Linebeck's POV 

I was steering the ship while Link was on the deck, looking for Cannon Island. I saw him wave his arm at me, before he pointed in a direction. Turning the captain's wheel I followed where he pointed. Link ran into the Control Room and I looked at him. "You take over" 

I said and he nodded, Ciela came out from under his hat. "What, gonna dump more work on Link?" she asked. Rolling my eyes I turned to face  the ball of sparkles. 

"No, Sparkles. For your information, I'm going to check on (y/n)." I said and she made a face at me. "What is she your girlfriend now?" Grabbing her wings as I pulled on them a little I looked at her. 

"I'm only going to check on her since she's taking up my bed! What else am I supposed to do? Sleep on the floor!" I said. Letting her go as she started to talk, I crossed my arms and turned to the door to go below deck. 

"You could at least admit she's your friend!" I heard before I went down the stairs. Shaking my head as I turned on a small lamp, and looked over to the bed. Why did I want to make sure she was all right? Is it to have my bed back? Or am I worried about her? Looking at her sleeping form, I felt a warm feeling. What is this? What the hell is wrong with me? 

Slapping my cheeks a little I tried to get the thought from my mind. I am not worried about (y/n). I am not worried about (y/n)! Fuck it, I'm worried about her. Looking over to her again I crossed my arms. Why was I so worried though? I've only known her a week, for crying out loud! Shaking my head I sat at the desk and put my hands on the sides of my head as i gripped my hair. 

"L-Linebeck?" 

Humming gently I didn't turn my head to look at where the voice was coming from. Instead, I let my head lay on my desk. Feeling hands on my shoulders I closed my eyes. I sat up as the hands squeezed my shoulders. Looking over my shoulder I saw (y/n). She smiled down at me, she was wearing one of my button up shirts. Turning my head so I didn't look at her, in fear of what it might do to me. 

"Linebeck, look at me." she said as her gently hand turned my head to meet her gaze. It was a soft one. although there was a subtle hint of something else in her eyes. What was  it, lust? Turning around in my chair she stepped closer to me and put her hands on the sides of my face as she leaned down, cupping it. Her lips had  brushed against mine, ever so gently. 

She leaned down to me more and full on pressed her lips against mine. Feeling my heart pound a little as she did. Pulling away she looked at me, that was before I stood up and grabbed her waist, pulling her closer. Pressing her body against mine. Leaning down I returned the kiss, but it was a little firmer this time. She had happily returned it. Squeezing her hips, a noise passed her lips. Nibbling on her bottom lip, I picked her and she wrapped her legs around me, her hands cupping my face. 

Setting on the desk that was behind me, my right hand trailed it's way down her thigh, and wrapped itself behind her knee, keeping her leg around my hips. Leaning over her a little I kissed along her neck, leaving small love bites here and there. 

"Linebeck~" 

Smirking as I heard my name leave her lips, I continued what i was doing, a little rougher now. 

"Linebeck~!" humming against her i pulled away and looked at her. 

"Linebeck!" I jumped as I picked my head off of my desk. Looking left and right frantically I stopped when I saw the little fluff ball. She was fluttering up and down quickly as she yelled at me. "Linebeck!" Waving my hand in front of her face I turned to look at (y/n). Her response was to roll over on the bed. Looking at Ciela I stood up. 

"What are you yelling about? You're going to wake her up" I whispered. She looked at me for a moment and put her hands on her hips. "You were muttering in your sleep. Besides, we're here." she said. Nodding I followed her up the stairs to the deck. Finding link putting his sword and shield back on, I crossed my arms. 

"(y/n) said to get a cannon, talk to people on the isle and see what you can find. I believe someone named Eddo lives here. He might know something" I said. Nodding, Link ran off and I went below deck to get a mop, going up to the deck I sighed gently. Dropping anchor always made the deck soaked. Mopping the access water and ringing the mop out over the rail I whistled a little. 

(y/n)'s POV 

I had woken up. Looking at the ceiling I blinked gently. Turning to the desk that was in the room I noticed it was empty. Sitting up and letting my feet reach the floor, I stood up. Not noticing what I was wearing I made my way up to the deck. Opening the door I looked at who was on the deck. Noticing it was Linebeck I leaned on the door frame. I watched as he mopped with his back to me. Whistling while he worked. 

Walking over to him, I rubbed my eye before I touched his back gently. He jumped as he turned to look at me. Dropping the mop as he saw me. Quickly, he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. Making a surprised noise, I hugged him back gently. Blinking after he remembered what he did, he let me go quickly. 

"You're awake." he said. Nodding as i frowned gently, missing his warmth. "Yeah, how long was I out for? I feel like it's already winter." I sad as I crossed my arms in front of me. He glanced at me from the side before he jumped a little and took off his jacket, wrapping it around me. Raising a brow as he looked away from me, a slight blush at his cheeks. He motioned for me look look down. 

Looking down I was shocked. "You took my pants off!" I said as i rose my hand to hit him. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth as he braced himself for the slap. Lowering my hand I sighed gently. "Whatever, don't do it again" I said as I turned to go back below deck. His jacket going with me. Getting dressed I went back up the stairs and looked around. Link must have gone looking for Eddo already. 

Handing Linebeck his jacket and telling him I'd be back, i left in search for Link. I hadn't noticed that he was standing at the bow of the ship, looking amiss. There was something on his mind, something that was bothering him. Shaking my head, i figured to ask about it later. 

I had found a tall red headed guy that was Eddo's apprentice. Fuzo. Talking to him he told me that he guessed I was with the little boy in green. Looking to buy a cannon, but I would have to go all the way around the isle to get to the workshop to speak with Eddo. 

Leaving through the large gate, I started making my way around. Finding a cave I went inside, avoiding all of the rats that were running around the ground. Going through the areas that had been opened up. Following the footsteps Link had made. Reaching the stairs and leaving the cave. Running around and jumping from the platform. I made my way to Eddo's workshop. 

Getting inside I found Eddo and Link. Ciela greeted me first. "You're awake! Did you sleep well?" she asked. Smiling i nodded gently. "I did, but why did you yell at Linebeck so much?" 

She looked at me for a moment. "He was muttering in his sleep, I guess he fell asleep at the desk while you were in his bed, he was probably tired from the amount of worry." 

"Amount of worry? What do you mean?" 

"He was worried about you since you collapsed. He didn't want to admit it though, how cute!" 

Blushing deeply I looked away from the fairy. She giggled and flew back over to link. Eddo had taken some money from Link and we were able to put it on the ship now. Leaving the small building we caught back up with Linebeck. 

"How'd it go?" He asked as he looked at Link. "You got the cannon? Great! Now we can go to Molidia island." he said. Stepping to the side he let link go onto the ship first. Glancing at me he went to follow the young hero before I grabbed his hand. Stopping mid step he looked at me. 

"What?" he asked as i looked at the sand. "Ciela said something about you being worried.... about me?" I asked. He looked away from me. 

"That damn fairy can't keep anything to herself." he mumbled. Looking at him as he turned to look at me. "I wanted to make sure you were all right. Mostly because you were in my bed so I couldn't sleep." he said as he crossed his arms. I hit his arm and he rubbed it gently. Whining that it hurt. 

Smiling a little. So Captain Linebeck was able to care about more than himself and treasure? Astounding. Holding his hand gently as I stepped closer to him. He looked at me for a moment as he leaned a way from me a bit. Leaning over I kissed his cheek gently. Walking by him as I smiled wide, a light blush on my cheeks. 

"Next stop, Molidia Island!"
