While I am a fan of the ship of Roman and Neo, I don't think that the previous Gelato confession was too farfetched.

Yeah, Gelato isn't exactly a mirror version of The Joker and Harley Quinn, but we don't know the story behind them.

I'll admit that they have their differences and even their similarities. But besides that, from what we've seen, Roman and Neo's interactions all point to a Joker Harley story.

Sure, Gelato from what we've seen is not at all abusive. But I have my theory, that Neo wasn't always the criminal sidekick she is at Roman's side. And I like to think that Roman took Neo in just for work purposes and soon after he warmed up to her. Also let's be honest, if Neo could talk she probably would say phrases similar to Harley's.

So besides the abuse, they are both pretty similar couples

All the hardcore stans can hate me for this, but before you get your panties in a bunch, remember that this is just a headcanon/theory.
