This fall with the start of my kids starting school I started working on a story about a young Regan and Prince as well as the rest of Prince's entourage called Almost Famous. I got the inspiration for this story from another fellow writer and soldier of the purple army PurplePyramid and the story Skipper's Heartbeat. I fell in love with the concept of a young Prince pre fame so much that I decided to do my own story that took place before Pop Life and also do a collaboration chapter! I wasn't too sure how we'll received the story would do considering I've never really done a backstory before. It's still a work in progress and it takes a lot of effort to put out a chapter that takes place in the 70's especially when you're an 80's baby who was raised on 90's television and really good music.

I didn't let the challenge stop me because I knew with the help of my girl Regan in my corner I had a feeling I could pull it off. So far with a a read count of just over 3K it's done pretty well. I took a small break from it due to the upcoming end of Unchained and wanted to focus more of my attention and energy on making sure that the flow of the story tied into the next installment of Growing Up Nelson. Don't worry I didn't forget about Famous I have plans to work on it soon along side Nelson 3. Sometimes I have to mentally prepare myself for that particular era because I can do a lot with it. With the ideas I have for the story line it may turn out to be a two book series. Young Regan is sassy!
