Vallery's POV

I rolled the empty bottle over the sweet dough again before crouching, my eyes at the level of the kitchen island.

Perfect.

Just perfect.

The substance had a smooth surface but before I got to bake it, I had to cut it.

"Get your rocks off, get your rocks off, honey..." I took the biggest circular cutter and pressed it into the dough. "Shake it now now, get 'em off downtown..."

"Good morning, Val," Nat greeted, entering the kitchen and suddenly halting. "What are you doing?"

"Shaking my butt to Rocks while making cookies, obviously." I pressed with the cutter once more and cookie number two was shaped. "Creeps a keep crawling, drunks a keep falling..."

"Ermm, did you make the dough, Val?" My twin asked with such fright I would've been insulted had I not remembered the massive quantities of inedible 'dough' we threw out the last time I tried to make the stuff.

"Don't worry, bro, it's pre-made," I reassured him just as his shirtless boyfriend walked in as well. "Looking good, Hunt!"

I woof-whistled.

"Looking weird, Val," was his reply.

"Don't worry, she bought the dough..." Nat began, but was cut off by Hunter's morning kiss. Well, they slept in the same room so it probably wasn't the first morning kiss.

"Worry all you want, laugh all you want, but I'm gonna bake the shit outta these babies and then decorate them in such a way, you'll all bow down before me and sing praises of my creativity."

"Yeah, right," Hunter muttered, commencing a raid on our fridge.

"Don't eat too much," I reprimanded. "Leave some room in your stomach for the cookies. That goes for you as well, bro."

"I'll only have a couple of cookies, sis," he replied. "I've got to lose weight."

"You look just fine to me," I said after giving him the once-over.

Had he been comparing himself to Hunter again?

"I want to change my body," he insisted and I knew the answer to my question: yep, he had.

"I should eat less and work out more..."

"I know of something to get rid of those extra calories." Hunter's wink was combined with his mischievous smirk and my brother's cheeks turned rosy.

"Do you even have anything to decorate the cookies with?" The younger boy inquired on an entirely different topic as was his fashion when his boyfriend made such insinuations.

"Sure. There's some cream powder in the drawler," I pointed to said drawler, "and I bought sprinkles, chocolate chips and food coloring from the store yesterday."

"You know you can use the rest of the dough when you are done cutting, right?" Hunter questioned in between bites from a pickle.

"Yes, I just make it into a ball, go over it with the bottle and cut it again; I'm not an idiot."

He picked a second pickle from the jar - a bigger one this time - tilted his head back and put all of it into his mouth.

"I bet Nat appreciates that." I wriggled my eyebrows.

Hunter laughed while my brother went even redder.

"Shouldn't Raiden be here by now?" He hurried to change the subject again.

"He's probably still sleepy because of how late the party ended." I shrugged and placed the cutouts into a baking pan which already had some of that fancy non-stick paper sheet on it. "Just let the boy get some rest; he's the one who is going to have to do most of the cleaning up anyway."

I put my creations in the pre-heated oven.

See?

I knew what I was doing.

"Aren't you going to look at the time?" My brother suggested. "So you'll know when to take them out?"

"And here I thought the oven was going to text me." I rolled my eyes. "It's cool; I'll just occasionally check on them."

He shook his head in doubt.

"Don't worry, bro; I've got it all under control."

Raiden's POV

"My dick is green."

Even if Liam had not just woke me up after a night of tidying up after his friends, I'd still have a hard time one - figuring out what he was doing in my room, and two - figuring out what the Hell he meant by his peeing instrument being green.

Was I dreaming?

I was sleepy; you couldn't be sleepy in a dream, right?

Right.

So it had to be real.

Was this some sort of a slang saying?

Or maybe he was trying to mess with me?

It was too early for him to joke around, but maybe he'd been too drunk to sleep and got bored. I turned around and pulled the soft comforter over my head, fully intent on ignoring him.

No such luck.

The fabric was pulled off of me and an even more frantic 'Dude, Liam Jr. is green' irritated my ears, but it was the phrase 'Just look at it' that made me roll around and jump off the bed with my hands shielding my eyes.

