I knocked on the door, waiting for someone too open it. Drake was sitting in the car, waiting. I knocked a second time, getting impatient. The nights was cold and it was still raining, though it wasn't a storm anymore as it was an hour ago. Just water pouring down.

I hugged myself, wearing just a black dress and no sweater I was freezed to the bone. The door opened and Eva's father stepped out.

"Hi Mr Evans" I said with a bright smile.

I like Eva's father.

"Oh hello there kid, didn't expect you to see here" he said.

"I just came to pick up Eva for the party" I replied.

"Eva, she went like an hour ago, said she had to help Kaiden with the party"

I mentally face palmed me. Why didn't I remember that?

"Oh right, I totally forgot. Sorry for disturbing you must be busy" I said still angry at my stupidity.

"No no, its fine, listen Ally can I ask you something?" He said.

"Yes?"

"Is Eva okay? Its just.....I feel like something's bothering her lately and I don't know how to talk her, I've never done that before."

I looked at him and saw the worry in his eyes, how do I tell him that there is nothing wrong with his daughter except that she's in love.

I know Eva is not herself lately, there is something going on with her that I don't know of, that she hasn't told me about. I was meaning to find out what but I have been so caught up in my life to do something else.

I suddenly feel like a bad friend.

"A.....she's doing okay, I mean as far as I know but I will make sure of that"

"That would be great! Thankyou" he replied, a smile on his face.

"No need to thank me, she's my best friend, I am supposed to watch out for her. I'll get going now" I said.

"Yea okay, have fun" he said and I walked back to the car.

"Where's Eva?" Asked Drake as I opened the door to the passenger side.

"I forgot, she had to go before to help Kaiden with the party" I said sitting down in the seat.

"Why the hell she would go to Kaiden's alone?" Said Drake a little irritated.

"Why what's wrong with Kiaden?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing, lets go" he replied starting the car.

Eva isn't the only one keeping secrets from me, my boyfriend is doing that too and its really annoying.

Suddenly I felt like the night was wrong.

I opened the door and checked it, no, not here. Groaning I went back downstairs. I have to say Kaiden's apartment is amazing, it has everything that a person would want and he gets to live here all alone, how cool is that?

People were pouring in this place, Every step that I took I bumped into someone. It seemed like everyone was here, people like going to rich kids parties cause their good.

I walked over to where Drake was standing, he was talking to a friend of his.

"I cannot find Eva" I said after he finished talking to his friend.

"And I cannot find Carter, maybe their somewhere together" he replied.

I nodded, he's probably right, Eva would be here somewhere.

"Wanna dance princess" said Drake holding out his hand.

A smile appeared on my face as I took his hand, clasping it in mine. He twirled me around and then brought me closer to him. My hands rested on his chest as I stared up at his gorgeous eyes. I could hear my heart beating even with the loud music.

"Allow me to say you look beautiful today, but you know what's better?"

"What?" I asked.

"That your with me, see no one can have this beautiful except me" he replied with a cheeky laugh.

"Your a lucky man" I replied.

"Ally-" came Carter's voice from behind me.

Drake let go of me and I turned to see Carter approaching us.

"Hey" he said.

"Hi" I replied as he catched his breath.

"Listen I was wondering if you have seen Eva? She was suppose to be at the party but I can't see her" he said looking at me.

"No I haven't seen her actually, I went by her house to pick her up, but her dad said she left early to hekp Kaiden with the party. I have searched for her everywhere but I cannot find her" I replied.

"Kaiden?" He said getting angry. "Why is Eva so stubborn"

"Hey don't call her stubborn when your no better yourself" I snapped back.

He didn't even look at me, he was searching the crowd now, his eyes movinh from here to there. Worry written on his face. How is he not able to hid his emotions? He is known for that.

I have not been able to understand Carter, I mean who has? You can never tell what he wants. He has always been a mystery, I guess that's part of his charm.

I have been trying to figure it out, if he likes Eva or not. There are moments when I'm so sure he feels something for Eva but those don't last long.

I started to search the crowd too now, getting worried. Where the hell is Eva.  And how am I going to find her in this huge crowd. I reached for my purse to take out the phone.

"I tried calling, her phone is switched off" said Carter.

