Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful day and a great weekend! (✿◠‿◠)

I had the thought to talk about the ocean since it is summertime and I really love the ocean and have been dying to talk about it! What better place to express my love for the ocean than here? 

There are so many reasons why the ocean is my favorite place, but I'll just list my top 5. 

~1~ Calm and Chill Vibes 

I love the calmness you feel when you step foot on the sandy beach and look out at the never-ending ocean water. I feel like that's where I belong and hours can go by where I just stand on the beach and look at the ocean, and it won't even feel like time is going by. Besides, you can sit and relax at the ocean with a book on the sand for as long as you want.

~2~ Marine Wildlife

My favorite animals are usually marine wildlife, my all-time favorite animal being the orca whale, and a bunch of other favorites being marine animals. They are all so cool and different in their own ways, and it is always breath-taking when you get to see a marine animal in their natural habitat. For example, at the beach I go to, I usually see dolphins close to the shore!

~3~ Fun, Fun, Fun! 

The beach and ocean is usually associated with fun times. Getting together with friends, playing around in the water, making sandcastles, all fun things are usually near the ocean! 

~4~  Ocean Aesthetic

I love nautical and oceanic aesthetics! Ocean décor, ocean colors, ocean accessories, even ocean clothing, I love it all! It makes me feel adventurous and yet at peace, which is a weird combination, but that's what the ocean aesthetic does to me. I also love the beach aesthetic, of walking around in a sundress, eating an ice cream, walking by the boardwalk with the ocean in the background. Or even on a cold, winter day all bundled up, walking by the cold ocean and sipping a hot coffee as you breathe in the sweet scent of the sea. Yeah, I love it!

~5~ Memories

Some of my best memories are from the ocean. Spending time with my loved ones at a place that I love on a peaceful morning, sitting a couple feet away from an amazing wonder, just puts me in such a good mood. It also gives me fond memories to look back on when I'm feeling down and want to revisit a good time in my life. I hope I get to make many more memories at the ocean that I can look back on with joy.
