The Only Girl? Pt. 2

I blinked a couple times before I started to notice the boys looking at me with concern. "Are you okay, Jiwoo?" I heard Jaebeom ask. I fell out of my daze and focused on them again. "I'm sorry, I guess I'm just in shock." I took another look at my surroundings, landing on Jaebeom once again. "Are you POSITIVE that this is Young Forever?" Jaebeom gave her a kind smile. "At least that was the name on my callback slip." I smiled back at him and chuckled a little bit. "Well, now that we're all together, why don't we introduce ourselves?" Jaebeom suggested, gesturing to the boys behind him. They all nodded somewhat and stepped out from behind him.

A tall boy stepped out towards me and bowed. "Hello! I'm Park Jihoo, nice to meet you." His brown hair fell in front of his face, giving me a good look at the golden streaks that ran through it. "Nice to meet you, Jihoo." I bowed back to him. His beautiful hazel eyes glinted in the lighting, and his pearly whites shone brilliantly. He definitely had braces as a kid, or just got incredibly lucky in the gene pool.

"I'm Kim Jeonghyeuk, nice to meet you." Another boy, a bit taller than Jihoo, stood in the corner of the room. He had been checking his phone a bit earlier and perked up when he heard that we were greeting one another. His black as night hair was positioned perfectly on top of his head, a little quaff sticking up from the top. His brown eyes suited his creamy skin and full lips. He didn't move from his corner, but gave me a small wave. I reciprocated that just in time before he turned his attention back to his phone.

A boy sat down on the floor, stretching out his legs, turned his head around to look at me. "I guess it's my turn, huh? Hiya, I'm Lee Taehoon!" His dyed blonde hair was contrasted only with the brown tips at the end of them, meeting very close to his round, brown eyes. "I'm one of the main dancers of the group, so if you have any dancing questions, please feel free to ask me." He winked at me and gave me a peace sign before stretching out his left calf. "Thanks, I'll have to take you up on that." I wasn't the best dancer, and could definitely use some help in that area.

I turned back and met face to face with another boy. "I'm the final member of the group, besides you of course. I'm Jung Kangmin, otherwise known as the visual of the group." He rested his face on the palms of his hands and puffed up his cheeks. I could tell he was going to be fun to be around. I smiled at him and deflated his cheeks with my fingers, much to his surprise. "Hi, Kangmin." I swear I could see the tiniest hints of a blush heat up his cheeks.

"And you already know me, Jaebeom. I'm a vocalist, dancer, really kind of a mix of everything. It keeps things interesting for me." He smiled. "What about you? What's your position?" Everyone once again turned to focus on me. "I'm main vocalist." I squeaked out, feeling an aura of intimidation surround the boys suddenly. "I can't wait to hear you." Jaebeom said. I smiled, feeling just a teensy bit more relaxed.

Suddenly, the moment was stopped short as the door to the studio swung open revealing two people - an older man and a young girl. The man sported fashionably graying hair matched with a bit of a gray beard and thin, black-rimmed glasses. He was wearing a fancy tweed suit and black loafers, a pocket-watch dangling from his pocket lining. The girl had strawberry blonde hair up to her collar bone and sported some extremely big and round gold framed glasses. She was wearing a black jumpsuit and black pumps. She had a clipboard in hand, neatly organized with a stack of papers.

"Ah, I see you all found the studio!" The man cried with a hearty chuckle. "I hope you've begun to get well-acquainted with one another." We all focused our attention on the pair, nodding at everything the man said so far. "I'm Yang Sungmin, CEO and creator of YOU Entertainment. As our first K-Pop trainee band, I have high hopes for you." He leaned forward, the light reflecting onto his glasses creating a glare. "And I hope you do not disappoint me." Im pretty sure every single one of us got shivers up our backs at that. He stood back up, jolly as ever. "This is the vice president, Chanhee. She will help you with any questions or concerns you have and will be in charge of getting you your daily schedules." Chanhee smiled, and bowed her head to us and continued to scan the documents of her clipboard.

"I gathered you all together today because I wanted you guys to really get to know one another, and get to know our company. Chanhee will be here to give you guys all access to our group text and some other things she mentioned." Sungmin looked down at his pocketwatch and winced. "I am late for a meeting, so I will have to see you later." He turned to Chanhee and whispered something in her ear, which she nodded to repeatedly. Hopefully we weren't automatically kicking anyone out yet - namely, me.

Sungmin left, taking his jolly aura with him.
