((Your POV:))

Your heart stopped at the sight, making you feel cold to the touch. There was no way... This can't be happening... You shut your eyes tightly and shake your head. No. This is all in my head. I must be seeing things... You open your eyes to see that your arm was fine once again. You let out a huge sigh of relief and fall to the floor while placing your hand over your heart. Oh thank god... You back up and head to your room and lay down, not feeling tired anymore. So much for that...

You lay awake, staring at the ceiling. You just can't stop your heart from pounding. It was so loud you thought that someone was going to yell at you to shut your heart up. After twenty more minutes of not being able to sleep, you sigh and check the time on your phone. 3:30. It read. You sigh and throw a pillow over your face. The memory of your arm fading flashing repeatedly in your mind. Why? Why does that image keep popping up? It didn't really happen. You tell yourself. Soon after another hour, you finally pass out from exhaustion.

After you finally woke up you rubbed your eyes and groaned. You had a weird dream but you can't remember it. Something about meeting Prussia in the park you think?

You check the time to see 8:30. You groan. I only had four hours of sleep... You got up and passed by the mirror again, making your heart fall to your stomach. Your whole entire arm was basically see through by now. It... It wasn't my imagination... It was real the whole time. The thought made you feel sick to your stomach. What am I supposed to do?... I don't know what to do... You thought.

Your heart was throbbing hard against your chest, only the sound of it pounding in your ears as the world seemed to go quiet. Panic was coursing through your veins and your skin ice cold. One voice could be heard.

Prussia...

You take a deep breath, almost falling over because you weren't breathing for so long. Then you hear it again.

Prussia...

You still had a hard time processing the name before realization snapped you out of it.

Prussia...

He might be able to help! He went through something like this!  You thought to yourself with sudden realization.

You quickly throw over a (F/c) hoodie and quickly get ready and walk up the stairs out of habit. But that might of not been the best thing to do. In the kitchen, the Nordics were eating peacefully (for once) and they looked over to you.

"Oh (Y/n)! There you are! How are you this morning?" Finland asked with his usual smile. You forced a fake smile and pretended everything was okay.

"Hey Fin! I'm great. What about you guys?" You asked. You caught a glimpse at Norge to see him raise an eyebrow at you in a suspicious way.

"I'm great.~ Thank you." He answered. You felt really bad for lying to them, especially with something so important. It's not that you didn't want to tell them, It's just that you're scared out of your wits and don't know what to do. Even so, the words were caught in your throat as you felt the back of your eyes starting to burn from trying to keep in the tears of fear. Norge eyed you some more, knowing that your little act wasn't fooling him.

"(Y/n)... Why don't you come sit down with us? Have some breakfast." He said. You were slightly shaking and knew that Norway was onto you.

"Oh, I'm good. I'm not very hungry." You said. He eyed you again, almost in a challenging way.

"Why not?" He asked. The rest of the Nordics were very confused by what was going on.

"Norge? What's gotten into you? She's just not hungry, that's all." Denmark said, while scooping more eggs into his mouth.

"Yeah. She doesn't have to eat if she's not hungry..." Fin added. Sweden gave a grunt in response to agree.

"I'm just curious. She usually joins us." He said, keeping his blank face.

"Well I was actually going to join Prussia at the park this morning..." You said, hoping Norge would take the bait. His dull eyes burned into your own (E/c) one, as if he was trying to read your mind.

"Well I better go. Prussia's probably waiting for me as we speak." You say quickly while turning to leave.

"Okay! Have fun!" Finland called after you.

"Yeah... Have fun..." Norway said. You hurried out of the house, your heart beating even harder against you. You let out a sigh as you finally left the death trap of a house. Why?... Why didn't I tell them?... They could have helped.... You thought to yourself with huge guilt. If anyone should know what's going on, it should be them. Especially since they did so much to help you. It would only seem right. But something in your head kept screaming to go to Prussia.

You let out a sigh and slowly walked onto the sidewalk, Your whole body shaking in fear of what's to come.

((Nordics POV:))

After watching the girl leave the room, they stayed silent until they heard the door close. After the sound of the front door making the loud clicking sound, they all turned to face Norway with a questioning look.

