It confuses me how so many people in this fandom love Summer Rose.

We really know nothing about her.

All we know is that she was apart of Team STRQ, she had silver eyes, was in love with Taiyang, she is Ruby's mother, and that she is dead.

That is all we know!

Everything else is speculation!

We don't know how her personality was like, but I'm pretty sure she was a somewhat decent person.

She was definitely a bad friend though, that can't be denied. Raven walks out and Summer immediately moves in on Taiyang.
