Y/N POV

Prom? Really? I thought to myself, shaking my head as I started to walk down to the bakery shop that he brought me to right before prom. As I walked in I was met with fresh aromas seeing as they have such a sweet array of delicacies they serve. Maybe, I thought He brought me here so we can share a shake romantically! But the lady behind the desk motioned me over quickly, and my hope dropped when I saw her handing me a small cake.

“It was paid for already I hope you enjoy!” Then she handed me another letter. All I can think about was Randy, with how much you're making me walk I'm gonna lose so much weight the dress is going to be loose by the time I get to you! Though, I smiled sweetly and read through the letter slowly.

Call me crazy! I know you did this day. Go to the spot where I told you about me losing the ninja ordeal next pretty please, sweetie.

I rolled my eyes fondly and nodded, walking out of the bakery. As I started my journey to the forest area outside of town, my mind roamed to that exact day.

“Ooohhh that purple haired brat is soooooo gonna get it!” I tapped my foot on the ground vigorously, holding my light jacket closer. My foot made a squelch! noise every time it hit the pavement, for it was wet from rain the day before. The light wind blew my hair some as I pushed my glasses up. Get here. Get here. Now!! I frowned at the wet floor below me. “Why did he sound so nervous on the phone anyway?” I muttered thoughtfully.

“H-Hey…” Randy walked over, shoulders slumped, head down. He rarely stuttered since we started dating.

“Honey?” I asked softly, all feeling of rage leaving at once as I took his face in my hands.

“Listen… Since school is ending, I should tell you. I'm not gonna be the ninja anymore. ...so maybe you should leave me..” I stared at him dumbfounded for a while.

“....What??” I sputtered in disbelief.

“Oh shut up!!” He pushed me away, looking at me. “I know why you dated me! ‘Oh look. I'm with the niinjaaa!’ you could never love the stupid me!”

I let him pushing me roll off my shoulders. But saying that? Oh hell no. I put my hands on my hips firmly. “Randall F**king Cunningham!” I glared at him sternly before poking his chest sharply. “If I ever hear such stupid nonsense like this again, I'm gonna have your head!” I knew it was harsh. But I was offended and Lucifer's waterfall started that morning. “You know, you sound stupid right now! You sound freaking crazy! Why would I date you because of that 1 reason! I didn't even know you were the ninja till right before! Pluuss! I only knew you were the ninja because of your eyes!!” I scowled, looking at his slightly hurt face. “It sounds more like you don't want me in your life!” I turned harshly, starting to crumble internally. Does he really not…? Soon my body matched my feelings as a tear rolled down my cheek. “If that's how you feel-!! Then… I'm sorry…. I'm sorry I wasn't good enough….” I jetted off. Tears soaking my face more as I coughed from the pain.
