Adrien paced around his room thinking while his kwami watched him in annoyance while wating Camamberet.

"Kid stop being annoying. What's wrong with the quiet kid liking Ladybug?"

"Im supposed to be with her!!!" He whined.

Plagg sighed, "humans are so complicated."

Adrien knew his kwami would be of no use, but then he remembered, Ladybug didn't belong to him, she was free to like anyone she wanted. And if her crush liked her back he shouldn't be getting in the way.

He lied on his bed in sadness while Plagg just rolled his eyes.

Tikki asked, "are you alright Marinette?"

The pig-tailed girl was on the verge of tears, she couldn't believe that her alter ego just had to be the one that captured Nathaniel's heart. "Yes Tikki... I am. I just can't believe my plan of finally getting iver Adrien failed..."

"Maybe this is a good thing! Nathaniel must like Ladybug for her strong personality! Maybe you should try to be like her!"

Marinette sighed, "but I can't. I'm just me. Plain old Marinette"

Tikki flew in front of her face, "Marinette! You and Ladybug are the same person! You are her with or without the mask! You just gotta act like it!"

Marinette then felt her confidence boost with the kwami's encouraging words, "you know what Tikki. You might be right."