"I am not looking at your pecker, Liam!" I shouted even louder than he had. And yet he managed to surpass my volume with his next words:

"It's green, man; it's green! What am I supposed to do?"

"Go wash it; that might help." I was talking to the wall - or where I assumed the wall should be - with my palms still over my eyes. "God knows where you shoved it last night."

"Nowhere it hasn't been before. Only not with this girl. Dude, what if she gave me something?"

He sounded terrified. So terrified, I almost turned around to face him.

"Did you use rubber?"

"Of course I used rubber! I always use rubber... most of the time."

'Most of the time'...

Idiot!

"Liam, think hard; did you use any protection last night?"

"Yes, I did."

"And were you sober enough to know that for sure?"

"I was sober enough to remember it, yes," he slowly confirmed.

"And you are sure your instrument is green?"

"For fuck's sake, Raiden! I might not know what fancy colors like beige and salmon are, but I know green! It. Is. Green!" He screamed the last word.

I sighed and shook my head.

"Alright. I'm going to turn around, but only if you put it back in your pants... You are wearing pants, right?"

I shivered at the thought of him naked. We used to bathe together as kids, but that was a long time ago.

"Done."

"You promise? Because if it is out when I turn, I'm not helping you."

I heard a zipper slide before he replied:

"Alright, now it's done."

"So you lied to me the first time?" I asked when I swirled to face him, keeping my gaze forward, making sure it was indeed his face I was looking at.

He shrugged.

Great.

He forces me to co-host a party I didn't want to be at, as a result I get to clean up after a bunch of drunken teens and young adults, he then asks me for help and lies to me; what a wonderful role model my older brother was.

"Tell me what happened," I prompted.

"I woke up, got up to piss and while I was doing my thing I saw that my penis is green. Not the whole of it; it's like it has these spots..." His voice became half-pitched. "You think that chick gave me moss?"

"Gave you wh..." I began, but halted. My eyes narrowed at his stupidity. "Fungus. It's called fungus, Liam."

"Whatever." He waived his hands at me and I stepped back lest we accidently made contact after he'd been holding his member. "You think it could be that?"

"I don't know." It was my turn to shrug. "Maybe."

"Bro! I'm in trouble here. Some sympathy would be nice."

"Well, what am I supposed to do?" My voice jumped a few levels up once more. "I'm not a doctor."

His mouth and eyes rounded and his face lit up.

"Doctor! Yeah, that's what I need."

"You mean to tell me you suppose a girl gave you an STD and your first thought was to wake me up and not to go to a doctor?"

Liam did not reply, he just looked away.

No wonder Val calls him the Stupid O'Brien...

Wait...

Val.

Could she...?

I shook my head.

No.

She wouldn't touch my brother's privates with a dozen layers of gloves on her and a bucket of bleach within an arm's reach for afterwards. It was more likely Liam caught something from his latest hook-up. But Liam Jr. - as my brother put it - turning green over night?

"Get out so I can get dressed; I'll drive you to the doctor." I was already reaching for my jeans as I said that.

"Really?"

I halted on my way to my wardrobe - jeans hanging from my left hand - and frowned at him.

"Are you seriously surprised after all I've done and keep doing for you?"

"That's what brothers are for," he pointed out.

"Well, I'm still waiting for you to return the favor. Now out!"

I turned my back to him and rummaged through my clothes. The door of my room closed behind me. As I was putting on a white t-shirt, I couldn't help but glance through the window at the Reed's house.

Could she...?

*****

A/N: Was it confusing that I didn't write whose POV it was? Do you prefer it like this or with "Val's POV", "Nat's POV", etc. on top?

Do you like Val's surprise for the boys or do you think baking cookies will end in disaster?

Any guesses what could be wrong with Liam? Could Val have anything to do with that?

Tell me what you think in the comments and support the chapter with a VOTE if you enjoyed it!

Also, don't forget to check the interview. One of the questions is about Val and Hunt ;)
