I parked my bicycle on the stands and looked around the parking lot to spot Mason or Ally but instead I saw Carter and Haley standing opposite me. She was all over him, if it was up to her she would literally stand on. Carter was wearing a light green shirt as he smiled at something Haley said.

Suddenly his eyes flickered towards me, I quickly moved my eyes away and turned around. SHIT!!! Now he's going to think I was staring at him, which I wasn't, I was just looking and not at him. Damn it, I thought and moved towards the school building.

My first class today was maths, I had it with both Ally and Mason. I walked in and saw Mason already seated, Nina another friend of ours sitting next to him.

"Hey" he said as I reached them.

"Hi Eva" said Nina. She was a dark skinned, black hair beautiful lady.

"Hello, is Ally here yet?" I asked.

"There she comes" said Nina as Ally jumped behind me.

"Hello everyone, Mason you were suppose to save a seat for me." She frowned.

"I am not sitting with you in maths, all you do is talk and I don't understand a word that the teacher says" he replied calmly.

"Fine." said Ally and moved at the back of the class, me following her.

"Did you do the homework?" I asked Ally as we sat down.

"Of course I did I'm a maths genius Hello" she replied and then looked at me sternly "Eva Evans do not ask me questions like that"

"Woah, whats with the mood?"

"Nothing" she replied and took out her notebook from her bag.

"Have you listened to Mason? He rather listen to math teacher's crap then mine. I'm never talking to him ever again."she said turning towards me.

"Good morning class" came the voice of our teacher, I frowned and reached out for my notebook.

"Here we go" I said buttoning the last botton of Millie's dress. She looked beautiful, her blond hair in two ponytail. She jumped of the bed and ran towards the kitchen, to dad. I placed her dirty clothes in the laundry basket and went downstairs to help dad with lunch.

Today was Sunday and everyone was home, I liked sundays, I got to spend more time with everyone, making up for the moments I've missed.

"Do you need any help?" I asked dad as he was filling the bowl with rice he made, Millie sitting next to him on the counter playing with her green dianasour. That's what happens when you have two elder brothers, you don't really play with just barbies.

"Yea, place this on the table and call Alex and Daniel, I will bring the plates and salad."

"Okay" I replied.

I took the rice bowl and placed it on the table then walked upstairs to the twins room.

"Get up its time for lunch" I said as I opened their door.

Both of them were lying on the floor staring at the ceiling.

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing" replied Alex.

"Its fun" said Daniel.

"GET UP" I said louder and both of them got on their feet and ran downstairs.

As I walked down the stairs I heard the door bell ring.

"Eva check it out please" called my dad from the dining room.

I moved towards the door and opened it to see Carter William standing behind it. He was wearing a white shirt with black jeans, his back pack hung over his shoulder.

To say I was surprised was an understatement.

"What are you doing here?" I asked looking at him strangely.

"I thought we had a project to do but if you don't want to its fine I'm out"

"No wait-"

"Who is at the door Eva?" Asked my dad, appearing from behind.

He looked at Carter and then at me.

"Hello sir" said Carter extending his hand to greet.

"Hello" replied my dad shaking his hand.

"This is Carter" I said looking at my dad. "We have an english project to do."

"That's great but you need to have your lunch first and Carter will join us" said my dad looking from me to Carter.

"But dad-"

"No buts, come in Carter" said my dad walking towards the dinning room.

I looked at Carter, he was still standing outside.

"Um....its okay if you want to leave we can do the project in school"

"No. Its fine, I'm hungry" he replied stepping inside and closing the door behind him.

"So what business do you have here Carter" asked Daniel staring at him intensily.

"Daniel" I warned him as he narrowed his eyes at me.

"There's something fishy here, don't you think so Alex?" He said going back to staring at Carter who had a very amused expression on his face as he listened to the twins.

"Come clean, are you Eva"s boyfriend?" Asked Alex taking a sip of his juice.

"ALEX"

"Thats enough boys, this is something I'm suppose to be doing but I think you've roasted Carter enough, I'll save it for the next time. So Carter how is your dad doing" said my dad.

"He is doing really good" he replied, speaking for the first time.

"And your mom?"

"She is fine too, they are both in Austria right now, mom's opening a new store."

"Oh thats great." Said my dad as Carter smilled at him and continued eating.

It was strange seeing Carter being proper and respectful. I was scared he was going to say or do something arrongant like he usually does when he's in school but he seemed nice here. Carter William is one good actor.

"Dad we will go to the park after this right?" Asked Alex.

"Um....yea if your sister can take care of Millie"

"What!? No way, I have a project to do dad I can't"

"Well its not our fault you choose to do the project on a sunday, dad promised us and we are going whether you like it or not" replied Daniel trying his best to smirk at me.

He hoped of the table and walked towards the door, then turned around to look at Carter.

"I've got my eyes on you" he said glaring at him then left.

"We've got our eyes on you" said Alex and went after Daniel.

After the lunch my dad and twins went outside, I thanked God that Millie was asleep as I walked towards my room, Carter behind me.

I still couldn't understand why Carter was here, he never cared about any project and hated the idea of working with me then what brought him here?He even went out to look for Alex and brought him back. I had wondered ever since that happened with him? why he did that?

I entered my room and let him in.
He looked around and then at me.

"This is your room?" He said with a small laugh.
"Yea.." I said feeling a little exposed. I looked around like Carter did. My room wasn't a big room with fancy stuff in it. It had my bed, closet, desk, my book case, tv and bean bags to sit on.

"Its so like you" he said placing his backpack on my bed and sitting down.
I chose to ignore that not knowing in what way he said that.

"So? The project, how do you want to do it? We could choose our parts and sit together and do them incase anyone needs help"

"I am not sitting down with you and doing anything, you just tell me my part, you'll get it till due date" said Carter standing up.

I do not like this guy and his attitude.

"Okay" I said trying to contain my annoyance.

I got my bag from the desk and took out the project paper that had all the details of what we are required to do.

"You do this part cause its easy and I will do the other okay?" I asked moving the paper towards him.

"Do you always do it?"

I looked at him strangely not knowing what he was talking about.

"Do what?" I asked looking at him confused. His hazel eyes resting on me for a second and then looking away, he never looked at anyone properly like his eyes are too cool to land on someone like us, like me.

"Eat together" he stated.

"Yea-that's what families do" I said then took a moment before saying.

"Don't you have dinner with your family?

"Thats none of your business" He said grabbing his bag and the paper from my hand and walking out the door.

"I will give you my part when its finished, don't bother me after this."