I sighed and looked around again, I spotted Kaiden a little away from us, his phone on his ear.

"KAIDEN" I screamed to get his attention.

He looked towards me and rushed over, placing the phone in his pocket.

"Hey Ally, have you seen Eva?" He asked as he reached me.

I don't know why but a shiver ran down my body.

"What do you mean? She came here to help you didn't she?" I said.

"Yea, she was suppose to come, I even talked to her on the phone two hours ago, she said she was on her way, that she'll be here in ten minutes..."

"And?"

"And nothing, she hasn't come and her phone is switched off to, I have been calling for a while now. I am getting worried" he said looking worried.

I was trying to process what he was saying when I felt someone shivering beside me. I looked and saw Carter. Anger was written all over him. I have never seen him like this before.

"I am going to kill you" he said in a low dangerous voice to Kaiden.

Kaiden looked towards him, thinking if he should respond or leave it. Carter moved forward and grabbed him by his collar.

"If something happens to her, I am going to kill you" he said again a little louder now.

Seeing him like this, I knew he would do that. That he is capable of killling. Kaiden pushed him away, releasing himself.

"Instead of doing this right now, we should look for Eva" said Kaiden, trying to control his anger.

Carter took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Opening them after a few second he looked at Drake.

"Drake" he said.

"I know" replied Drake nodding.

Carter nodded back at him and then ran off, I couldn't see where he was going cause Drake grabbed me and turned me to face him.

"Keep looking for Eva, call me if you find her or need help. And please be careful" he said.

I nodded, he leaned forward and kissed my forehead.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"To look for Eva" he said and went away.

Why do I feel something really bad is going to happen, is already happening.

*Drake Richards*

Carter banged the door again, voilently.

"Dude, relax" I said.

"Don't say that again" he replied banging again.

"Stop it, your going to wake up the neighbours"

"Don't tell me what to do" He replied back.

"I thought you didn't have feelings for Eva"

"If you utter one more word, I am going to hurt you" he said clenching his teeth.

Before I could come up with something to say the door opened and Caroline stepped out. She was in her pj's and had a bed head.

"What the hell?" She said looking at us.

Carter grabbed her by the arm and brought her back inside the house. I closed the door behind me.

This is going to be fun, its always fun watching Carter and Caroline fight, I would have grabbed popcorns on the way if the matter wasn't a serious one.

"WHAT THE HELL CARTER" said Caroline pushing Carter's hand away.

"Where is Eva?" Said Carter.

"Oh she's not with you?" Replied Caroline.

"Don't push my buttons right now, tell me where the hell is Eva" he repeated.

"How the hell will I know" said Caroline, imitating him.

I tried to cover my smile, see? Fun.

"Why weren't you at the party?" I stepped in seeing Carter's anger.

Carter's anger is a dangerous thing for everyone. Its rare to see him this angry but when you do you know there are going to be consequences, that aren't pretty.

"I was sick" said Caroline.

"When did you leave a party for sickness?"

She remained quite turning her eyes away from me.

"ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION CAROLINE" shouted Carter.

"I am not at good terms with Kaiden so I didn't go to his party, happy?"

"Its you and Kaiden isn't it? If you and Kaiden did something, I swear I would-"

"Carter neither me nor Kaiden is tha stupid to do something on a party night. It would be too obvious" she said.

Carter stepped back and sat down on the couch, his left leg moving continuesly up and down.

"What happened?" Asked Caroline.

"Eva's missing" I replied.

"Caroline-" started Carter again.

"Carter, believe me I didn't kidnap Eva and neither did Kaiden. He is a clever man to do something this stupid" said Caroline slowly now.

Carter ran his hand through his hair furiously. I knew he liked Eva but this much? He has never been this worried for anyone, has never reacted like this before.

"Its Rick" I said.

"Of course it is" replied Carter.

He stood up, a determined look on his face.

"If I don't find her tonight, I'm going to the police"

"What? Are you crazy? You could risk exposing all of us" said Caroline, bewildered.

"I don't care" said Carter.

He turned around and left, my eyes trailing him. I looked at Caroline and saw sadness in her eyes.

"Don't do something stupid" I said and  followed Carter.
