Chapter 14: Early... isn't Good.
Christine/Lia
"Yeah, mom... I'm doing fine," I said softly as I sat on my bed in the dorm, "No, I haven't talked to any guys. Chill out..."
My parents were so annoying sometimes. First they say they want me to be careful, then they don't. It's an endless cycle of do and don't.
"Alright, I gotta go for class. Talk to you later," She said something about before I smiled, "Bye."
I turned my phone ringer down before grabbing my book bag and went to go to class.
I heard rapid footsteps going towards me before someone's body clashed into mine. I gasped, falling down.
The girl that ran into me was on the ground too, her raven hair looking at me. She frowned, "Watch where you're going," She said.
It was my turn to frown, "You hit me."
She rolled her eyes as she stood up. She was at least half a foot shorter than I was.
I got up quietly, walking to grab my phone that was a few feet away.
She rolled her eyes, "Phones aren't more important than peers," She said as she ran off again.
I watched for a moment, "A simple 'sorry' would have sufficed," I mumbled before heading to class again.

"So... Like this," Christy asked, showing me the French braid in Lillian's hair.
I smiled, "Yup!"
Christy smiled. "Nice, it looks bad though," She said softly, frowning to herself.
I sighed with a light giggle in my throat, "It looks fine from my point of view."
Christy sighed with a laugh, "Alright," She trailed off in her words, slightly biting her lip.
I was confused, "Are you okay," I asked, walking over to her.
Lillian moved so I could sit beside her. She was a little nervous for why Christy was looking in pain.
"I'm perfectly fine," Christy strained to say, closing her eyes lightly, "It's just a dumb contraction..."
I nodded in understanding. I bit my lip, "How far along are you again?"
"U-Um... Six, Se-Seven months," She questioned, obvious pain showing.
I was slightly worried. Yeah, contractions are agonizing but, they don't last long periods of time. I softly looked at Lilli, "Go get daddy please," I softly said.
Lillian was frozen. She looked at Christy, scared. I said it again, but sterner, "Lillian... Go get your dad," She looked at me before running to the other rooms.
We're at Aaron's house... Where would they be?
Christy groaned softly, it not stopping apparently. There was nothing I could do, not ever being in this type of contraction situation.
I looked at her, "Christy... Can you stand up," I softly asked, the only logical thing happening rang in my head.
Christy nodded before attempting. She tightly held my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry if this makes you uncomfortable but," I slowly reached my hand down between her legs. I felt something and my eyes widened.
"Garroth! Aaron," I yelled, looking at the way Lillian had gone.
Christy could stand anymore but I kept her up, "You can't sit down. Not right now," I said.
"What's happening," Christy whimpered, looking at me.
I looked at her, having to be truthful. I bit my lip, "You, are in labor."
Garroth
Lillian came to get us and I heard (y/n) tellping for us.
Aaron was beside me as Lillian ran into the room.
(y/n) was standing there, Christy standing in front of her, holding (y/n)'s shoulder, and (y/n)'s in an awkward position.
"What's going on," I asked, looking at them.
(y/n) didn't look at me, "Get her to a hospital," was all she said.
Aaron was confused before he went over and slowly picked Christy up carefully.
(y/n) looked at him as I walked over, "That baby is coming right now. She can't sit or the baby will be crushed.."
Aaron bit his lip before nodding. He ran out with Christy.
I softly touched (y/n)'s shoulder, feeling the finger marks from Christy, "Christy's..."
She looked at me and nodded softly, "Yeah. She is..."
A wave of nervousness went through me. I looked at her. Shoot... What if... this happens with (y/n) soon...
She was nervous as heck before she picked up Lillian, "Do you know if someone can watch her," She asked softly as she looked at me.
I thought for a moment, "Who would you rather have watch her?"
"I don't know..."
I nodded quietly, "I guess Laurance and Cadenza it is," I said softly.
(y/n) nodded before we both went out to my car and got in, going to take her there and then go where (y/n) needs us to...
At The Hospital: (y/n)
Garroth and I weren't allowed in the room. I was nervous as heck, but I knew it was nothing compared to the other three, "It's too early..."
Garroth paced back and forth, his hands in his hair, his eyes frantically looking at the floor ahead before at the door and back at the floor.
I walked over to him, "Garroth," I said softly.
He looked at me, quiet.
"She'll be okay," I reassured.
Garroth looked at the door again. He sighed impatiently, "It's been two hours since they've told us anything..."
"I know but, these things take some time," I softly said, "Don't stress out about it."
He nodded quietly. I smiled softly before gently hugging him. He worriedly out his chin on my shoulder, looking behind me. Garroth softly hugged back, making me try to comfort his fear.
After a few minutes there was indistinct talking before the door opened, a small plastic box on on a gurney-type thing rushed down the hall, nurses surrounding the two sides.
From the inside of the room, there was just crying.
Garroth rushed into the room with me in tow.
Christy was on the hospital bed, one arm gripping the side. She was the one crying, Aaron gently rubbed her hand, not able to do much to calm her down.
The baby was no where in sight.
"She's gone... They took her," Christy choked, tears running down her face, "It's too early, she wasn't breathing," She sobbed, her upper body shaking as she cried.
I went over to her and tried to help her into a more comfortable position, the way she was laying was painful.
"They got her breathing just before they got her out but, she is really small..." Aaron said softly.
Garroth and I looked at him as Christy cried harder.
"She has a five percent chance of survival."
