Two utterly uneventful days have passed and I've officially made up my mind on two counts.

One, I hate these gowns with a burning passion. They make it impossible to move around comfortably. When I finally had a chance to sneak out for a walk in the gardens, I'd tripped and made a fool of myself. I have to do something about acquiring a decent pair of pants, even if they are considered men's attire.

Two, John has woken up a few more times in these two days and remained conscious longer each time. He, unfortunately, mentioned marriage this last time. I know he and Mina are supposed to marry here, but I'm not Mina and honestly, John ain't my type. Sorry Mina, but you'll just have to marry him whenever you get your body back. I'm already changing this novel anyway, so why stop at simply reading the journal? I've decided that I will save Lucy from Dracula!
