Later in the day .....

"Hey Anne can I tell you something?" Asked Sasha

"Sure, what's up?" Asked Anne

"I think the new kid's cute." Said Sasha

"Which new kid? There's a bunch of new kids now." Said Anne

"Sprig." Said Sasha

"Ooooo Sasha has a little crush." Said Anne as she smirked at her

"Whatever, can you go see if Sprig's single?" Asked Sasha

"Sure." Said Anne.

She searched for Sprig and saw him walking into the Library. Anne followed him into the library and saw him reading a bunch of books.

"Hi Sprig!" Asked Anne

Sprig looked behind him and saw Anne smiling at him.

"Hey Anne." Greeted Sprig

"Whatcha reading?" Asked Anne as she sat next to him.

"I'm reading about a magic Chest called the Calamity Box." Answered Sprig

"Why do you want to read about that?" Asked Anne

"Because uhhh It'll help me get back to my family. You see I found this chest and it's because of this chest that I'm separated from my family 🙁🙁🙁🙁-

Anne frowned, she couldn't help but feel sorry for him. She put her hand on top of his, Sprig looked at her hand and he smiled at her.

"But if I figure out the chest, I can go back home and see my family again 😄😄😄" Said Sprig.

"Okay, what does your family look like?"

"Promise you won't judge?"

Anne nodded her head yes. Sprig grabbed a photo from his pocket and gave it to Anne. She looked at it. She then looked at Sprig like he was tricking her

"Why are you a frog?" Asked Anne

"Oh I come from a world of frogs! I live in the strange world of Amphibia!"

Anne blinked at Sprig.

"You're kidding right? You photoshopped this didn't you?" Asked Anne

"What's Photoshop?"

"It's when you edit a photo, you edited it so you would look like a frog." Said Anne

"I swear I didn't photoshop it!" Said Sprig

Sprig started to look kinda sad that Anne wasn't believing him, although he couldn't blame her, if someone walked up to you and said they live in a world where talking frogs exist would you believe the person?

"I'm sorry Sprig, I want to believe you it's just that it seems impossible." Said Anne

"That's okay, if I was in your shoes I probably wouldn't believe this either. Just believe this, This chest will help me get home." Said Sprig

Anne looked into Sprigs eyes and saw that he deeply believed that this chest was key to getting back to his family.

"Okay, I believe you. Not about you being a frog but about the chest helping you get home."

"Thanks Anne, you're the best!" Said Sprig

Anne was about to leave the library when she remembered why Anne was there in the first place

"Oh before I forget, Are you single?" Asked Anne

"Yes, I'm not dating anyone. Why?"

"My friend was wondering that."

"Okay then, Bye Anne." Said Sprig as he smiled at her

Anne smiled back.

"Bye Sprig."

Anne left the library and went to Sasha.

"So Is he single?"

"Yeah."

"What took you so long?" Asked Sasha

"We just talked." Answered Anne

"Okay then, anyway Anne I was thinking you know the new ride at the Amusement Park, The Seasick Flume?"

"Yeah! I can't wait to ride it!" Said Anne excitedly.

"Well, why don't we go there now? You, Me and Marcy pretend to be sick and that we have to be sent home and we just go on the ride!" Said Sasha

"Skip school? I don't know, This isn't the first time you suggested we skip school. I really think it's a bad idea." Said Anne

"Listen Anne, this ride is the most ultimate of them all, it's only for a while and we'll come back to school as soon as we're done riding it." Said Sasha

"I still think this is a bad idea. I don't want to get in trouble with my parents." Said Anne.

"Come on Anne, Don't be such a downer. You know you want to ride it. You live for adventure and fun!" Said Sasha

"You don't understand Sasha. I'm already on thin ice with my parents with your plans. They never work and we always get in trouble. I don't want to make my parents more angry at me." Said Anne

"Oh come on Anne. We're teenagers, we should live for trouble and mischief. 😈😈😈 We shouldn't be obident and stay locked up in a tower like some princess 👸🏽! So come on, lets figure out if we should pretend to be sick or sneak out of school." Said Sasha as she grabbed Annes hand.

Anne looked at her hand and yanked it out of Sasha's.

"Okay first of all, We're 12 we aren't Teenagers yet and second of all, I'm sorry Dude but you don't understand, I really don't want to go and get in trouble 😣😣😣😣." Said Anne

"Oh I get it Anne. You want to be a goody-two shoes just like everyone in this pathetic little school. Come on! Hang out with your friends who only want the best for you." Said Sasha

"Look Sasha, we can go on the ride on Saturday or Sunday but it can't be today. I'm sorry but-

"Listen Anne, this isn't cute anymore. We're going to figure out how to leave school during Social Studies-

"Why Social Studies?, wait no! I don't want to-

"Anne! We're going to figure out a way to sneak out together and I don't care if you're against it! You don't want to make your only friend, the only friend you've had since Kindergarten, the friend that's been with you forever sad do you?! 😠😠😠😠😠😠" Said Sasha

Anne froze 🥶🥶🥶, She didn't want to lose the only friends that she ever had. She didn't want to go back to doing things on her own, she didn't want to go back to eating in the Cafeteria by herself and she didn't want to be isolated. She knew that this is what friendship was about. Doing what the other friend wanted you to do, even if you didn't want to do it, even if you believed it was wrong

You had to do it because if you didn't, they might not want to be your friend anymore.

Anne looked at Sasha who gave her a disappointed face.

"Maybe this time we'll be able to get away with this. I'm in." Said Anne

Sashas face of disappointed face turned into a face of pleasement.

"Yes! I knew that you'd change your mind! Now come on we're gonna be late for class" Said Sasha as she winked at Anne and left.

Anne followed, looking quite sad that this is what friendship was like. Little did she know that a true friend watched everything that just happened and