"What was that all about?" Iceland asked. Norway looked over to his younger brother with a dull look.

"She was obviously hiding something." He answered.

"Like what?" Sweden asked. Norway crossed his arms and leaned back.

"I have no idea. If we made her stay here, she probably would have told us." He said.

"Oh come on. (Y/n) wouldn't keep anything hidden from us. We're her best friends!" Denmark tried to reason. Finland nodded his head in agreement.

"Yeah! If it was important, she would tell us!" He said. Iceland nodded in agreement.

"Hm... I guess you're right." Norway said. But something kept chewing at him that something wasn't right, and he knew it.

((Your POV:))

You continued down the sidewalk, walking to your friend's house. You often walked to his place when you went to the park with him.

You looked around and take in the atmosphere. It's almost fall, meaning that some of the trees were starting to turn into a light yellow-green and the temperature was a perfect 73 degrees.(About 23 degrees Celsius) It would be perfect out, that is if you weren't freezing, and starting to get paler by the second. Please just let this be a sickness or something... You thought while trying to choke down the lump in your throat.

You continued down when you accidently bumped into someone. You fallback and land on your bum with an 'oof'. You quickly stand up, apologizing to whoever you ran into.

"I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!" You say, while scrambling to help the person up. You take a look at the person you ran into to see Canada. He stood up and waved his hand.

"It's fine, (Y/n). I also wasn't watching where I was going." He said. You sighed.

"I'm really sorry Canada." You say. He continued to wave you off.

"Really it's fine... But I was wondering if we were going to the ice skating rink today?" He asked softly. You froze. I forgot that Canada and I were going to the ice rinks today...

"Oh... I'm really sorry, I completely forgot..." You say, feeling even more guilty. He just smiled.

"It's okay (Y/n). I understand. Maybe tomorrow then?" He asked. You nodded.

"Umm... Yeah... Tomorrow..." You say with an uncertain smile. That is if I'll be here tomorrow... You both said your goodbyes and you continued to Prussia's house.

((Canada's POV:))

I walked to (Y/n)' house, feeling confident. Today is the day. Today is the day I'll tell (Y/n) my feelings about her! We'll go to the ice rinks and take her out for ice cream in the park, just like when we first hung out together.

I wasn't really paying attention, too lost in thought on how I was going to tell (Y/n), and accidently ended up running into someone, making us both fall. I was about to apologize but the person beat me to it. I quickly recognized the voice as (Y/n).

She was apologizing like crazy as I told her it was okay. I noticed that she was completely out of it, and was very pale. As I continued to look into her eyes, looking for some kind of clues as to what was happening, you could see a deep sadness.

"Really it's fine... But I was wondering if we were going to the ice skating rink today?" I asked with hope for both the chance to ask her to be mine, and to make her happy. I watched as her face drained from any colour that was left.

"Oh... I'm really sorry, I completely forgot..." She said with guilt in her voice. I felt my heart drop with disappointment.

"It's okay (Y/n). I understand. Maybe tomorrow then?" I asked so she wouldn't feel too bad. Besides, she really looks like she's completely in a whole another world.

"Umm... Yeah... Tomorrow..." She said with an uncertain smile. I was confused about it, but I didn't want to pressure her into telling me.

We both exchanged goodbyes and continue our way to our destination, even though I have no place to go now. I really wanted to stay and ask her what was wrong, but something told me that I should probably stay out of it.

If she wanted to tell me, she would have. It's best to let her tell me on her own time. Besides, I am her best friend, right?

((Your POV:))

Guilt was just clawing at you. I had two chances to tell someone about it, and I haven't. What type of friend am I? I was cut out of my thoughts from someone picking me up from behind and swinging me around. I was startled but after hearing familiar laugh, and relaxed.

"Dude! There you are! I've been searching for you forever!" An all too familiar voice shouted.

"Hey America. What are you doing?" You asked. He had a huge grin on his face.

"Looking for you, of course!" He said.

"Really? What for?"

"I got us super, awesome, sweet tickets to the new carnival they set up! And I was wondering if you wanted to come?!" He said. You felt your heart break even more.

"I'm so sorry America... But I can't right now... But thank you! I would love to go, it's just a bad time." You said, guilt hitting you like a brick to the face. He looked super disappointed. You could see the disappointment in his baby blue eyes. It felt like you just kicked a puppy.

