I woke up early Wednesday morning, getting some gym clothes on for my workout as I headed into my workout room with my water bottle in hand. I put my headphones in & put my playlist on shuffle, starting off with "Come And Get It" before starting my workout.

TIMESKIP TO AFTER THE WORKOUT

I took a quick shower to cool off after my workout, then I headed to the kitchen to fix me a quick salad before sitting down at the kitchen table. I quickly finished eating before starting to do some chores around the house, washing the dishes, taking out the garbage, etc. Afterwards, I sat down in my room & opened my Monster before turning on my PlayStation & playing some games to waste some time.

Skip ahead about 2 hours...

After I finished, it was about 1 hour before I had to get to the arena, so I got dressed & grabbed my bag before getting in my car. Then, I started driving to the arena while listening to my playlist which was now playing "I Disappear" by one of my favorite & one of, if not the greatest bands Metallica.

Arriving to the Arena...

As I headed inside I heard my name being called out from behind, turning around to see none other than Austin.

Austin: "Look who's in a hurry."

Ethan: "You know I like getting stuff done early."

Austin: "It's not hard to see, either."

Ethan: *laughing* "Shut up."

We hugged before heading inside & chatting it up before I headed to my locker room & putting my stuff up. Shortly after heading back to where Austin was, my eyes glazed over something that made me freeze in place...

Seeing me frozen in awe, Austin walked behind me & slapped my shoulder to snap me back to reality & almost into a heart attack.

Austin: "What'cha doing there buddy?"

Ethan: "I was about to knock your ass out if I didn't stop myself! Fuck, dude!"

As Austin was laughing hysterically for what seemed like hours, I walked off towards Demi who was also with Toni.

(With Demi & Toni)

Toni (to Demi): "There's your lover Dem, better go get him!"

Demi: "Oh, shut up!"

Ethan: "Hey ladies!"

Demi: "Hey, Ethan!"

Toni: "Hey lovebird #2~"

Demi's face turned tomato red immediately, which I have to admit, was kinda adorable...

Demi: "Toni!"

Toni: "What? You expect me not to take a chance to tease you too?"

Ethan: "She's got a point, Dem..."

Demi: "Yeah, true.."

Toni: "I actually have to go do some stuff so I'll just excuse myself if you don't mind..."

Toni running away leaving the two of us there alone by ourselves, granted, the rest of the roster was there too but you get the point.

Ethan: "So, how've you been?"

Demi: "I've been wonderful! I've been looking forward to our date!"

Ethan: "I'm glad you feel just as good as you look. I'm looking forward to it too, trust me."

Demi, realizing she was starting to blush a little, tried to cover it with her jacket.

Ethan: "What's wrong, Dem?"

Demi: "N-Nothing."

Ethan: "You sure you're not blushing or anything?" (grinning)

Demi: *giggling* "Shut up, you!"

She smacked me on the arm to which I laughed as I didn't expect that reaction from her.

Ethan: "And what if I don't, huh?"

Demi: "I'll find a way to make you shut up~"

She said with a smirk, which made my smile fade quickly.

Ethan: "That caught me off guard..."

Demi: "I can tell, you look like a tomato. Looks like you're not the only one who can make people blush, huh?"

Ethan: *laughing* "Piss off... I gotta go get ready for my promo."

Demi: "I'll be watching."

30 Minutes Later...

Wade: "Looks like we're about to hear from the NEW! NXT North American Champion: Ethan Wilde."

Mauro: "There has to be a million things on this man's mind after an absolute war last week against Adam Cole, that's for sure."

Ethan: "Y'know... Out of all of the championships I've won in my career so far... I gotta tell ya, this one here means a hell of a lot more than the others."

Ethan: "And to think that I only won this championship a week after debuting here in NXT... I could sit here & brag all night but that's not who I am... Unlike, let's say for example, Adam Cole."

Beth: "Calling out the very man who he beat last week to win the North American Championship."

Mauro: "I don't think that won't go unanswered for long though!"

Adam: "Ethan... Me & you both know that the only reason you ever won last week is because it was a First Blood match."

Ethan: "Oh, so you're saying that I couldn't beat you if it was a regular match? Although, thats the same way I even got the First Blood match in the first place?"

Adam: "No, I'm just saying that you couldn't beat me in a regular match with the championship on the line."

Wade: "A very brave statement from Cole, but one that Wilde could easily prove wrong."

Ethan: "Trust me, I'm not just a deathmatch guy. I can get technical if I need to. You want your rematch then you got it... Next week, me and you, in a one on one match for the North American Championship."

Mauro: "Ethan Wilde accepting Cole's challenge for a rematch with the North American Championship on the line. But will Ethan still be the champ after next week?"
