a good time doing so.

Young Y/n

Y/n never said a word and will get beaten to a bloody pulp. At first it did hurt but after a few years, it didn't hurt him anymore. Though it still hurts that they keep calling him useless and saying mean things about him. They don't allow him to have fun with kids outside, nor let him do anything. They force him to cook, clean and make him stay in this room that has just a blanket and a window. Y/n walked towards the window to look outside to see Ruby and Yang playing with the weapons that Qrow gave them. Y/n sighs to himself.

Y/n: I wish... I can play with them.. But mom, dad and the others will hurt me if I ask..

Hearing footsteps rapidly approach the young child's room, Y/n closed his eyes. The door was kicked open revealing 'Loving' mother, Summer Rose. Summer grabbed his arm to drag him out the room and pushed him off the stairs. 

Thump!

Thump!

Thump!

Thump!

The sound of Y/n's body crashing on the stairs can be heard as he then hit the floor spitting out blood.

Y/n: Grk!

Summer: Get up you piece of shit! 

Y/n slowly gets up from the ground only to get kicked in the face by Raven.

Raven: She said get up!

Y/n tried to get up again but was grabbed by the neck by Tai. The golden haired man had a sinister look on his face.

Tai: Hmph pathetic, a weak little shit like you doesn't deserve to be living with us.

He kicked Y/n's gut making the boy spit out saliva.

Tai: C'mon scream! Whine and beg for me to stop!

As he continues beat the child, Y/n hears laughter from two little gremlins. Qrow was also there leaning on the wall watching too. Ruby and Yang cheered on their Tai to continue beating him. Y/n didn't say anything nor give any emotion. Tai noticed as he suddenly dropped him on the ground.

Tai: Looks like I'm going to be taking the next step, eh tough guy?

He then grabbed Summer's Scythe. Summer and Raven widen eyed.

Raven: Wait Tai, that's too muc-

He didn't listen as he impaled Y/n and threw him at the wall which left the boy hanging. Blood slowly tainted his entire body. Everyone widen eyed including Tai. The boy slowly looked down and then went unconscious which everyone presumed that he died.

Summer: Tai!

Summer ran over to the 'lifeless' Y/n and took out the Scythe. He drop down on the floor with a plop sound. Summer grabbed her "son's" body. The boy spat out more blood.

Summer: Y/n dear, speak to me!

Both Summer and Raven went to Y/n's side. 

Raven: He's losing a lot of blood, we have to get him to the hospital, now!

Yang: Y.../N?

Ruby: Bro...ther?

Summer: Come on let's get the doctor.

Everyone rushes out of the house leaving the impaled boy by himself. What they don't notice was that Y/n was still moving. He slowly stands up from the floor and pulls his shirt up. The hole in his stomach was slowly but surely getting smaller.

Y/n: I need... To go leave this place.... Before they come back.

He walks towards the front door, he opens it and hurries out the Rose house. He then starts running out of the area. 

After running for about 35 minutes, Y/n finally stops to catch his breath. His whole body was extremely tired and he was hungry. He drops down on the floor as his stomach continues to grumble.

Y/n: So... Hungry.

Somewhere else....

There was a mother with bunny ears and a little girl with bunny ears walking together to buy lunch. Both had matching brown hair and brown eyes. The young faunus girl was hopping on the cement ground.

Young Velvet

Velvet: C'mon mum, let's go before they close!

Mrs. Scarlatina: Now now velvet, you have to calm down. They close in 45 minutes.

Velvet: Not when you're walking so slow, c'mon hurry!

Mrs. Scarlatina sighs as she walks a little faster but as soon as she does, something catches the bunny mother's attention. It was a boy with short silver hair, his short was torn and bloody and look like someone stabbed him.

Mrs. Scarlatina: Oh my Oum, that boy is hurt!

The worried mother and the young Velvet run over to the child.

???: So... Hungry... Need food.

Velvet: Mom, he's hungry!

Mrs. Scarlatina picks him up.

Mrs. Scarlatina: Come on Velvet, we need to get him healed up and well fed immediately!

She carries the boy over her shoulders as they run the opposite direction.

About 1 hour later....

Y/n opened his eyes to see that he was in a room, it wasn't his normal room with just a blanket. It was a room with a bed, pillow, and with good sheets too.

Y/n: Is this a dream...Am I back?

He looks around the room and notices someone sleeping near him. It was a young girl with bunny ears sleeping on a chair while her head was on the bed.

Y/n: Hm..?

Y/n slowly lifted his hand and moved it towards the ears. He then touches it and caresses it, feeling the faunus's ear. The girl's eye opened to see the young Y/n touching it, she smacked his hand away and backed away from him.

Velvet: Hey didn't anyone tell not to touch people!

Y/n: No... I'm sorry, you looked so peaceful and I really liked your bunny ears.

The room door opens to reveal a female with bunny ears coming in with plate of food.

Mrs. Scarlatina: Ah good, you're awake and I see you already met Velvet.

Y/n: Velvet...?

Velvet: Yup, that's me! Names Velvet Scarlatina, what's your name?

Y/n: My... Name is Y/n... Just Y/n.

Velvet: You don't have a last name?

He shook his head.

Y/n: They never gave me a last name.

Mrs. Scarlatina: They...?

Y/n: The one's you call family.. They never gave me a last name nor ever cared to give me one.

Mrs. Scarlatina: Oh dear, were you neglected by you're parents?

Y/n: No... I was mostly abused by them and everyone that was a part of their family. I'm not even sure if I was actually born from the same mother since I look nothing like them.

Mrs. Scarlatina: Oh you poor child, going through such a life with all that pain and misery.

Y/n: I'm used to it... I heal pretty quick but before... My father impaled me with mother's scythe.

The two faunuses widen eye.

Velvet: Y-You're Papa did W-What?

Mrs. Scarlatina: I-Impaled... That means you should be d-dead by now!?

Y/n: I know... I should've been dead a long time ago. But my skin keeps healing itself.

Hearing those words made both the mother and daughter Faunus feel bad for the poor boy. The mother places the plate of food down next to the boy.

Mrs. Scarlatina: Here eat, you were starving earlier.

The boy grabbed the plate and started stuffing his face. This made the two realized that he hasn't eaten anything in a while.

Velvet: Y/n... How about you stay with us!

Y/n stopped eating to looked at her.

Y/n: Stay... With you?

Mrs. Scarlatina: That's a very good idea, Velvet. I was about to send you back to you're parents but after hearing that, I don't want to anymore. And I don't want to send you to an adoption center where you can be taken by worse people.

Y/n: Are you really sure about this... Mrs....

Mrs. Scarlatina: Just call me mom, dear and yes I am sure.

Y/n: Okay Mrs... I mean mom.

He then bows to her.

Y/n: I am now in your care, I am humbly thankful.

Velvet cheered as Mrs. Scarlatina walked over to him and gave him a hug.

Mrs. Scarlatina: Don't worry, I won't treat you like them.

Y/n hugged back.

Y/n: I.... Understand.