"Oh... It's fine, dude. Maybe next week?" He asked with a hopeful smile. You gave another uncertain smile.

"Yeah... Maybe next week..." You say. He smiled again and put the tickets in his pockets.

"Well, If the hero's sidekick ever needed something, just call me up!" He said. You gave him a sad smile as you both said your goodbyes.

Next week...

((America's POV:))

I bounced with excitement as I searched for (Y/n). Today I'm going to ask her out when we go to the carnival together! I made sure to get these tickets three months ahead of time. It was definitely worth it! Especially when I get to call her mine! Then she'll be my sidekick as we fight crime together! Everybody is going to be so jealous! Especially England!

As I spotted a figure with a (F/c) hoodie in front of me, I quickly recognized it as (Y/n). I ran to her, my excitement getting the better of me.

"Dude! There you are! I've been searching for you forever!" I shouted as I set her down from my excited hug.

"Hey America. What are you doing?" She asked. I had a huge smile on my face, when I noticed that (Y/n) did not look too good, not to mention that her lips look like they're turning purple. Maybe my tickets will cheer her up!

"Looking for you, of course!" I said.

"Really? What for?" She asked.

"I got us super, awesome, sweet tickets to the new carnival they set up! And I was wondering if you wanted to come?!" I asked. I saw as her smile faded away.

"I'm so sorry America... But I can't right now... But thank you! I would love to go, it's just a bad time." She said, guilty. I was super disappointed at that.

"Oh... It's fine, dude. Maybe next week?" I asked with a hopeful smile. She gave an uncertain smile.

"Yeah... Maybe next week..." She say. I smiled again and put the tickets in my pockets. She must be going through a hard time or something. I'll make sure to ask Mathias about it.

"Well, If the hero's sidekick ever needed something, just call me up!" I said, so that way she knows that she could always call me up. We smiled at each other as we said our goodbyes.

So much for that... I thought with a disappointed sigh. I hope she'll talk to me about it though.

((Your POV:))

You continued down the streets, feeling as your skin got colder by the second. You heard some fighting and looked up to find both France and England yelling at each other. Oh no....

Well, France making snooty comments as England yelled at him.

When France happened to see you, he quickly left England's side and went to yours.

"Ah! (Y/n)~ What a surprise to meet you here.~" He said while handing you a rose. You took it with a thank you as England started to yell at France some more.

"You bloody wanker! You better back off!" He yelled. France turned around with a smirk.

"Oh Britain.~ Is zhat any way to speak in front of a lady such as (Y/n)?~" He asked. England glared harder as the two both clashed heads, making you sweat drop a little bit.

"Umm.. I'm really sorry you two, but, uh, I really have to be somewhere right now..." You said. You felt your hand start to lose more weight in it as the texture of your hand started to fade.

The two pulled away, both with some shock and disappointment at the same time.

"Oh.. Well sorry about that love... I guess we better be off then." England said while rubbing the back of his neck. France also said a goodbye with a wink as you all separated.

Am I just seeing all the countries today?!

((France and England's POV:))

England got up early in the morning, going over his plan for today. Nothing will stand in his way! Especially that frog, France!

He got in his nicer clothes, making him seem fancy, but not overdoing it at the same time.

He left the house and walked down the street, ready to take (Y/n) out for coffee before he finally pops the question that could make France faint.

As he walked down the street he saw a familiar figure that he did not want to see.

"Oh no! What is that stupid git, France, doing here?" He asked himself, while hiding in some nearby bushes. He watched as France flirted with the lady behind the flower cart, before he heard something that caught his attention.

"I plan on asking zhe love of my life, out today." France said. England immediately knew who he was talking about. That wanker! He knew that I was going to ask (Y/n) out today!

The girl behind the flower cart giggled.

"She is a very lucky girl." She said.

"Non. It iz me zhat iz zhe lucky one." He said. It made England want to throw up and punch him in the face. But mostly punch him in the face.

"LIKE HELL YOU'RE GOING TO ASK HER OUT, YOU BLOODY FROG!" England shouted as he jumped out from the bushes, surprising France and the flower cart worker too. After France recognized England, he smirked.

