|Hisoka vs. Kastro?|

12:16pm

Eclair sat patiently in her seat, her legs were crossed and her hands sat idly in her lap.

She felt a sharp pang of pain near her lower abdomen, but she shrugged it off briefly as the announcer came on.

"Two years ago, Hisoka was the winner of their match. The audience is fired up to watch this match of destiny, as Kastro looks for revenge!"

Eclair sighed at the mention of Kastro's name. He had texted her sometime after their date, but she'd never bothered with reading it. There was just too much going on at the time.

"Sporting an 8-3 record, with all three losses being forfeits due to absense, we have the deadly magician with the tendency towards absence, Hisoka!"

The crowd began to scream and cheer, as Eclair winced slightly and fought off the urge to cover her ears.

"And opposing him, boasting a 9-1 record, one win away from the floor masters after nine straight wins since his loss to Hisoka, we have the martial artist, Kastro!"

The crowd erupted in cheers once again, and this time Eclair didn't fight the urge, as she covered her ears.

"Up next we have an interview with Kastro, from a few days ago."

Eclair uncovered her ears so she could tune in to the large auditorium screen.

"I wouldn't fight if I didn't expect to win. You'll see that I'm not the same person I was two years ago."

She found herself rolling her eyes at his cockiness, but stopped once she heard something similar to her name.

"-air.. If your watching this, which I expect you to be.. I'm doing this for you."

She gagged at the thought of someone fighting for her, then she pondered.

'What if Hisoka would fight for me?..'

This thought was more appealing to her, and she felt her face heat up slightly as she imagined the magician in place of Kastro.

"Kyaa! That's so romantic! I wish someone would fight for me!"

She stopped imagining her small fantasy, as she saw the two men enter the small arena and stand in their rightful positions.

"Yes! It's finally time... The long awaited rematch between Hisoka and Kastro!!"

"I'm very grateful, Hisoka." Kastro started, "If not for the initiation you gave me back then, i'd never have become this strong."

Hisoka chuckled sinisterly, "You mean to imply that you're stronger now?~"

"Just so you're aware, I never used my full strength in any of the nine matches after my loss to you. Those matches were nothing more than a warmup for my defeat of you.

"Begin!" The ref chopped his hand in mid-air between the two men, initiating the start of the battle.

"Here I come!" Kastro barked, as he rushed at the magician, being sure to send a swift chop towards his head.

Hisoka ducked avoiding the hit, or so he thought. He barely had time to register a mere thought before a solid punch was connected to his face.

"A clean hit!" Cocco yelled, "Kastro has landed the first strike!"

The audience erupted into a fit of screams, all of which were excited and hungry for more action.

Eclair couldn't believe her eyes. How on earth did he pull that off?

She tried focusing harder on the fight, but the more she focused, it was like the more her abdomen started pounding.

"Give me your best shot, Hisoka. I'm not the same person I was two years ago. I won't hold back on my next attack.

Hisoka smirked, "You'll have my best shot when I deem it necessary~"

"Very well," Kastro sighed slightly, "Then I hope you change your mind soon."

He leapt into the air with full force, and threw another attack Hisoka's way. Hisoka proceeded to dodge it perfectly, but was struck once again.

He backflipped out of the attack, as Kastro sent sent a wave of relentless attacks his way.

"What's wrong? Will you just run around, rather than attack?!"

He sent a rough kick towards Hisoka's face, and he swiftly blocked with his arms, before being knocked down by seemingly nothing.

"Clean hit, and knockdown!" The ref yelled, as the crowd went wild.

"What an amazing start! Kastro has been knocking his opponent around! The score is now 4-0 however, are my eyes deceiving me?!"

Eclair was starting to get irritated.

'How is he doing this?! Damn! I wish I could use nen to figure this out..'

She felt the pain in her stomach again, this time more excruciating than the last.

'Ugh..'

She clenched her arm across her lower half, trying to fight off strong the feeling of nausea.

"Have you still not changed your mind? Would you prefer to die ignorant?"

That was the last Eclair could understand before she stood up, and rushed out of the isle she sat in, hand clamped tightly over her mouth trying to hold in the contents that threatened to spill.

She ran to the nearest bathroom, not caring whether it was the men's or women's.

As soon as she entered the nearest stall to the door, she emptied out a throat-full of bile and blood.

She continued this for a few moments, tears spilling over her eyes and slipping down her cheeks.

'What's happening?..'

When she had finished emptying out the contents of her stomach she grabbed some tissue and wiped the corners of her mouth, only just realizing how hard she was breathing.

'Thank god I'm the only one in here...'

She flushed the contents down the toilet, before standing up and exiting the stall to wash her hands.

As she stood before the mirror she examined herself. She had large dark bags under her eyes, and her skin was extremely pale.

She felt the pain come back into her abdomen, and lifted her shirt to examine further.

She was shocked to the large weltering bruise in place of her stomach, the color ranging from blue, to purple, to black. It looked deadly.

'Has this always looked this bad?..'

She'd noticed it when she was changing earlier that morning, but shrugged it off, thinking it'd go away sooner or later.

She quickly let her shirt down as she heard someone approaching the door.It opened and a group of three young women wearing pounds of makeup entered.

They looked snobby, so Eclair didn't bother with paying them any mind, but she couldn't help but tune into their conversation.

"Did you hear about what Kastro said in his interview?"

"Oh my god, yes! Fighting for love!"

"How romaanntic!!"

"I wish someone would fight for me~"

"And those recent sightings? Of Hisoka and that girl."

"Yea, I read somewhere that it's his girlfriend, or something."

"How cute!"

Eclair couldn't take much more of this. She exited the bathroom hastily, but didn't bother to return to Hisoka's fight. She felt like she was too sick for anything at the moment.

7:32 pm

"I remember, I did come here for a reason."

Hisoka stretched his freshly stitched arms slowly, careful not to disturb the 'Texture Surprise' he'd placed on them. He was paying attention to what Machi had said, but only slightly. He was more focused on the fact that a certain fruit was missing.

"Hisoka. Are you even listening?" The female voice tuned into his ears once again and he nodded.

"The Troupe will be gathering without exception in Yorknew City at noon on August 30. Be there, or the boss might hunt you down himself."

He was going to give the woman a smart remark, but stopped when he heard the sounds of his door being opened, as Eclair entered.

"Ah, Eclair~ Where have you been?~"

As she walked into the room, he saw dark circles around her eyes as she moved sluggishly, and his curiosity was piqued.

"Are you alright?~"

Eclair's eyes slowly moved from Hisoka, to the unknown woman standing next to him.

"... Who's this."

Hisoka assumed she was referring to Machi, "This is a subordinate of mine~ Her name is Machi~"

"Hmm." She stared at the woman, trying hard to hide her new-found jealousy for the woman, due to the fact that she was standing much too close to Hisoka.

Machi eyed the woman up and down for a second. She saw nothing special about her, so why was she here? With Hisoka more specifically.

And, why did he sound so concerned for her?

"I'm going to lie down for a bit.." She sighed, as she left the main room and headed for the magician's bedroom.

The two adults were silent for a moment, before Hisoka chided, "Well now that it's all done, would you care to join me for dinner-"

Machi had exited the door before the magician had even finished his sentence, and he chuckled, "What a pity~"
