"what? what do i do? how do we stop this?" i wish i knew, i wish i knew. "get on tv, you can do that right?" please tell me he can, he is the king after all. oh my gods what if can't? what will do then? "yes i can, but would do i tell them?" well if we tell them dangers coming then they'll go into a panic, but if we don't then they won't listen to us. fuck fuck fuck!

"tell people to stay inside their houses, to cover all the cracks in their houses. all windows and door must remain close, cover their faces with anything they can. if they go outside tell them to not breath in the air. if the black smoke infects them, they will get possessed. it will control them and they'll do things against their will. go, tell the guards to give people masks, gas masks, anything that will protect their faces. go princey! go, i'll go get the others. hurry!" i pushed him to start moving, we don't know how long it'll take for the black cloud/smoke to get to auradon. we can't waste anytime whatsoever.

"i'm on it, just be careful please." don't worry about me you fool. "you too, please."

i called evie, audrey, jay and carlos. none of them answered their phones, my last resort was to call mal. she thankfully did answer the phone, i just hoped the others were with her. "what?" she asked in a tone that came off a bit rude if i'm being honest. that didn't matter though, it's not the time for this val.

"it's coming, the cloud smoke thing. the mist if you will, but it's coming. i saw it leaving the isle, so did princey. we have to tell the others, we're all at risk. we have to warn everyone." i heard her moving and whatnot before she said something. "shit, holy fuck okay. did you tell ben what to do?" did i tell ben, of course i fucking did. "yes, he's going to make calls and get on tv. look tell the others to meet at your place, to help anyone they see." "okay, i'll see you here." with that we hung up.

i ran to the locker rooms, the guys locker room obviously, and grabbed every towel that was in sight. thankfully there were only clean ones. i stuffed my bag with towels and carried as many as possible. i left some here in case anyone came here for shelter. i ran out and looked around for anyone that was outside. jane and lonnie were the first i saw.

"val what's going on? ben just called about having to stay inside and whatnot." jane asked, i handed them towels and they looked at me confused. "cover your mouths and nose, go to your rooms and stay inside. cover the bottom of the doors, the windows, anything that might let air in. if you see something that looks like a black cloud, call us immediately. please just do as i say." they didn't even question me and did as told. hopefully everyone will be as cooperative as them. "tell those you see to do the same, go to the girls locker room and take as many towels you can. anything that will cover ones face will work." they nodded and ran off.

i went into the school and looked inside the classrooms. most were empty, except for a few teachers in certain ones. i didn't have time to explain what was happening to every single one of them so i just walked in, tossed them a towel and said 'watch the news.' before using a towel to cover the open space at the bottom of the door. many classrooms had their tv's on so they already knew what i was talking about.

i was running out of towels so i went to my locker to see if i might have something that could help. sadly i didn't. i quickly stuffed my bag inside and checked my phone. mal texted and said the girls side of the dormitory's were all cleared, that jay and carlos were finishing up the guys side and that evie was making sure the kids were alright.

as i made sure the classrooms were either cleared or that the teachers inside them were safe, i called audrey. she didn't answer to my text and now she wasn't answering my calls. i texted princey asking if he's seen audrey, he said no but that gil was with him. i also told him to meet me and others back in the girls dorm.

by the time i got to the girls dorm everyone was already there. they were worried, mal was passing back and forth and princey was on his phone yelling at gods know who. i checked my phone and still no answer from audrey. i wanted to throw myself on a bed but i couldn't, we have to find a way to get rid of this thing.

"guys, i just got a call from my dad. maleficent's scepter was taken from the museum." are you kidding me?! whoever took it must have already been possessed by the cloud of evil. "we have to go there, who knows what else might get stolen..." we all looked at mal like she was crazy, but even i knew she had a point. "i agree, we must go immediately. everyone cover your face and run." evie tossed everyone scarfs and princey helped them tie them.

"go go go, don't stop." mal opened the door and we all ran out. was this stupid? yes. why? because we don't know exactly how to stop this, the books said nothing about how to put it down. and now it took someone and had maleficent's scepter. they're powerful as fuck now, and all we have is mal's spell book to defend ourselves.

when we got to the museum we found a ton of guards on the floor unconscious. princey went to check for a pulse, though they didn't seem dead. i've seen a dead body, and they look nothing like it. "they're alive, i think they're sleeping though." sleeping? but what could've put them to sleep? we ran inside, maleficent's spinning wheel was the first thing we saw. none of us touched it though, like we weren't attracted to it. so that means neither were the guards, something else must've put them to sleep.