"Oh Britain.~ I didn't know you had feelings for dear (Y/n) as well.~" He said, making the Brit fume with anger.

"You knew I liked her!" He yelled back, clashing heads with him and lightning shooting between their eyes. They growled at each other before France pulled away.

"Oh well. I guess whoever gets to (Y/n) first will get full right over who gets to ask her.~" He said with his annoying laugh.

"Well you're asking for a war you can't win! It'll be the French and Indian war all over again!" England shouted back. France gasped.

"We'll see about zhat!" France said, as we go down the street together, walking as fast as they could go. They both argued back and forth before France broke them out of the trance.

"Ah! (Y/n)~ What a surprise to meet you here.~" He said while handing her a rose. She took it with a polite thank you as England started to yell at France some more, is frustration getting the best of him.

"You bloody wanker! You better back off!" He yelled. France turned around with a smirk.

"Oh Britain.~ Is zhat any way to speak in front of a lady such as (Y/n)?~" He asked. England glared harder as they both clashed heads again.

"Umm.. I'm really sorry you two, but, uh, I really have to be somewhere right now..." (Y/n) said. The two of them pulled away, both with some shock and disappointment at the same time. It was the first time they get a full look of (Y/n) and her current state. Her lips were turning a slight purple as her skin was almost as white as paper. She looked... like she was about to die. If it wasn't for her voice and stance that she stood at, proving that she wasn't sick, they would have taken her to the hospital. Not to mention that they weren't expecting her to push them away like that...

"Oh.. Well sorry about that love... I guess we better be off then." England said while rubbing the back of his neck. France also said a goodbye with a wink as they all separated.

As they left, it was silent between the two.

"(Y/n) seemed really pale.." England started. France nodded.

"Yeah... I wonder what waz wrong..." He said. The two just walked in silence, thinking about what could have happened to (Y/n).

((Your POV:))

I really need to get to Prussia's house, and fast... You thought. You felt yourself get colder and colder. Soon you'll be shaking like a leaf, even though it's pretty warm outside.

You heard your name being called, and looked over to see Russia at a sunflower shop.

"Privet (Y/n)..." Russia said with a small blush on his cheeks. You gave a weak smile back.

"Hey Russia..." You say. He rubbed the back of his head.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out for some coffee or something..." He asked. Your weak smile faltered again.

"I'm really sorry Russia... But I can't I have something really important to do..." You say. He nodded and tapped his fingers together.

"I understand... Well see each other soon, da?" He asked.

"...Yeah..." You answer and scurry off to Prussia's house once again.

((Russia's POV:))

Is really nervous about asking (Y/n) to coffee. I was planning on asking her to become one with me today too. When I saw her, I almost couldn't believe my luck.

"Privet (Y/n)..." I said. I could feel the heat start to go to my face. She gave a weak smile back, making me wonder what happened to make sunflower so upset, not to mention look so depressed.

"Hey Russia..." She said. I rubbed the back of my head.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out for some coffee or something..." I asked, hoping that we could talk about what was wrong and also pop the question. Her smile faltered, making me nervous.

"I'm really sorry Russia... But I can't I have something really important to do..." She said. I nodded and tapped my fingers together.

"I understand... Well see each other soon, da?" I asked.

"...Yeah..." She answered and scurried off.

What's making sunflower so upset?

((Your POV:))

I quickly pick up the pace. It' so close... Just right around this corner... You thought as you speed walked over there, but no. You had to get stopped.

"(Y/n) aru! There you are!" You heard China said as he turned you around. He stopped right when he saw your completion.

"(Y/n)... You don't look good at all! Here! I have some ancient Chinese brew to make you feel better!" He said while whipping out a bottle that looks like it hasn't been opened for 5,000 years. You waved your hands.

"No! I'm fine China! I just really have to go! I'm sorry!" You yell as you run to Prussia's house.

China was left, too shocked to do anything.
"(Y/n), aru?..."

You ran as you saw the familiar house at the end of the street, the closest to the park.

You sped up the sidewalk and up to the door to the house, ringing the doorbell. A couple of seconds later, Germany answered the door.

"Hallo?" He asked as he looked down to find you.

