The king returned to his palace the moment Tsunade left Zeyis.

He remembered the condition Naruto gave and he released all the birds. The birds all flew out, it was a beautiful sight. The birds parted ways but Sasuke knew their destination was the same. Their home, Auroa.

He smiled to himself sweetly, repeating what Naruto said to him. "I won't need them once I have you,"

He climbed up the stairs and return to his love's side.

"All I need is you."

Naruto opened his eyes slightly after hearing Sasuke. He looked over to him and saw Sasuke's deep slashes on his face.

"Who did this to you?!" He sat up quickly, as he looked at Sasuke's wounds.

"Oh, you noticed." Sasuke said indifferently.

"Of course I noticed!" Naruto wondered what happened while he was asleep.

Sasuke shook his head and shrugged it off. Naruto insisted.

"Very well..It was Kiba."

"Kiba?!" oh that's right. He didn't inform Kiba.. Dammit! He must have thought Sasuke kidnapped him. Naruto felt guilty for his irresponsible actions. He decided to go back to Auroa and inform everyone. They must be so worried..

Sasuke grabbed Naruto's wrist when he was leaving the bed.

Naruto looked back with a confused expression. Sasuke shook his head.

He desperately wanted Naruto to stay. His time was precious. His time was running out.

"Stay." he demanded once he read Naruto's thoughts.

"But I have to go!" Sasuke's grip tighten, and began pulling him back into the bed. Naruto sat back down on the bed, he crossed his legs into one another. Sasuke had this sad look in his eyes, this loneliness and agony in his eyes.

"Is something wrong?"

"Nothing, my love. Just- please stay."

Naruto gave in to that sad look and decided to stay. "Are you sure nothing is bothering you?"

"Nothing is bothering m-" Sasuke's world blacked out as he fell off the bed and face first landed of the ground. Naruto was too late to catch him.

"Sasuke?! Sasuke?!"

The voice blurred out.

When the king awoke, he was in the hospital as the bird sadly waited for him. He realized he could only see from one eye.

He raised his hand and looked at it,

Confirming the fact.

"I'm..I'm partially blind."

The bird, who was falling asleep quickly turned to him as soon as he realized his lover was awake and talking.

Wait.

Partially blind?

"What? Wha-what do you mean?!" He didn't get what he was saying. How could somebody suddenly get partially blind. This can't be happening.

"Let me get the doctor!" Naruto stood up but the raven grabbed his hands, stopping him from getting help.

"It's no use." He smiled sadly to himself.

"I thought I could live longer than this."

"Sasuke, please!" Naruto was in panic mode, "Don't talk like that!"

His eyes were watery.

He didn't want to lose his savior.

His savior from his pain.

He didn't want to return back into that world.

"We have yet to do so many things together. Sasuke please! Tell me what happened?" Naruto was shivering with fear. Fear of losing Sasuke.

"I was born with an illness that would affect me sooner or later." said Sasuke.

"I am cursed with a strong power, so strong it could kill me." he coughed as his lips turned pale.

"Each time I turned into that demonic wolf, it kills me."

His face turned pale.

"When did you-?" Naruto couldn't think of a time he saw Sasuke's true form.

"With Kiba?!" he snapped.

But how could he- he was born with it? Naruto couldn't believe it, he never said anything about it.

"Naruto.." the sick man reached his hand out to cup his face. His hands were weakening as they tremble.

The bird's tears cant help but fall. He can't bear to watch him in this state. He turned away. "No, don't. Look at me. I want to see you for the last time." He held his chin, slowly pulling me to face him.

"You're so beautiful." He coughed.

"You promise me you'll love me forever, you can't love me when you're dead! Please don't lie to me. Please don't break your promise.."

Please don't leave me..

All alone again.

His condition deteriorated, fast.

"Ever since I met you, everyone gave me attention, love and concern. They always talked about me like I was so special. Why I was special was because I was special to you, therefore I was special to everyone else in Auroa and Zeyis."

"It doesn't matter if I'm not special to Auroa or Zeyis people as long as I am special to you so please don't die on me.." Naruto whimpered.

All he got as he reply from the dying man was a weak smile from his pale lips.

"You'll be fine without me. Because you're very special. And those who can't see it, pity them."

Naruto shook his head, he didn't want to hear this.

"What's going to happen to you?"

"I'm going to be blind."

"That's it?" He was slightly relieved. Not because he was going to be blind. But because he wasn't going to die and leave him behind.

He closed his eyes and shook his head.

"Huh? What does that mean?" The blonde couldn't be any more anxious, he prepared himself for the worst.

"I'm going to be blind, then I'll lose my memory,"

He exhaled. " Eventually I'll die a paralyzed man."

Die? No.. He can't die. He was so strong to rule over Zeyis. He can't..

The small creature cried immediately, burying his face into the other's chest and hugging him tightly. He wanted to memorize the feel, smell and look of him.

And as he buried his face, he kept screaming, refusing to believe any of this.
