|Tell Me|
(Unknown time)
"So.. We meet again, Eclair."
Shrouded grey eyes opened slowly and drowsily, and Eclair felt like her whole body was being weighed down by something impossibly heavy.
Her mind was able to register her surroundings after a while, and she was immediately struck with a sense of overwhelming anger.
A small room, with grey walls and flooring was where she stood, along with a large light source planted firmly onto the ceiling.
The weight of her body, she found was coming from nen infused chains that protruded from seemingly nowhere, and she was hoisted to where she was standing, with her arms and legs spread equally apart.
There seemed to be no escape, as the room had no vents, windows, or even a door.
She recognized this room, and she saw that she wasn't the only one occupying it.
"Reah."
A dark chuckle erupted from the older woman, as she stood leaning against one of the walls, "Is that any way to adress your mother? Thief."
"You are not my mother." Eclair spat, the venom in her voice almost surprising to even herself.
Reah smirked slyly, as if she knew she had complete control of their current situation.
"Oh darling, you know you never had to runaway~"
Her voice was sultry and silky, a combination of both to which Eclair found herself liking that she was being emersed into, but she shoved the feeling as far back as her mind would let her. This was Reah afterall, and she wasn't about to let herself be manipulated so easily.
"You could always come back ya'know~ All you'd have to do is~"
Eclair hadn't noticed the woman inching her way towards her, and was surprised when she felt a pair of coy arms wrap around her waist.
"Tell me.. Where'd you hide it?"
Her voice was at a whisper, and Eclair could feel her lips almost pressed against the shell of her ear.
"I'm never telling you old bag. And is it of any interest to be fondling your daughter like this? Seems incestuous if you ask me."
She shrugged her shoulders as much as she could, but it still put a large amount of strain onto her body.
Reah began cackling, and her arms released Eclair's waist from their grasp, as she began to walk to the front of her daughter's restrained body.
She continued her hysterical laughter for a few moments, even going as far as to clutch her stomach.
Once she was finished she stopped all of her movements, and snatched both of Eclair's cheeks with her thumb and forefinger.
"You think your soooo funny, don't you darling."
Eclair spat in her face.
Reah frowned, and released her face roughly as she wiped her face, refusing to lose her composer.
"I'm going to ask nicely one last time, Eclair. Where. Is. It."
"Check my panties, I'm sure your hands would love that."
Reah sighed and shook her head, "Ok. We'll see how funny you are when the people you love start going missing~"
She saw Eclair's eyes widen as she looked at her with an angry expression, "I don't love anyone."
"What about your grandmother? And good ole Tor-"
She wasn't able to finish her sentence, as Eclair used every bit of strength she had to pull the chain far enough to kick and send her mother flying to the other side of the room.
She slammed backwards into the wall, leaving a cater that now was in crumbled ruins, but she seemed unfazed by it as she arose from the rubble, wiping a small line of blood that dripped down the end of her mouth.
She smirked at Eclair, and watched as her bound nen tried to flow ragingly from her body, but couldn't.
"I do love the fact that you tried, but let's face the facts dear," she rushed foward and sent her fist slamming into her stomach, "I'll always be stronger than you."
She kept her balled fist on her daughter's stomach for a few seconds, being sure to use her nen to make the force much harder than it should have been.
She stepped back and watched as Eclair coughed up clots of blood, which was strange to her, but she quickly realized what had been done.
"You should have known, honestly I thought you were much smarter than that.. Tsk tsk!" She wiggled her index finger in Eclair's face, "Clenching the muscles in your stomach will only increase the amount of blood-flow and pain."
Her daughter responded by spitting out another blood clot.
"I'm guessing your ready to discuss this in full? Unless you want your loved ones to die-"
"You don't know where she is, or Toru for that matter. So leave them out of this!"
Eclair was beginning to lose her composure, and Reah saw this as an opportunity, "Oh, and how can I forget your dear old lover.. What was his name again? Hisoka?"
Eclair's heart stopped.
"Hit a soft point did I? I knew you had hired him all along, foolish mistake on your account. So tell me where you hid it, and they can all live! It's so simple, really. Eclair? Are you listening?"
'Hisoka? My l-lover? This cannot be. I don't love him.. Right?'
Eclair began shuddering, and losing control of her own body as she began to pull and jerk against her chains.
"Shit! We're losing her! I thought you said this would last up to four hours, you insignificant worm!"
A small man materialized next to the woman, his hand scratching his white beard. He wore a simple white lab coat and small rounded glasses.
He wasn't much to look at, at all.
That was all Eclair could remember before blacking out completely.
~~~~~~~
'Where am I?..'
Eclair opened her eyes slowly, and was first met with a pounding headache, that caused her to reclose them.
'Ow.. Fuck.'
".... Eclair?~"
She recognized the voice, and her eyes instantly, but slowly shot open again.
"H-hisoka.."
Her voice was frail and weak, and she assumed it was due to all of the blood she had coughed up earlier.
"How'd you get in here little fruit?~"
She heard the pattering of footsteps and felt a pair of hands grab her waist softly, before picking her up fully.
"What happened here? Who did this..."
His voice grew softer as he finished his sentence, while he took in her tattered form.
Her shirt was completely shredded towards her lower abdomen, and replaced with a purplish bruise, and her mouth and upper half of her shirt was riddled with now dry blood stains.
Hisoka felt an anger surge up inside of him. He hated when people played with his toys, but when they were damaged in the process? That was unforgivable.
"Don't worry.. I'll help you get cleaned up.."
He picked her up bridal style as he began walking out of their hotel living room.
'Eclair..'