"Oh (Y/n)... It's jou."

"Yeah-"

"Germany! Who is-a it?" You heard Italy shout from the inside. Germany sighed and opened the door to reveal Japan, Italy, Romano, Spain, and Prussia, sitting on the couch, watching a movie.

"It's (Y/n).." Germany said.

"Oh (Y/n)!~ Are you going to come join-a us?" Italy asked. You shook your head.

"I'm afraid not... I actually came because I really needed to talk to Prussia.." You said. Prussia perked up and jumped off the couch.

"Kesese! Later losers! Zhe awesome me shall be off!" He said while Germany moved out of the way for his brother to pass through. Prussia shut the door, turning back to you.

"Vhat is it liebe?" He asked gently, almost instantly knowing that something was up. You both started walking towards the park and before you knew it, you were by the tree where you and Prussia first started to get to become friends with each other. You took a deep breath as you shut your eyes tightly.

"Well..."

After the door closed at the German household, the rest were left to stare at the door.

"(Y/n)-chan seemed pretty upset..." Japan said. Germany nodded his head.

"Ja... I vonder vhat happened..." Germany replied.

"Pssh. Probably some stupid-a girl stuff." Romano said, sitting back in the couch. They kind of agreed with Romano, but at the same time, they couldn't help but think that something else is going on...

((Prussia's POV:))

"Well..." (Y/n) started out. I felt my heart beat against my chest. This is it Prussia... She's going to admit her huge crush on you and then I'll ask the big question and then we'll be together at last!

I watched as she raised her hand with her hoodie sleeve covering it. It slid down her arm to reveal her hand...

Except... It was almost gone.

My heart froze, along with my body.

"Prussia.... I think I'm starting to fade away..." (Y/n) said. I heard as her voice cracked, signaling that she was about to cry.

I was no longer disappointed that she wasn't admitting her undying love for me, no. I was more focused at the thought that (Y/n) is starting to disappear. I gained control of my body again and quickly stepped towards her and lifted her chin from looking down. I was dead serious at this point.

She looked up with a sniffle as I saw a couple of tears start to roll down her face, breaking my heart at the sight.

"Liebe..." I whispered. I had no idea how to react, much less know what to do. I cleared my throat.

"When did jou first find out?" I asked. She sniffled and wiped her face.

"I found out for sure this morning, but I think I saw it first happened last night..." She said. I nodded my head. I grabbed her hand, to feel that it was ice cold. I clutched it, hoping that I could bring her some kind of warmth.

I looked at her fingers, to see them almost invisible. I almost wanted to cry with her, but I had to be strong. For her.

"I-I don't know what to d-do..." She cried. I pulled her in a hug as I started to pet her hair down in a soothing way.

"It's okay (Y/n)... We'll figure it out.... Jou're a smart, brave girl who always makes it through the end. Zhis is nothing compared to what jou've been through." I said. She sniffled again and nodded.

"But... What if I do disappear? What about everybody else?... How will they find out?" She asked.

"I'll tell them." She let out another sniffle and hugged me tighter.

"Really?"

"Ja..." I pulled back and she wiped her (E/c) eyes. I looked her in the eyes.

"Jou'll make it through zhis. I promise I won't let you disappear." I said. It was more of me trying to convince myself in my fear and sadness than it was for her.

She smiled sadly and brought me into another hug.

"Don't worry about keeping this promise, okay?" She answered as soft as the wind.

I felt my heart twist into a knot and tears starting to well in my eyes as I knew she saw through my unconvincing promise.

I didn't want to let go, in fear she would be gone forever if I did.

I felt her pull away as she was still holding onto my hand. She walked back, making it so that only our hands were keeping us together as our arm's were reached out. She looked at me with a sad smile and a few grateful tears.

"Thank you... Prussia..." She said softly. I felt a gust of wind blow past, making some leaves flutter through the air, towards (Y/n) as it gently blew through her hair, as she started to fade away all together.

After a couple of seconds of me staring after her as she disappeared, the feeling of her hand in mine went away, making me clutch my now empty hand.

My arm dropped to my side as I slowly turned around and walked back towards the house. Right before I left the spot of the old tree, I turned around one more time.

"Goodbye (Y/n)..."
