Spoilers for season one of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure.

BEST CHARACTER, BEST VILLAIN, BEST EVERYTHING.

We begin with a boy who has nothing but hopes and dreams who gets nothing but pushed aside. He still keeps hope.

Then, the black rocks appear, and he tries to help, but accidentally traps his (maybe dead) father in amber crystals.

After desperately seeking help, everyone turns their backs to him, so he goes to drastic measures. His VA expresses all these emotions so well!

I have NEVER felt more sympathetic for a villain, he was wonderfully written! I just wish we'd gotten to see more emotion when he failed, and more hurt than anger as he was dragged to prison, because despite his end motivation being anger, it's anger driven by hurt, and I feel like at the very end there that was overlooked.
