Missing

Kelly and Gabriel were being held in a room at one of the rebel bases. Aiden and Anthony had to stay at the base as well. They couldn't be seen. Then people would know they helped capture the two siblings.

So everyone was pretending those two were being held hostage as well.

Demands

Two days after the attack, they sent someone. He arrived while everyone was eating breakfast, or...pretending to. He demanded an audience with the king and royal family immediately. He didn't care that the Selected were in the dining room as well.

So he entered the room with a dark grin. "My apologies for interrupting your meal, but I think you'll want to here what I have to say."

He approached the tables, and immediately the guards' guns were raised, aimed at him.

He held his hands up, rolling his eyes. "Guys, I've already been searched. And if you hurt me, you can say goodbye to Kelly and Gabriel."

After a quick nod from King Tobias, the guards lowered their guns, and the rebel let his arms fall to his sides and continued toward the tables. "Ladies, you're all looking great." He winked before looking at the male Selected.

"Oh, you're Grant," he said to one. "Kelly's mentioned you." He continued walking. "And Gabriel has mentioned you, Johnathan," he said as he passed him. He finally stopped in front of the royals' table. Everyone was tense, watching him closely.

"Relax, Princess Amara. Your children aren't hurt," he said. He returned his attention back to the king. "I think we should talk in private, your majesty."

He looked at the royals. "Just the king and queen, please." Amara opened her mouth to object, but the rebel beat her to it: "Alright, your highnesses, you can come along too." He said to Roman and Amara.

It didn't take long for the five to exit the room. Everyone was silent.
