Layla POV

I walked around our garden. I was very peaceful.

"AHAHAHAHAHA" A sudden loud laughed echoed through our peaceful mansion.

That voice was Lucy's

I smiled. I never heard her laugh this hard

"Lady Layla!" Spetto called as she ran towards me. 

"How may I help you Spetto-san?" I asked. She was still catching her breath.

"I heard a loud noise! What was it, if I may ask?" She said worriedly . I giggled as a response.

"That was just Lucy. She was just laughing I pressume" I said, staring at the window of her room.

We both did. I was silent, but I enjoyed it.

"It's very nice how Lucy-sama finally can enjoy her youth like this" She said. 

"Yes. Indeed it is. We should probably let her be" I said, walking towards the rose covered gates. Spetto gladly followed me outside.

If only it was always like this. If only she never felt that way. 

If only I had the courage to help her. 

The only thing I can give is my comfort. But it doesn't hold in a wound....

Flashback:

I was drinking some Earl Gray tea by our balcony. I noticed how our gates opened, revealing a crying girl running inside.

I stood up and entered quickly. 

I took a peak at our Grand Stair case, finding Lucy rushing to her room, ignoring everyone in sight. 

I began to worry. What has happened to my sweet flower?

Me and Jude awaited on the dining table. All we were waiting for was Lucy

"Tell one of the maids to fetch her! Her food is getting cold" Jude said in an emotionless voice.

'I can feel the kindness in your words Jude' I said to myself.

"Virgo, May you call Lucy?" I asked. She nodded. "Yes My Queen" She said before leaving us.

I watched as Virgo leave the dining room, leaving me and Jude.

"I wonder what has happened" I said to myself as Jude sipped his coffee (No questions!)

"I noticed how sad she was when she came home today" He said, making me look at him.

"Yes" I said, as I began to eat. I wouldn't want my food to become cold.

"Here" He said, as he handed me 200 000 Jewels. I pushed it away.

"You know she doesn't need your money! He need you!" I almost yelled. 

It has become his habit, thinking that money can take his place.

"She needs her father, Jude. She needs your love and comfort, not the money you earn!" I said, as he eats instead of listening.

'Jude can be a child sometimes' I mentally laughed.

"It's only been the 2nd week. I don't think something bad can happen this early" I said, as I took another bite.

This isn't the first time too. Almost everyday since last week, she comes home crying. She either came home with bruises or didn't some home at all! She would be in the hospital. The staff became more worried about her health each day, as she skips breakfast and dinner most of the time. She's very pale and a smile was brushed off her face. If only I knew what was wrong. 

I can hear her cries at night. They scare me. My flower, is wilting infront of me. And I just watch it happen. She wouldn't let us in her room. The only way we can enter was with the spare key. I would see her face, filled with dried tears. Her uniform spilled with red. 

That horrifying shade of Red. Blood red

I can tell that she only slept a few minutes ago, and cried for hours. it was 11:00 PM afterall. Since then, she wouldn't tell us about what happens at school. She got top grades, but she wasn't happy about them. She starts to shake whenever it was Monday. 

When she gets home from school, she'll eventually leave and come back home with even more wounds. I'm really worried.

I snapped back to reality as Lucy finally came down to eat. She was wearing a face mask, A long sleeve jacket and jogging pants. It was like she was hiding her body.

"Dear, wouldn't you like to remove your jacket? It's really hot today" I asked.

She nodded side-ways as she began to eat quickly. Me and Virgo looked at each other.

"Oh dear" I whispered before eating as well.

The whole dinner was silent. Awkwardly silent. The air was very uncomfortable.

I was heading towards my room, before I heard a cry.

"Why? Why does this have to be me?" I heard someone said. I rushed towards Lucy's room knowing it was her.

I placed my ear through her door.

"Why? *sniff* What did I ever do to them? What's wrong with me? *sniff* Why am I treated this way? Is it something I did? I said? *sniff* Why am I being treated so differently? Like trash? Am I just a piece of paper to them? *sniff* Aren't I a human too? Don't they think I can get hurt as well? I'm a person too! I have feeling! I can get hurt! *sniff* Can't they see that?" She said

My tears were piling up, until I heard a scream through the door. 

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Lucy screamed.

Maids and Butlers started running towards me. They were all panicking.

"Lady Layla! What  is happening?" Lyra asked. Another ear-tearing scream was heard.

"STTTTOOOOOOOP!" She cried.

