Chapter 20: Just Because!
Chapter 20: Just Cause MN
(y/n)
"Garroth Joseph!"
I squealed, suddenly being tickled. He continued, not stopping, him having completely caught me off guard. I continued laughing as I tried to push him off.
"Garroth, stop it!" I laughed, my voice breathless as I was starting to wheeze for breath.
He suddenly got off me, his face full of positive emotions suddenly went to confusion and fear, "I'm so sorry, (y/n) ..." He whispered, looking at my face softly.
I breathed for a minute before half jumping up, knocking him over onto the couch behind him. I hovered over him with a chuckle, "You were saying?" I softly giggled, my hands on either side of his shoulders, supporting my body as I looked at him.
He chuckled, blush brushing his cheeks, "Show-off." He softly said.
"Tickler." I said.
"Pusher." He retorted.
"Blonde."
"Baby."
I giggled before frowning, "Wait... what?" My head lightly tilted, looking at him.
He chuckled before he gently sat up. I squeaked as my body slid down from his stomach into his lap, his hands gently gripping my hips, "You heard me."
I lightly smiled before he softly nuzzled his nose against mine before setting his head on my shoulder. I gently leaned my head against his, closing my eyes. His hand gently moved to the side, it slowly stopping on the side of my stomach. We both lightly looked down.
"There's no baby bump yet, Garroth..." I lightly giggled, looking at him softly, gently murmuring it into his ear.
He chuckled lightly, "Still... he or she are still in there." He looked up at me, lightly brushing his lips against my cheek. I lightly bit my lip, "Still... There's two in there, buddy." I said softly.
"I know..." He and I fully faced one another, his other hand gently gripping the matched side of mine. He gripped my hand softly, his thumb running against the top of my hand. I sighed quietly, looking at him, it not helping that all I could do was just smile.
Garroth noticed before smiling, "What are you smiling about, (n/n)?" He whispered.
"I don't know. Just a different life happening in less than a week... Two on the way... and maybe an actual place we'll all stay at together..." I softly said, looking at him.
He chuckled, "Well, after everything calms down... we'll go look for a house, get everything together, then get ready for a new and better life." He softly said.
I smiled before looking around, "Are you sure the guys won't come back for a while...? If they come in and see us..." I bit my lip.
Garroth chuckled, "Then they can suck it up. They said they were going to go somewhere for the night and I told them that you were going to be over."
"You haven't told them yet have you?" I giggled, looking at him.
He shook his head lightly, "They're all clueless. Just like we planned until Lillian's birthday in about a month."
I smiled, "Good... because the only one who knows is... Zane, Vylad, and Christi..."
He nodded, "Exactly. And my brothers swore on their lives that they would keep it secret."
I giggled lightly with a smile, "Alright." We continued talking for a few more minutes before he sighed.
"Well, what movie did you want to watch?" He softly asked, picking me up and setting me on the couch.
I bit my lip, crossing my arms lightly, thinking. There were movies that we had already watched, movies that were for younger kids, and others aimed for older ages.
"I want to watch one of the kid's movies but... if you don't want to..." I looked at him softly.
He smiled, "Well, which one would you like?"
I tilted my head as I looked at him before smiling, "Tangled?"
Garroth chuckled, "Coming right up, girly." He gently pecked my lips before getting up and walking towards the disc player.
I went into the kitchen to grab the popcorn, humming lightly, putting it into the microwave.
It was a few moments before I felt a gentle hand take mine and spin me around. I gasped in surprise, looking up at the person, which I figured it was Garroth.
He was smiling before gently pulling my hand up a little way, gently lowering his head down and kissing it. The act made me start to blush, something obviously up. He smiled, "I'll get everything. You go sit down." He softly said.
"Oh? So, I'm going to be the princess that has the knight doing everything for her?" I said softly, raising a brow, but I couldn't help but smile at my own dumb joke.
"Yes, you are." He smiled before suddenly picking me up, "You're Rapunzel, and I'm Flynn. But I'm doing something for you and you can't hit me with a frying pan."
I giggled softly, "No promises on that, buddy."
He let out a gentle laugh before setting me down and had me go back to the living room. I sighed quietly, sitting on the couch, looking around the room lightly. It was a few more minutes before he came back with a bowl and sat down next to me.
I looked at him with a soft giggle, smiling before scooting closer. He smiled as he pulled his arm around my waist and pulled me closer.
Garroth started the movie, it starting to go late into the night. Around 11:15(or 23:15 for those on the 24-hour scale) was when Christine texted me, saying that Lillian was asleep and that she was going to stay in her room, just in case. I smiled, texting her the 'okay', setting my phone down again.
I had set the bowl down since it was empty before curling up closer to him. It was only about half an hour into the movie before I started to feel tired. I shook off the sleepiness, still watching. The sleepy feeling started to wear off after a few minutes when something excited finally started to happen. Garroth watched me, ignoring the movie at the point when I was on the edge of the couch, giggling at it.
I know I'm super childish with movies but seriously, I can't sit still right now...
It was a few more minutes before I finally just sat down, watching still. Garroth's gentle laugh made me look his way, "Wha?"
He smiled, "Nothing. You just look excited." He softly said.
"Well, duh. I am excited!" I giggled, moving to face him with a bright smile plastered across my face. He chuckled, "Could you turn around?" He randomly asked.
I rolled my eyes softly as I looked away, "Not wanna look at me or something?" I said in a light tone, smiling still.
"Not exactly." His voice suddenly got closer before his hands grabbed my waist, my skin tensing from sensitivity before my body was pulled back. I gasped, completely blind on what was happening behind me.
It was just a moment before he smiled, "Remember this?" He softly asked.
My head turned to look at him, him leaning back, my back against his chest before I giggled, "This?"
He nodded softly, "This."
"Yeah. You did this... six or seven years ago... when..." I tilted my head, looking at him softly.
"When Lillian was expected..." He finished my sentence with a smile. A giggle erupted into my throat before I leaned back on him, smiling.
He held his arms around me, smiling, the rest of the movie playing. I softly yawned again, leaning my head back, his head just above mine.
"Sleepy, girly?" He softly said, looking at me.
I didn't really answer, my eyes softly closing. Garroth gently chuckled, "Goodnight, (n/n)..." He softly whispered before everything half just cut off in sleep.
Yeah.... It's not as long I thought it would be but, yeah. Like I said last chapter, this is just a small filler for you all so, you aren't waiting almost a full month for a chapter to come out (like I had previously done for... months. XD) Anyway... I hope you guys enjoy this, and I will see you all later!
Bai!
