Chapter 13: What Brothers Are For...
Christina
After yesterday talking to Aaron... I need to talk to (y/n) and my brother...
I sighed as I walked to the apartment, Garroth saying he would meet up there... (y/n) lives there so... She's already waiting.
A few girls sneered at me as they walked passed me, they knew me, even though I didn't know them.
"Hey. Back Off." A half low voice said to the girls, making them walk off.
I looked over and saw Aaron coming up.
"Hey..." I softly said.
He smiled. "Hey... You alright?"
I quietly nodded. "Yeah. I'm just going to (y/n)'s..."
He nodded gently with a smile. "Ah."
"What about you?" I asked curiously.
"I was at the ice cream parlor with my sis." He said softly.
I smiled. "Cool."
We walked across the street. "Do you mind if I come with you?" Aaron asked.
I shook my head lightly. "I don't." I smiled lightly.
He chuckled before wrapping an arm around my shoulders, making me giggle. "Stop making me feel short."
"Why not? Your shortness is adorable."
I looked away and blushed before elbowing his side. "Shut up."
He laughed lightly before we got to the apartment building.
I looked at my phone for Alaina's room number. 1987... All the way up to the top...
I shuddered lightly before going into the elevator and pressing the 19th floor button.
He leaned against the wall quietly, fixing the bandana on his eyes.
I frowned. "Why do you still wear that." I said.
He shrugged. "The last time I took it off, for a Romeo&Juliet audition... Freaking everyone fainted." Aaron said.
I burst into a fit of giggles. "Dude... That's cute though." I said before walking over. "Besides... They sparkle."
He slightly blushed at the statement, making me giggle. "So... Please?" I asked him.
He looked at me and sighed with a chuckle. "Alright..."
He hesitated before taking it off.
I smiled. "You look a lot better that way honestly." I softly said to him.
He smiled at me.
I giggled lightly as I took the bandana from his hands. "How do you even see out of it..." I said quietly, holding it up to my own face.
He chuckled before sliding it on my face, making me sputter. "Whoaaaaa... Everything is red..."
He laughed lightly. "Yup."
I giggled before taking it off. "Cool..."
The elevator dinged when we reached the floor. I bit my lip as we walked out.
He stayed close to me as we walked down the hall.
I saw a little girl sitting in front of a door.
(y/n) said she would have her daughter Lillian waiting outside of their room.
"Lillian?" I asked.
The girl's head looked up. She giggled before running over to me. "Auntie Chrissy!" She giggled before hugging my legs.
"Hey Sweetie pie." I smiled as I squatted down as well as I could to hug her.
She smiled before looking up at Aaron.
"Unkie Aaron!" She giggled.
Aaron chuckled. "Hey, Lilli." He said softly.
Lillian giggled. "Momma and Daddy have been waiting. Come on!" She giggled as she grabbed both of our hands and started leading us to her apartment.
I smiled as I followed with Aaron.
I felt a contraction, making me slightly slow down for a minute.
Lillian giggled. She slowed down slightly. We got to their room just as the contractions stopped. Good.
Lillian hung on the doorknob as she tried to open it.
I giggled as she got it open and brought us inside.
(y/n) and my brother looked over and smiled. "Hey You two."
I smiled. "Hey, (y/n)."
She smiled before walked over and hugging me gently. She moved her head close to my ear. "How's the baby?" She asked with a smile.
I giggled quietly. "She's doing great."
(y/n) giggled. "Good."
Aaron chuckled as Garroth and him did this weird bro hug thing...
I don't know what guys do. Chill.
I giggled when I looked at them.
(y/n) looked confused of why Aaron was with me but, she didn't seem to question it.
"Hey Lilli? Why don't you go Skype Auntie Teresa? She's waiting." (y/n) gently said.
"Okay momma!" She smiled as she skipped into her mother's room.
Aaron and Garroth looked to us.
(y/n) smiled. "Hey... You go sit and I'll get something for you I have." She said softly.
I softly nodded before Garroth, Aaron, and I went over to the living room.
Garroth sat in one of the chairs and Aaron sat next to me.
(y/n) sorry it's been so long not in yours guys!
I walked over to the closet, taking out some of my old pregnancy clothes she could wear.
I won't need them for a while since, they're for six month through nine.
