CHAPTER 7

Arthit was practically jumping up and down on his feet as he roamed around his department for the final settings for their project. His face was glowing, his dimpled smile never leaving his face. The energy radiating from him could be felt by everyone on the department floor.

"Arthit you seem happy today," Earth smiled as they walked towards the meeting room.

They were going to present the project presentation.

"As if you don't know the reason P, Arent you happy that we will be getting a holiday soon!" Arthit gave a wide smile, it wasn't a lie though.

It's because of it that Arthit could go meet his lover, so indirectly he was happy for their project to end.

Earth chuckled along with the other colleagues as they nodded their heads, agreeing to what Arthit said. But little did they know that there was something more into their colleague's joy.

Arthit still felt guilty for declining Kongpob's request last night. He knows the younger is upset, he even felt it in their morning messages to eachother.

As always Kongpob had messaged him 'good morning' and along with that, he conveyed how he misses him. Arthit could already imagine the pout on his lover's lips.Arthit smiled to himself when he imagined the latter's face when he makes a surprise visit to him.

He can't wait to end this day already and spend the two weeks in his lover's arms.

"Kong, you ok? What happened?" Aim nudged their shoulders.

Kongpob glanced up to his friend and shrugged his shoulders as he focused on the notes he was reading.

"Really? You have been off the mood for a while. That's not our Kongpob at all," Prae added leaning on her chair as she stared at the head hazer.

"It's nothing guys, nothing to worry about," Kongpob gave a small smile to his friends who rolled their eyes.

They very well knew that something was up with their friend.

"Come on, Kong! It's not the first day we're seeing you. We realize it if our friend isn't the same as other days. So, tell us. We're friends, right?" Tew placed a hand on the other's shoulder. The others nodded their head.

Kongpob sighed. Placing the pen in his hand down he crossed his arm against his chest. His friends waited for Kongpob to reply.

"I miss, P'Arthit."

A moment of silence from his friends Kongpob had to look at his friends who were blankly staring at him. He could only hear the noises of other students in the class.

Kongpob puffed his cheeks when he watched his friends suddenly fall into a fit of laughter.

"Why are you laughing? I am serious!"

The gang laughed harder at that.

"Kong! Really!?" Maprang wiped the tears in the corner of her eyes, trying to control her laughter.

"You guys are not helping!" Kongpob groaned.

Wad shook his head, "You could ask P'Arthit to come to visit you or you could go to his place. It's the weekend anyway. Speak to him about it."

"I know, I asked him about it but he's busy. He told me that we will meet some other day," Kongpob sighed.

The gang shared glanced at eachother. They understood how their friend was feeling. From the beginning of Kongpob and Arthit's relationship, they had been together, inseparable. Arthit was always there for Kongpob and the other way around. So they knew it might be hard for Kongpob to deal with the elder's absence. They knew their senior might be feeling the same too.

"P'Arthit is also feeling the same, Kong. He's in a new environment now. He has work to do and we should be able to understand that, right?" Tew smiled at Kongpob.

Kongpob nodded, "I'm not upset about it, guys. I understand him, he had been working hard. I respect him. It's just that I miss him."

"Swadee kharp P, would you mind us having lunch here? There are no other benches free," Khao Fang asked the seniors who were seated at their usual spot in the cafeteria.

Oak glanced around the cafeteria, it was pretty packed for the day and extremely noisy too.

"Sure, why not? There's plenty of space here. Com on," Kongpoib smiled at the group of four juniors who waied at them.

He further asked the juniors to introduce themselves. The seniors kept the juniors entertained with their talks and soon the juniors found themselves being comfortable with them.

Simon found himself stealing glances at Kongpob who sat next to him. His heart was beating fast and he felt restless. He could smell the head hazer's cologne and he wondered what the other would smell up close. Hugging eachother.

He shook his head, clearing his throat. He reached his hand forward to take his drink on the table. His eyes widened when his fingers brushed across Kongpob's hand. He glanced at the senior and found him engrossed in the conversation everyone was having. A wide smile engraved on his lips.

Simon gulped, quickly taking his drink and gulping it down in a few sips. The latter's skin felt soo soft in his touch. Simon couldn't help but scream internally. If he had a chance to touch the other and feel his soft skin under him.

"So N'Simon, do you have a girlfriend?" Oak batted his eyebrows as he leaned his hand on the table.

Simon coughed, the spoon full of rice he had going down in the wrong direction. Kongpob immediately took the bottle of water he had for himself and passed it to the younger, patting the other's back as the latter coughed.

"Stop talking nonsense to the juniors, Oak" Kongpob glared at his friend while the others chuckled.

"Why? I just asked him if he has a girlfriend or not," Oak shrugged his shoulders, giving a teasing smile.

"I don't have a girlfriend P,'' Simon intertwined in between, giving a shy smile to the elders.

Kongpob shook his head when Oak pointed his hand at Simon declaring it was that simple.

But I can have a boyfriend if the other wishes to, Simon glanced at Kongpob, smiling wide.

"We have to leave now, our classes will start soon," Tew smiled at the juniors as they packed their bags.

