Virgil's POV

I was about to start walking down to Remus's house when I got a text, I opened it not worrying to much thinking it was Patton. Spoiler alert it wasn't Patton.

Two Faced Snake: Hey~~~ So my b-day was not that long ago (Thanks for wishing be a happy b-day by the way -_-) So I don't have a stupid soulmate and wanted to know if you wanted to get together or something~~~~

Me: Go fuck yourself Dean. I actually have a soulmate. He may not be all that great but he's so much better than you.

Two Faced Snake: No need to be so upset Virge!

Me: Don't call me that.

Two faced Snake: Do you at least know someone who would be with me?? Everyone here sucks!!

The nerve this guy has to come along asking me to set him up with someone. But I know what he's talking about. The people there are the kinda people who cheat then blame you for what they did.

I started typing my response telling him to fuck off again, it's not a good comeback but I refuse to use all my good comebacks on him, but I changed my mind and slid my phone into my back pocket.

I took a minute to clear my mind then got back to what I was doing. I should get rid of his number.

My dads wouldn't be home for about a half hour isn't that far so I should be home before them and this is really no big deal.

After much deliberation I decided not to tell my dads I was going out. I'll be back before them so I don't need to

. . . right?

I grabbed mt house key that I keep in my backpack (just in case ya know?) then started walking outside.

Then upon realizing I forgot my headphones I went back in and grabbed them. I turned on my 'Awkwardly walking to go have an awkward conversation awkwardly awkward music' Then started my long awaited walk to to their house.

As the first song on my playlist started (Awkward by scotty sire) I involuntarily started thinking about everything could go wrong.

To be completely honest, I almost got lost on the way there. But once I realized how to not be a dumbass I arrived at the front of the house my soulmate, his crazy brother, and his hopefully not homophobic parents house. (I caught up with Remus before he just like teleported home and asked him where he lived, he told me way to quickly).

I shoved my keys that I've been fidgeting with up until now into my front pocket then more gently placed my headphones into my other pocket. I don't want them to know I carry things after all.

After a moment I took to attempt to calm my nerves I knocked on the door.

I heard some shuffling and muffled talking on the other side of the door before it opened revealing two people who I would assume are the twins parents.

From just looking at them they looked like a stereotypical straight couple but I mean I don't like to assume

I put on a polite smile (it probably looked more like a smirk but oh well) and told them why I was there.

They told who I think was Roman in the other room to go get Remus then invited me in.

When I walked over here I really just wanted to ask Remus a quick question and go, none of this dramatic-ness was needed.

Who knew they were all like this and it's not just the twins.

Once Roman finally got Remus and ended the awkward silence that was happening their parents and I, he lead me into his room. Which scared me greatly.

"So, you purple haired emo, may I ask why you've shown up at my place of residence?" He asked after closing the door.

"I've decided to ignore the purple haired emo thing. But I'm here because I wanted to know if you did the thing I told you to do." I replied pulling my hood up suddenly self conscious about the color of my hair.

"Oh yes of course, I did in fact punch my brother! He should have a bruise by tomorrow!"

"Great. I'll be leaving now." I said starting for the door.

Right when I was about to leave I heard Remus mumble under his breath.

"Dr. Picani is gonna have a field day with this one..."

I whipped around to look at him again.

"Picani? Like Emile Picani? The therapist that makes a bunch of cartoon references?"

He nodded then smirked.

"What, do you see him to?"

I shook my head.

"No, I'm just surprised Roman does... Picani is my dad actually..." I mumbled still surprised.

"Oh the plot thickens, how interesting. Well you have fun with that inner turmoil! I have homework to do so please get out!" Remus said pretending like he actually cares about his education.

I gladly left his room and almost ran right into Roman. He was standing right outside the door being a creep probably listening in on out conversation.

That would explain why he's looking at me all confused.

"Princey why are you just right outside the door?" I asked accusingly.

"What does it look like, but that doesn't matter so you're telling me that Dr. Picani is your dad? I thought that was Remy?" He asked sounding quite distressed.

"Roman, you fool. How could you not realize. I've literally said 'dads' around you. Dont be close minded, because well I'm sure you know." I said kinda disappointed in my soulmate.

"Oh my fairy godmother. You're adopted."

I actually face palmed.

"Yes. I am, that's not important at this moment."

Roman looked like he was about to say something but was cut off by my phone starting to do the apple default ringtone in my pocket.

I flinched slightly at the sudden sound then tried to push down the anxiety as I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

It was my dad, the one who works at Starbucks most likely so he gets a discount on coffee, calling me.

He normally just texts me, this can't be good.

"Do you mind if I..?" I asked Roman quickly.

"It's fine. He said.

I then actually answered my phone somehow before it stopped ringing.

"Hello?" I asked hesitantly.

"Hey Virge, you're not home what's up with that?" He asked me in his normal tone not sounding mad at all.

"Oh I uh wanted to talk to an... acquaintance and he didn't live far away. I thought I would be home by now but we got a bit sidetracked." I replied.

"Okay, glad you're leaving the house voluntarily. I just wanted to know where you are so I could tell your dad when he gets home, I'll let you back to it."

"I was actually just about to start walking home." I said glancing at Roman who had his head tilted slightly.

"Okay, see you soon-ish then, bye" he said drawing out the "bye" then hanging up.

"If you're leaving I could give you a ride..." Roman said almost sheepishly.

"I'm not against that... but I'm gonna ignore your existence and just listen to my music." I said pulling my headphones out of my pocket.

"Yeah I thought as much."