I smiled as I brought the bag out and set it by her feet. "Here ya go." I smiled.
She looked up at me. "Thanks, (n/n)." She smiled gently.
"You're welcome, girly." I smiled before sitting on the arm of the recliner Garroth was sitting in. "So... What do you want to tell us?"
Christy took a sharp breath, looking scared to tell.
I saw Aaron gently touch her hand.
Obviously Garroth tensed up.
It took everything in me to not laugh.
Christy looked at Garroth and I.
"Well... You'd have to see something before I start..." Christy said softly as she looked down.
I was confused before she pulled her sleeves up.
Garroth went pale in the face. "Christy..." His voice broke slightly, looking at his sister.
Christy softly nodded. "Yeah..." She softly said before pulling her sleeves back down. "I started doing that... Sophomore year." She said softly. "When you left the house... And... momma and dad were never home Because of work..." She started.
"I felt alone since Vylad and Zane stuck together like glue and left me out of everything... Then... The crash a few weeks later made me feel even worse because everyone was paying attention to me." Christy explained. "It was actually the hospital that I met Mark. He found out about my cutting and... He told me that he would help me out...
"He was a huge sweetheart but... I started to learn Senior year... Because he was a freshman in college that year... That he and his friends would drink. A lot..." Christy sighed as she looked down.
"One night... I had gone with him because it was his birthday... The night right after school ended. Just... I was distracted for a minute by someone yelling and... Then when I turned around, he just kissed me.
"The only thing that scared me was the fact that he brought me up to his room. I never got scared so he just made fun of me. And... Then he kept telling me 'I love you', 'let's do this'. 'don't worry, I know what I'm doing'." Christy said.
"I had never been exposed to something like that. When he started trying to do it to me, I just started screaming at him to stop and crying. He kept going and going no matter what I said... Then at some point... I passed out from lack of air from screaming so much and..." Christy stopped for a moment.
"I found myself in a field, outside of town, with all of my things and other stuff around me... I knew what had happened and I just... Cried. I grabbed my phone and called Laurance's sister Cadenza to come get me..." Christy said as she fiddled with her fingers.
"Ever since... About a month later I found out of my pregnancy... I was fired from my job at the cafe because of it, and, Cadenza has been helping me with money and everything with that until I can get a new job..." Christy finished that part before Continuing.
I listened along with Garroth and Aaron. I felt bad for her.
Her life had gone so well, then had gone down.
Christy looked at us after about fifteen minutes of talking. "I didn't tell Aaron this part because... You all should hear it at the same time..."
I looked at Her.
"I'm a grenade." Christy said softly, her voice waivering.
Garroth and Aaron just looked at her confused.
I got the reference but was so confused.
"One momeny I'm gonna be here just like you see me... The next I'll be gone. And destroy everything in my path. No matter how much we try to prepare... All I will do is just destroy all the progress and disappear." Christy said.
Aaron looked at her. "You can't do that though... You wouldn't be able to..."
"I will." Christy looked up at him. "I did before, but that was a warning..."
I walked over to her. I softly touched her shoulder before hugging her. "No... You aren't going to... No matter what you say, think, or do.... We won't leave you."
Christy softly bit her lip before hugging me back.
Garroth was quiet. "Christy..."
I let go of her so Garroth could talk to her. "Look... I know I haven't been around to help for a long time... But... You know I'm always here... I want to be a better brother... And that involves you telling me about this..."
Christy had tears starting to glisten her eyes. "Okay..." She whispered.
Garroth smiled as he hugged his sister brotherly, being careful.
Christy softly started crying, hugging him back.
Aaron and I smiled. Maybe... Maybe I'll tell her in a little bit. It'll help her more than she thinks..."
To be Continued.
Small a/n.
I want everyone to know that this is an original story I made up that, I don't want destructive criticism on. I say this because... I know people like Aarmau. To be honest... I did too. But, I've moved on from it. And... To make this story more original and mine, I have a character who is unique (though very depressed most of the time) that likes him.
I want to say, she did not break Aarmau. She KNEW that was a thing. you know who did? Aaron.
You heard me gals. Aaron killed Aarmau. He told her first that he liked her. THEN CC did.
Sorry if that is a killjoy to you all but, it's fairly true.
:)
So... On the light note... Happy New Year guys!
