I was in my room when there was a knock at the door.

"Come in" I said sitting up straight.

The door opened and Kaiden stepped in. I was actually surprised to see him here, he had been missing for a while now, not coming to school. I tried calking but his phone was always turned off.

"Hey" I said looking at him.

"Hi" he replied with a small smile.

There were bags under his eyes, he was wearing a grey shirt that wasn't ironed. It looked like he just took it out of the closet and wore it. He walked over to my study table and placed his helmet on it.

He looked extremely tired and weak.

"Where have you been? It's like you vanished" I said as he climbed on bed, sitting next to me.

"I was sick" he replied simply.

"I can see that" I replied.

He leaned against the headboard and closed his eyes.

"How are you?" He asked.

I looked at him and saw him staring at me.

"I'm good"

He nodded and closed his eyes again.

I got up from the bed and went to my study table, getting my books to do some homework. It looked like Kaiden was going to sleep.

"Hey, I wanted to tell you something" camr his voice I turned and saw him sitting up.

"What?"

"I was planning a party at my apartment this saturday" he said.

I walked over and sat down next to him.

"Really? I don't think that's a good idea, I mean your sick and....."

"No, believe me a party is what I really need" he replied.

I looked at him for a moment and then smiled.

"Okay then, its been long since a party happened here anyways, so a lot of people will show up." I responded.

"Yea, thats what I want to talk to you about....um....I was wondering if you could come and help me with the party?"

"Help you?"

"Yea, people start coming at about seven, so if you could come early and help with the drinks and chips and music" he said looking at me hopefully.

I was quite for a moment, the last time I went to Kaiden's apartment things didn't turn out good. I don't want to repeat that.

"I know the last time things didn't go right and I am sorry for that. This could be the opportunity to redo that" pleaded Kaiden.

I sighed and thought for another second.

"Okay" I replied.

"Yes! Thankyou"

I laughed at Kaiden's overly excited reaction.

"Just don't attack me with the knife this time" I said jokingly.

"I won't" replied Kaiden but he wasn't laughing.

He looked serious.

"I need to tell you something important" said Ally following me as I delivered the order to a lady sitting at the table in the corner.

"Promise you won't freak out"

I walked back to the counter with the tray.

"What is it?"

"I know it seems impossible..."

"Ally what is it?"

"And completely far fetched..."

I gave the tray to Layla who took it back inside the kitchen.

"But I guess its the right thing and I hope that...."

"ALLY JAMES STOP WASTING MY TIME AND TELL ME" I said looking at her angrily.

"Me and Drake are dating" she let it out in one breath.

"WHAT!?" I shouted as she closed her eyes.

People in the cafe were staring at us now, I felt my cheeks heat up because of the embarrasement.

"Me and Drake, we are dating" said Ally again now with pauses.

"When did this happen?" I asked.

"Two days ago" she replied.

"And how did this happened?"

"I went to his house to you know apolozise and he started acting like a jerk again, so we started fighting and then in between the fight he slipped it out that he liked me and then there was silence. He then asked if I would go out with him and I replied with a YES! God I am so stupid" said Ally laying her head down on the counter.

I stared at her head with wide eyes, unable to digest this news. That was really fast.

"I need time to process" I said Finally.

She looked up at me.

"What is there to process?"

"That you and Drake are dating"

"Oh God that sounds so stupid" she cried holding her head in between her hands.

Take a deep sigh she looked up again.

"I just want to know if your okay with it?" She asked.

"Why won't I be okay with it? I mean I like Drake and if he makes you happy then its fine but...."

"Oh thank goodness, I thought you wouldn't approve"

"But I need time to process" I repeated.

I was standing near the school entrance staring at Drake and Ally talking to each other in the distance. He was smiling as she was talking, their hands intertwined. It didn't look like one would break the other's heart.

I didn't want to disturb them and that's why was standing here currently. To be honest its not about disturbing them, its abour the awkwardness that would surround us if I went up to them.

Everyone around were looking at them, this was the new hot news of our school, this could even tip over Carter and Caroline's break up. everyone seemed surprised at this new couple, nobody thought this could happen keeping in mind their history. It's hard to imagine Ally and Drake together.

"What the hell is this?" Said Mason from beside me.

I broke my gaze from Ally and Drake and looked at him.

"Hello to you too"

"Drake and Ally are dating?" Asked Mason looking at me.

"So I've heard" I replied.