"guys in here." we followed evie to a separate room. in there, glass was shattered on the ground, and half the lights were out. "the queens crown, it's not here anyone." we looked at princey then at the middle of the room where i take it the crown was. who would want the crown though? i walked around to see what i could find, see what else was stolen. the next room over had a basket on the ground with apples near it, then jafars stick with a cobra on it. it's a staff too right?

"val!" i ran back to the room, but everyone was gone... "val!" i ran out of the building and saw everyone outside. i got closer to see what they were looking at, from what i can see there's someone with long pink hair. as i got closer i was able to recognize the person. it was... audrey? she had maleficent's scepter, the queens crown and her eyes were all black. i love this new look, the hair and the clothes, but now is not the time to compliment it.

"audrey..." i tried to get closer to her but princey held me back. this is my fault, this is my fucking fault! i should've gone looking for her before practice, but i didn't because i'm a fucking idiot. then her head twitched, and her eyes were back to normal! does this mean she's still in there?

"val, val please help me! i don't like this, i'm scared. please help me!" yes she's still in there! "yes, audrey keep fighting it. don't let it get to inside your head, resist. fight back. i promise i will help you, just keep fighting." her head twitched again and her eyes went back to looking like demon eyes. oh no, oh no no.

"too late, i'm already inside sucker. you know i didn't think it was going to be this easy, i thought i would have to fight for a vessel. i didn't have to though, i saw her and i could see the weak and pathetic energy she transmitted. after all that's what i do best, i take advantage of the weak and pathetic creatures. just like mommy dearest, remember that mally? well this was a nice chat, but i must go now. have fun chasing me, you won't succeed. tootles!" she slammed the staff to the ground and vanished.

"why? why why why why why? why?" i don't exactly know why i'm saying why so many times, but it's okay. "why do the gods create things, and when they don't work out they dump it on all of humanity? well zeus, i don't care if this your creation or not. come down here and fix it! you're the reason why bad things happen most of the time, so come down and fix this!" i don't know why i'm blaming him specifically, but that's okay because i'm mostly blaming myself here.

"val calm down, he might strike you with lighting. he might not be listening but you never know..." it was clear that princey was trying to calm me down, and i appreciate him for that. i just can't relax or calm down right now. i mean after all, my best friend got possessed by a fucking demonic mist! "i just.. ugh! we have no idea how to save audrey, and now we don't know how to take down maleficent's scepter. how the fuck are we suppose to save anyone from what maleficent's scepter night do? true loves kiss? i don't think so!" yeah i seriously need to calm down.

"well we do know how to take maleficent's scepter down, we just need hades ember." oh princey you make it sound so easy. "yeah and how are we suppose to get the ember of a hermit god?!" i basically snapped at princey, i didn't mean to and hopefully he knows that. "you need to get to his hideout? i'm the irl for the job, after all i did work for him." i'm not going crazy right? "am i crazy, or did i just hear celia's voice?" i slowly turned around and much to my surprise there she was! with dizzy right next to her. oh my gods.

"what are you doing here? i told you two to stay in the room!" evie snapped at them, one of us had to. "you are putting yourself in so much danger, i am disappointed in both of you." okay evie you're crossing over to mother scolding territory. "yes, but if we didn't sneak out you wouldn't know how to get hades." oh my god are we really going to trust these two?

"well then, celia and i will go over to the isle and get the ember. you lot will stay here and plan something or whatever." mal put and arm over celia and gave us an awkward thumbs up. okay... "vals going with you." i'm what now? "why would he go with us?" who even said i want to go? "because i said so." excuse me? i pulled him to the side, where no one could hear us please.

"i'm not going, i have no reason to go with them." i really don't. "he's your father, i think you should see him at least once in your life." is he being fucking serious right now? "no, i'm not going." "yes you are." "says who?" he pulled me closer and whispered into my ear, "says your king, and you'll do as i say." okay that's not fair, that's like super fucking hot. i swallowed my pride and smiled, a fake one of course. "yes your highness." he let go of me, and as i walked back towards the others he decided to slap my ass. if we weren't in the middle of a crisis right now, i would literally throw myself at him.

"i'm going i guess." i really don't want to, it's not like hades will even recognize me. he had me for a day and then abandoned me. i really don't see the point of this. "okay then, let's go before things get worse." i'm really doing this aren't i? i'm going to meet the man that made me, how wonderful...
