(The day after winning the NA Championship...)

I was getting dressed for this "meeting" with Demi. I didn't really like getting all dressed up to meet someone because if I didn't like someone, I would tell them straight to their face. This wasn't much of a special event either, so I decided to dress like normal for me.

I put on some cologne before heading outside my house and texting Toni like the note said to do. I got to my car just as I got a text back.

Toni:
Demi told me to tell you that one thing she has to tell you is really important to her so please pay full attention

Me:
I will, trust me. Where are we meeting at?

Toni:
100 Rosearden Dr, Dickson Azalea Park

Me:
Thanks Toni

Toni:
No problem mate

I started heading that way, stopping at the convience store to get a can of Monster and a bag of Takis. I continued on the way there after I put on my playlist starting with Du Hast.

After a few minutes I made it to the park which was surprisingly almost empty making it easier for me to find Demi. I didn't really have to look much though as she came up behind  me.

Demi: Hey mate.

Ethan: Hey Demi...

I tried not to react much but on the inside I was taken off guard by how good she looked then and there.

Ethan: You look nice today.

Demi: You look pretty good too.

Ethan: Should we sit down on a bench or?

Demi: Yeah.

We sat down on the bench and I put my stuff down beside it as I turned back to her as she started asking a few questions about me, before getting to the important part Toni was talking about.

Demi: *deep breath* So this question is really important...

Ethan: Hit me with it.

Demi: Would you like to go on a date with me next week?

I did know it would come sooner or later but it still caught me off guard at the time, nonetheless, it took me a second to gather the words to answer her.

Ethan: Of course. Ever since I layed my eyes on you I couldn't keep you off my mind. I was waiting for a chance to ask you the same thing but you beat me to it.

I normally didn't act this way to someone who I liked in the past but this time I don't know what is was but something about it triggered me to do this.

Demi: Really?..

Ethan: Yes... I can't be the only person who thinks that way either. You're smile makes me melt everytime I get to see it, and I would be the happiest man ever if I could see that smile everyday I wake up for the rest of my life...

Demi: Wow. I never would've thought I would hear anyone, let alone you, say that to me. Especially given your past...

Ethan: And I thought someone would've already taken you from me but here we are.

Demi: *giggles and blushes*

Ethan: Did I see that right?

Demi: What?

Ethan: It looked to me like you were blushing.

I grinned as she covered her cheeks and smiled before we talked for 15 more minutes or so before we said our farewells and went on our seperate ways. I got in and started my car before playing the next song in my playlist, which was...

I took a sip of my Monster as I backed out and started my way back to my house...

As I got through the door I took off my shoes before heading to the kitchen to cook me a bowl of Tonkotsu Ramen.

I take it into my gaming room as I got into a Discord call with Austin before I turned on my PlayStation.

Ethan: There you are Chugs!

Austin: What's got you all pumped up tonight man? You're never like this.

Ethan: I'll tell you when we're done playing some games and after I eat my ramen.

Austin: Ok, but don't think I won't be trying to figure it out while we're playing.

Ethan: You can try.

(Around 15 minutes and Austin losing later...)

Ethan: Yes! Let's go bay bay!

Austin: Oh wow, stealing catchphrases now are we?

Ethan: Obviously.

Austin: Well now that were done playing... you gotta tell me.

Ethan: Right to it, okay then.

Austin: You should know me by now.

Ethan: True. So... me and Demi have a date...

Austin: Boom! That's what I was waiting on!

Ethan: You better not keep fucking with me about that though!

Austin: Like I said again, you should know me by now.

Ethan: I can't get anywhere with you man.

I said laughing as I ended the call and headed to bed for the night, of course, thinking about the date next week...