The juniors waied at them, thanking them for letting them sit with them.

"P'Kongpob '' Simon called out before the elder walked away.

Kongpob halted on his steps, "Yes, N'Simon?"

"Thank you P, for the bottle of water."

"Welcome nong, it's my responsibility to take care of my juniors. If you guys need any help don't forget to let us know," Kongpob smiled, patting the other's shoulder.

"Sure P, Thank you," Simon smiled.

He watched as the elder walk away with his friends, joking and smiling with them. He sighed, he just needs one chance to get a grip on that handsome senior.

What should he do?

*****

Arthit took a deep breath, adjusting his bag on his shoulder he smiled warmly as he walked into the campus.

Finally, he was ready to spend the next two weeks with his boyfriend. He can't wait to see the expression on the younger's face when he surprises him.

He knew Kongpob's schedule for the day so it wasn't hard for him to find him. He would be either in the library with his friends or at the cafeteria having talks after a long day of classes.

Arthit decided to check the cafeteria first since it was closer than the library. And he took his time as he walked around the campus, smiling at the familiar places.

He even greeted few professors who recognized him, he instantly flushed when some of them enquired whether he was here to meet his boyfriend with teasing smiles on their lips, and Arthit could only let out a chuckle and nod his head.

Of course, the professors knew about their relationship, after Arthit declared about their relationship at the Thank you Party of the seniors the words blew out like a wildfire.

Arthit found himself breaking into a wide, dimpled smile when he spotted his boyfriend and his gang at the cafeteria. He walked closer, gripping on the strap of his bag eagerly. He frowned soon when he found some unknown faces at the table, he recognized that they were the first years from their uniforms.

The hazer team was tutoring for the first years. Arthit sighed as he moved aside and decided to observe the table. The cafeteria wasn't packed as much since it was evening, and the students were too focused on their works to notice him.

Arthit found himself glaring at the freshmen seated beside his lover, almost touching their shoulders together. He could clearly see the latter wasn't paying attention to what Kongpoib was tutoring but he had his eyes on Konbgpob, with a small smile on his lips as if he was admiring a jewel.

Arthit waited impatiently for the freshmen to leave. After what felt like hours he found them standing up and thanking the hazers. He could see that particular guy was lingering there a little more trying to talk with Kongpob who just politely answered his questions.

Arthit rolled his eyes when he watched the guy walked away, leaving the hazers behind.Arthit walked towards the table, trying his best to not let Kongpob find out that he was there.

He soon found himself standing behind Kongpob who was packing up things in his bag. His friends had already seen Arthit and they shared a knowing smile.

"Kongpob, did P'Arthit call you?" Wad found himself ask Kongpob with a teasing smile on his lips. The others giggling beside him.

Kongpob lifted his head to look at his friend, they were all standing up with their bags ready over their shoulders.

"No, he didn't. He is usually busy at this hour," he gave a small smile.

Kongpob stiffed when he found two arms circle his waist. The touch felt familiar and he could get the smell of the familiar cologne. He swiftly turned around, his eyes widened seeing the dimpled smile directed at him.

"P'Arthit!"

Kongpob had his mouth wide open, soon a smile made its way on his lips as he launched himself on his lover who laughed at the reaction. He circled his arms around the latter's shoulder as he buried his nose in the crook of his neck.

"Someone was missing his boyfriend," Arthit teased the younger, he smiled when Kongpob hugged him tighter.

"I missed you, P'Arthit," Kongpob bit his lips. He never expected to see his lover soo soon.

"I missed you too, Kong, now leave me your friends are here," Kongpob chuckled at the elder's words. He didn't want to let go but he's sure he'll reserve a set of teasing from his friends so he parted the hug.

"Someone is behaving like the wife now," Tew teased Kongpob who was acting like a wife who saw her husband after years and everyone laughed at it. They were glad that they wouldn't have to see their friend's gloomy looks anymore.

To their surprise, they saw Kongpob blushing, a shy smile on his lips as he dares not to make any eye contact with his friends. Arthit glanced at his lover when he didn't hear a response from him, he smirked when he found the latter flushed red.

"Hey, we should make a record! My boyfriend is blushing!"

Kongpob snapped his gaze towards his lover who winked at him. He gave a betrayed look to Arthit who laughed along with his friends. They were enjoying his state of dilemma.

"P'Arthit, why didn't you tell me that you were going to come?" Kongpob turned towards his lover as they walked towards the younger's dorm, surprise still evident on his face as he glanced at Arthit who chuckled at him.

Seeing how cute the younger looked, he had the glint in his eyes as if he got the moon in his hands.

"I couldn't have seen this look of yours if I had informed you earlier," Arthit batted his eyebrows.

Kongpob bit his lips, stopping himself from smiling too wide.

"And P why did you tease me in front of my friends?" Kongpob sulked.

"Come on Kong, let me use my chances! It's rare to see you blush like that, you tease me soo much too!" Arthit laughed at Kongpob's expression. Kongpob shook his head, pouting more.

Arthit watched the younger as they got inside Kongpob's room. He stepped inside first and leaned on the wall waiting for Kongpob to close the door.