"Listen if Ally is doing this for my attention she is not-"

"Oh for God's sake Mason, you're so full of yourself, not everything Ally does is about you. Maybe she is doing this for herself" I snapped back.

He shifted his gaze from me to Ally and then sighed.

"He is going to break her heart, he is known for that"

"Maybe he doesn't" I replied back.

We both looked back at them, Ally was still talking and Drake was still listening carefully, maybe this might work.

"Coming" I said as I rushed to the front door.

Opening it I saw Nina standing behind it.

"Hi" she squecked.

"Hey" I replied surprised to see her.

I stepped aside to let her in.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Oh I needed some help with english homework and Mason is busy today, so I was wondering if you could help me." She replied turning to face me.

"Yea sure"

We made our way to our room, Nina jumped on my bed and looked around.

"Your room is so cozy" she exclaimed.

"Thankyou" I replied walking over to the study table to get my books.

Bringing them to the bed I climbed up too.

"So the homework, it wad to write the summary of the poem-"

"Eva, I'm realy hungry" Nina cut in.

I looked up at her.

"Can we eat something before we do this?" She asked.

"Yea why not, I'll go bring something to eat" I said standing up.

I walked down the stairs to the kitchen. Opening the fridge I grabbed two coke and a bag of chips from the shelf above. I walked back up to see the door was closed. When I turned the knob I found it was locked.

"Nina?" I knocked.

"Yea? Oh sorry, I just found this shirt of yours so I was trying it out, give me second" she replied back.

"Okay"

After about five minutes she opened the door. I walked in and placed the drinks and chips at the side table.

"This is such a cool shirt" she said holding out a silver shirt I bought recently.

"Thankyou. You can have it if you want" I replied.

"Oh no no no" she said placing it on the couch and the clinbing back on the bed.

"Hey Nina, Kaiden is going to throw a party this saturday at his apartment, he asked me to let you know" I said suddenly remembering.

"Really? Its going to be so much fun. Are you going?" She replied jumping a little.

"Yea I am, I'll go a little early to help him with everything"

"Oh okay"

We studied for a little while, as long as the bag of chips lasted. She took all the notes and said she would write it all down later. It was getting dark anyway.

"It was fun today" she said standing near the front door about to leave.

"Yea, it was"

"Listen Eva I want you to know that I am yout friend and if you need help with anything or you need to talk about something you can come to me" she said all of a sudden.

That was out if nowhere and I couldn't hide my shock.

"Thankyou Nina" I replied.

She smiled and turned around to leave as she opened the door and on the other side I saw Carter standing.

"Well hello there" said Nina as Catter stared at her.

His eyes shifted from Nina to me to Nina again.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Nina.

"None of your business" he replied stepping aside to give her way to leave.

Nina glared at him.

"What did she wanted?" Asked Carter the moment she left.

"Homework" I replied simply as I walked back to my room.

"That's it?"

"Yea, what else?" I said looking at him as he entered the room.

"Nothing" he replied looking around.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"I just came to check in" he replied looking at me.

A warm feeling rose in my stomach but I snubbed it back down.

"You don't have to do that anymore, I told my dad about it and he went to the police, they are guarding the perimeters" I replied.

"What!? You told your dad about it! Why?" He said.

"Because" I replied shocked at his reaction.

"Eva I told you I will take care of it, I did take care of it" he replied frustrated.

"Carter I have three kids in this house, what if something happens to them?"

"I know that, that's why I took care of it"

"And those men were brutal, they could have killed me if I wouldn't have escaped"

"I wouldn't have let that happen" he said stepping forward holding my arms in his hand.

I stared at his eyes, they showed worry and fear. Is that for me? My eyes went down to his hands, they held my arms in them firmly, there was no chance to escape.

Realising what he had just done he let go of my arm and stepped back. I shifted my gaze away from him too.

"Its...its fine, its okay, just don't tell your dad anything else okay? We don't need police getting involved in this" he replied not looking at me.

"Why?"

"Are you alone in the house?" He asked.

Of course he chose to ignore my question.

"Yes"

"I'll stay with you until your dad comes back" he replied walking over and sitting on the couch.

I didn't wanted him to stay but I wanted him to stay.

"Drake and Ally are together" I said trying to release the tension in the air.

"Yes, Drake told me that. Good for them, they are together now. Together and happy"

Hiiii my friends!!! How are you all??? How is yout life going??? Here is a little treat from me to you all on a monday. I hope you like the chapter, don't forget to tell me what you think about it. Also thought that you should know.
The next chapter is going to have something HUGE in it. Any guesses???
