[35] Aftermath
Swords swung, and axes hacked. Arrows flew, and fire danced. The battle dragged on for another 5 minutes, before the boss finally came to its knees.
Is it over?
There was a brilliant flash of blue light, as the boss exploded into a million tiny blue particles, and soon faded into nothingness. The boss battle was over.
"Yo Riga!" Exile trotted up to me, with one side of his coat ripped open, exposing part of his chest.
"Yes?" I clutched my staff nervously.
"Not bad for a first time boss battle. But next time remember to go around the front line, not in front of it." He grinned.
"Oh ok, I understand."
"I am counting on you next time man. Now let's see the others."
It didn't take long to find the rest of the others. And out of all of us, Piphra looked the least effected, as not a pint of dust touched her clothes.
"I'm tired! I need a cute girl too hug..." Sioux said as she latched her self onto Enju.
"Get off me! I hate you!" Enju protested, as she tried to pry away Sioux's demonic grasp.
"Cute grill..." Sioux said with raspy voice as she held onto Enju for several more seconds, before finally pulled away by Eziel.
"Let me go! What are you doing!" Sioux thrashed around, as Eziel threw her onto his shoulder.
"It's a long day, let's all get some rest." Eziel turned and spoke. "We'll meet again tomorrow at 6 pm."
"En..." I nodded.
"Hai!" Enju responded cheerfully.
Just like that, Eziel carried Sioux out of sight. And once it was just us, Enju turned to me and said:
"Riga, Riga!"
"Yes," I replied with a ragged breath, "what is it?"
"Did you see his muscles? I want to touch them!" Enju giggled frantically.
"Ahem." A soft voice coughed up from behind. We turned and looked.
"Riga." Piphra said blankly.
"En..." I nodded slightly, not knowing how to respond.
"You haven't added me to your friend list." Piphra said, her face still an enigma.
There was a long pause as I processed her words and wondered whether or not, I should get my ears checked.
Someone wanting to add me as a friend? Just, just...WTF?
"Master..." Enju whispered as she tapped me on the shoulder. "Say something..."
"Oh! Oooo..." I snapped back to Piphra. "Sure let's add friend. It's just no one..." I stopped myself.
A windowed popped in front of me.
"Player [Piphra] wants to add you to her friends list. [Accept] [Decline]?"
I bore my eyes at the screen, as I felt my heart shifted a little, just a little...
Is it real?...
Then I caught a glimpse of Piphra's poker face narrowing a little.
"Of course no problem!..." I clicked the accept button, as I scratched my head like a nervous wreck.
"Let's hurry to the town now. I need to sleep now..." she stifled a cute yawn, and began to walk away.
Enju and I looked to each other for a moment, then hurried after her.