Capricorn pushed me away from the door. 

"Stand back! I'll break down the door!" Just before he kicked it open, I went infront of him.

"Don't do it!" I said. They were all shocked by my rash actions. But for her case, these were the right ones

"We should give her some space. She needs it" I said. They started to leave one-by-one. It was just me infront of her door.

I knocked. "Lucy. Dear? Are you still awake?" I asked. I heard no reply.

"I'm not sure if you're awake, but if there's anything bothering you, you can always tell Mommy" I said.

Sill no reply. I walked away from her room, but I stood still as I heard a faint 'thank you'.

And I finally went to our bedroom and finally slept

Narrator POV

"That's sad" Levy said through the phone.

"Well, There's still you and Lucy! Don't feel sad" Erza said, comforting her

"But it would pretty lonely if it's only the two of us!" Levy cried

Levy started to roll around her bed, until she fell. "Kya!" she gasped.

"Are you okay?" She heard. She was still holding her phone.

"Yeah" Levy replied, holding the phone to her ear. She stood up

"Maybe I should come with you! Who knows what they'll do to you there!" Levy yelled. ON the other side, Erza is covering her ears.

"Lucy wouldn't like that" Erza scolded. "She wouldn't like this either!" Levy protested.

"I'm just worried about you" Levy said, sitting back on her bed.

"I know" Erza said sadly. "But it's still March! We can hangout till June!" Levy said, trying to make her feel better.

"I would love that" Erza replied. They stayed silent for a couple of seconds.

"When are you gonna tell Lu-chan?" Levy asked. On Erza's side, her eyes opened wide.

"I'm not sure. She'll gonna freak out" Erza said.

"She's gonna be so worried about you! And I am too! You can always say no, right?" Levy asked. Erza frowned.

"Can't. I'm already fully payed. My paperwork was already submitted. All I can do now is wait" Erza replied.

"Well don't be sad, Er-chan! There's still a lot of time! Let's enjoy the time we have" Levy said.

"Sure" Levy heard from her phone. Levy smiled.

"Okay, gotta go!" Levy said. "Talk to ya later" Erza replied before they ended the call.

[ Later ]

Erza was told by her parents, that Principal Makarov will give her an early tour today inside Fairy Tail Academy. She was scared, yet excited? Before she met Lucy, she has always dreamed of being a tsudent there. Outside the school, FTA has a really good reputation. 

She was shocked about what they did to Lucy.

But now, she's a student in her dream school. Is she still happy, or not?

Erza wore her uniform, since she decided to check if it fits. To her advantage, it was perfect.

She looked into her watch.  It was 10:03 AM. Even if the school was far, she decided to walk. She wanted to make a stop at Lucy's, since it isn't really that far but she couldn't. She had already told her that she 'might' enrol there. Lucy probably expects that they cancelled. She would flip a billion times if she found out.

She was about to ring the doorbell, by then hesitated. She thought for a moment. Lucy would be worried to death, to the point  that she would cry. She didn't want to see her cry, if it was about herself. She turned away, and walked straight to school.

[ One walk later... ]

She was in the gates.

"Fairy Tail Academy" She read as she stared at the school's sign/logo. Her eyes sparkled, as if she saw a strawberry cake. She shivered at her first step inside the campus. Her vision fixiated at a blue haired boy, only steps away from her.

The boy looked back. They eyes were locked at each other's gaze. The boy coughed, catching Erza's attention, making her blush. She catched up with him, and offered her hand. 

"Hello, My name is Erza Scarlet. Nice to meet you" She greeted.

"Likewise, my name is Jellal Fernandes" He said, shaking her hand.

They walked side by side as they approach the main building. There were alot of students. They looked so happy? She shrugged at the thought.

"So, Are you a new student too?" She turned around. 

"Yes. You?" She asked.

"Yeah. And I thought I was the only new student." He said, making Erza smile.

The two chatted as they explored the campus. They were being starred at by the students, but they couldn't care less. They finally made it infront of Principal Makarov's office. Jellal knocked before opening the door slowly.

Their was a huge chair, facing the window in the wall. They couldn't tell who was sitting.

"Principal Makarov?" Jellal said, before entering the dark room.

The chair turned to them slowly. Erza saw a hint of pink. They faced the man sitting on the principal's chair, revealing to be a teenage boy, with pink hair having an evil grin in his face.

"YOU'RE PRINCIPAL MAKAROV! YOURE 18!" Erza scolded, making the pinkette laugh.

"WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!" Jellal panicked.

The pinkette, Natsu, starred at the two, observing them.

"So, You're Jellal Fernandes? I was expecting someone more handsome than this" He teased at Jellal, who frowned. Erza then, snapped.

"Excuse me?! He's darn hot compared to you!" Erza yelled. She realized what she just said and blushed, she quickly turned to Jellal, finding him starring at her, also blushing.

"I... Umm...Uh--" She was stuttering, while Natsu chuckled at the two.

"And you? Erza Scarlet? What a fat ass " He said, boredly. Erza, on the other hand, just snapped completely. To be more clear, that insult  just uncovered her inner demon.

As Natsu laughed his ass out, he face was caught by a flying fist, giving him a strong upper cut. It sent him off his chair and straight to the window, that almost cracked. Before realizing what had happened, he felt someone grip his collar. Expecting it to be Jellal, he shivered, finding himself infront of a demon.

Natsu was sweating waterfalls while shaking. The dark expression on her face was so scary, that the author couldn't find the right words to put just to describe her. THIS IS ERZA WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!

"What did you say?!" She said. Her voice turned into those dark, cryptic voices in horror movies. Natsu turned white as his soul just left his body.

"DEMON!" Natsu cried as she tried to escape his grasp. He swears, he just saw horns come out of her head.

Erza was still in Beast Mode.

"E-Erza-san! Calm down!" Jellal said, trying to help Natsu. He mentally laughed, watching that arrogant man turn into a wimp when Erza stricked at him. But he needs to save him, or Erza will have his neck. 

He gasped, as Erza took a pipe from the middle of her breasts. 'How did that get there?' He asked himself as a long pipe was now in Erza's hands. The pipe was gratified, to have the words 'Heaven's Wheel'.

"Erza! Don't kill him!"

"Ahhhh! I'm too handsome to die!"

"That is enough!"

Someone behind him said. They all turned around, finding a short old man tapping his foot. Erza calmed down and dropped Natsu. 'So he's Makarov' Erza made a mental note, as she looked down at the old man.

"Classes haven't even started yet, and I might already give you all detention!" Principal Makarov said, looking at Natsu.

Natsu crossed his arms and pouted. Erza took away her pipe as Jellal and her bowed at the principal.

"Natsu, Please leave us" Makarov said, pointing at the door. Natsu's eyes widen and annoyance was written in his face.

"What?! No way!" He complained. Makarov gave him a death glare, making them all shiver in shock and fear. Natsu gulped.

"H-Hai!!!!" He squealed before running towards the door, as if his life depended on it. Principal Makarov placed books on his chair, before sitting on it. He took two folder's from his desk.

"well, I'm sorry for Natsu's attitude. He's really like that. I hope you won't mind" He apologized.

'So he's Natsu' Erza said to herself. She felt all her anger come back, remembering what this 'Natsu' did to her friend. Her eyes was covered by her bangs. She regretted not finishing the life of that bastard. She made a mental note not to forget to throw him in a pit of wolves later.

"Natsu Dragneel..." She said angrily as she gritted her teeth. Jellal was worried.

"Well, Here's all your classes for the upcomming school year. And I hope you still have time to run aorund and give yourselves a tour of the campus" He said, handing them sheets of paper.

"Thank you" Jellal said politely.

"And also..." He said before taking a deep breath.

"I would like to make you two instant parts of the Student Council" He said.

"WHAT!" The two said in unison

"But we just got here!" Erza countered.

"You see, The parts of the Student Council get's more useless and unreliable every year. Natsu, is running for president, as you can see that isn't really working out really well. I've read you personal info sheet, and I was glad to find how perfect you two are. You are both responsible and would fit perfectly!" said joyfully.

"And it seems you two are already friends already! The perfect pair" Makarov said, making Erza and Jellal smile at each other.

"But, I'm not really sure I can do it" Jellal said. He felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry Jellal. We can do this" Erza said, making him feel better.

"Great! Take a tour around, I'm sure you'll love it here!" Principal Makarov said

"And remember, Never betray your nakama. Your nakama is your family here" He said.

"Hai!" They said in unison. They both exited the door.

"Hey Erza" Jellal said

"Yes?"

"remember what you said about me being hot?" Erza blushed.

"Thanks" Jellal smiled at her. They heard a faint voice before they started their tour.

"I know it's not the school year yet, but welcome to Fairy Tail Academy!