As soon as Kongpob turned on his heels Arthit pulled Kongpob turned him and turned them around, pushing Kongpob to the wall as he captured the younger's lips,Kongpob was shocked but soon he slipped his hands around the elder's waist, responding to kiss as he tilted his head to the side for better access.

Nibbling onto each other's lips, they savored the taste that they missed soo much. Parting away in need of breath, they rested their foreheads together. Small smiles lingering on their lips.

"I really missed you, Kong," Arthit breathed heavily.

Kongpob smiled, "I missed you too my sunshine, a lot."

Parting away Kongpob chuckled seeing Arthit's cheeks flush red as he tried to avoid his gaze. Shaking his head he walked inside, placing his bag and Arthit's on the table before he proceeded to take a shower.

The elder just watched Kongpob from the side, not wanting to miss the tiny actions of the younger that fluttered his heart.

"Do you want to join, P?" Kongpob teased the elder, a smirk on his lisp.

"0062! If you don't want to sleep on the floor go take a shower!" Arthit glared at the younger who laughed at his lover as he entered the bathroom.

Arthit watched as the younger come out of the bathroom, his towel around his neck as he wore a full sleeve t-shirt and shorts.

"Kong, come here," Kongpob looked up at his lover in confusion before he walked towards the latter who sat on the bed.

Kongpob's eyes widened when he was suddenly pulled down to sit in between the elder's legs, he smiled when Arthit started to dry his hair with the towel around his neck.

"Kongpob, how many times have I told you to dry your hair properly? You'll get sick," Arthit shook his head as he focused on drying the younger's hair.

Kongpob just sat there in silence as he savored the feeling of the affectionate elder. He smiled into the touch, he had missed this soo much and he knows Arthit did too.

After drying his hair, Arthit stood up to take a shower while Kongpob proceeded to set the table for their dinner. They just worked in the silence, the silence was enough for them to understand themselves and the love that they shared. The subtle glances and smiles were what overwhelmed their hearts.

Settling down to eat after Arthit came out of the shower, Kongpob stole a few glances at the elder. The latter hadn't told about the reason behind his sudden arrival, and it was making Kongpob impatient. He doesn't know why.

"P' Arthit, will you go back on Sunday or Monday? I know that you're busy, you didn't have to come if you were P."

"No Kongpob, I will be here with you for 2 weeks."

Kongpob's eyes widened staring at the man in front of him who played blind to his reaction as he ate his dinner. "Really P!? Please don't joke!"

Arthit looked up and chuckled, shaking his head. "Do you think I'm joking, Kong?"

Kongpob smiled, shaking his head.

"The project we had been working on had finally completed so the company gave us a 2 weeks holiday. They have to renew the office too, so that added to it," Arthit explained.

"Oh, I see. I'll take a few days' holiday too P, to spend time with you."

Arthit glared at Kongpob, pointing the spoon in his hand to the younger. "Don't you dare 0062! I'm here for 2 weeks and you can see me anytime you want, you're going to be a fourth-year senior soon, Don't skip classes."

Kongpob chuckled, he knew there was no use in arguing with the elder when it came to his studies. "But, I'll miss you!"

"No buts! We can meet anytime you want, I can come to the campus too."

"Okay P," Kong nodded, acting as if he was disappointed.

Arthit sighed as he stared at his lover who was focusing on the food on his plate. He knew the latter was disappointed because he couldn't spend more time with him.

Setting his utensils aside he crossed his arm on the table, "Okay, how about this? I'll come over during lunch and will come to pick you up from campus too."

Kongpob looked up with a wide smile, nodding his head vigorously, "Yes P! Thank you!"

Arthit chuckled, his boyfriend was such a kid sometimes.

Finishing their meals, they found themselves in their bed, in each other's embrace. Listening to the rhythm of their breathing.

"Kong, who was that freshman who sat beside you at the cafeteria?" Arthit suddenly asked, his fingers playing with Kongpob's hair.

Kongpob was confused for a second before he registered what the elder said, "Oh yeah, that's N'Simon. They came to ask for help with calculus. Why did you ask, P?"

"Oh, nothing. Just asked," Arthit knew that he was lying but he doesn't want to ruin their precious time so he just left it.

Kongpob wanted to ask what was really bothering his P but he decided against it.

"P'Arthit, I missed you so much. I don't want to leave you, ever," Kongpob leaned to press a kiss on the other's forehead.

" I missed you too, Kongpob. You know that whatever it is, my love for you will never fade. I might not express it always but, I hope you know. Even if I'm at work, my heart is always with you, Kong."Arthit smiled, cupping the younger's cheek in his palm.

The lights were off and the moonlight from the balcony fell upon their face. The elder moved closer as he pressed his lips against the younger.

Kongpob couldn't ask for more, it was the second time his P was initiating intimacy between them. The distance they had, changed the perspective of Arthit's view. And Kongpob is glad, he loved Arthit as who he was.

"Good night Kong, sleep well," Arthit snuggled closer after they broke the kiss.

Kongpob smiled, closing his eyes as he circled his arm around the elder's waist. "Good night, P."
