August 10 2023 (One Year Later)

An year has past since the final beatdown with Finn Balor, Desmond won the fight in a brutal match and everyone in the school respected and loved Desmond, His popularity continued to rise and his friends and family felt so happy for him.

Shortly after the fight, Finn dropped out of school from the embarrassment he had to face and was never to be seen, which made Desmond relieved, knowing that Finn wasn't going to trouble him and Disha

Things have been going well in Desmond's life, He has a part time job and has a good payment, his mom also found another good job with a good salary and it isn't stressful like her other job.

He also doesn't get aggressive and angry as often as before, He's more calm and can control his temper. He also has stopped getting into illegal fights, but he still trains with Bobby.

University life has also been going well for him and his friends, Right now, the time is 10 a.m. as Desmond was seen talking to his friends.

Evan: Man, I can't believe we are in university.

Cody: Time files, but I'm glad we are here together.

Benjamin: That's right, I can't forget the fun times we had in high school.

Desmond: Those times were amazing for sure.

Cody: Especially when you beat the brains out of Finn.

Evan: And his friends as well!

Desmond: *Chuckles* You guys still remember that?

Roxanne: It's a memory we can never forget. Plus, it felt so good knowing how much you beat that jerk up.

Benjamin: I had the same feeling as well.

Desmond chuckled as the friends continued talking to each other until they heard the bell ringing.

Cody: Oh well, it's class. It's class. It's time for us to go.

Desmond: My class doesn't start until fifteen minutes.

Evan: Same here.

Benjamin: Lucky, We have to get going now.

Roxanne: Let's go, Love!

Benjamin: Right behind you, milady.

Desmond: You two should just get married now.

Roxanne started blushing as Benjamin was shocked, Evan, Cody, and Desmond began laughing.

Benjamin: Shut up, Desmond!

Desmond: *Laughs* I'm kidding, See you all later.

Benjamin gave a side eye and walked away with Roxanne as She was smiling at Benjamin.

A few hours passed as the time was four p.m, Desmond was seen in his dorm, talking to his mom and sister on the phone about how university has been going for him.

Crowe smiled and hung up the phone before he decided to call someone he hadn't spoken to for some time. Desmond dialled the number and was waiting until the call was answered.

Desmond: *On Call* Hey Bobby!

Bobby: Hey, Desmond! Haven't heard your voice in some time, kid!

Desmond: *Chuckles* Yeah, the university is going on plus my new part-time job.

Bobby: That part-time job isn't about punching people, right?

Desmond: *Laughs* No, it's not.

Bobby chuckled as both of them continued talking to each other.

Desmond: Anyways, how is it going for you since we last spoke to each other?

Bobby: It's going good, kid. I took your advice and decided to visit my mother and brother to make amends.

Desmond; Oh really? How did it go?

Bobby: It was a long and emotional talk we had. . . . But they forgive me

Desmond couldn't help but smile and feel happy for Bobby.

Desmond: I'm really happy to hear about that.

Bobby: Same here, I think if you didn't give me that advice, I would have never seen them again in my life.

Desmond: Its okay, They are still your family even after everything that has happened.

Bobby: You're right. . . . I gotta say thank you.

Desmond: *Smiles* Where is the tough guy I knew?

Bobby: Oh, shut it, Desmond. *Chuckles* Everything has changed for good, though. And you were part of it

Desmond: You don't have to thank me, Bobby. After all, you also did so much for me, even if you were just my instructor.

They smiled, and both continued talking to each other and catched up until they hung up the call.

Crowe smiled to himself and began having memories of his high school days until he had a message on his phone as he saw it was a video.

Disha: Hey Handsome! Come see me, I missed you!

Desmond couldn't help but smile and knew that Disha must have left the university to go out, Crowe immediately got up and changed his clothes.

Soon, Desmond was outside as He was at Disha's favourite park which was the same park they confessed their feelings, Disha always loves going here because all of the memories.

Desmond was looking around until he heard a whistle as Crowe turned around and saw her dancing.

Desmond had a smile on his face and watched her dance before he began walking towards her as Disha smiled and stopped dancing as she fixed her hair.

Desmond: New dance moves, huh?

Disha: You can say that, What do you think of it?

Desmond: Beautiful, Just like you.

Disha: Aww, you're even more handsome, though.

Desmond smiled and pulled her close as Disha smirked at him while Desmond was staring at her.

Disha: What are you looking at?

Desmond: Just zooming into your eyes.

Disha: *Laughs* Desmond! Are you on Google again?

Desmond: Maybe?

They both shared a laugh together as Desmond and Disha decided to sit by the bench while holding his hands.

Disha: I honestly can't believe it's been an year.

Desmond; Same here, I can't believe it as well.

Disha: *Smiles* But it is a dream to go to university, Eventhough university can be stressful.

Desmond: To be honest, In life, we have to go through stressful times, but we still must choose happiness over anything.

Disha: Your correct about that.

Desmond: And you are my happiness, Something I'll choose then anything else.

Disha couldn't help but smile as she looked at Desmond.

Disha: Four words, Desmond. Do you know what it is?

Desmond: *Smiles* Tell me.

Disha: You own my heart.

Crowe smiled and wrapped his arm around her as She spoke to him.

Disha: You mean the world to me as well.

Both of them smiled at each other as Desmond and Disha were looking around the park as they began remembering their high school days which made them smile.

Desmond: Hey Disha, Wanna get a smoothie?

Disha: Sure!

Desmond; *Smiles* Also can I tell you something?

Disha: Yeah, What is it?

Desmond: Am I still your fighter?

Disha had a smile on her face as Crowe was smiling at her until she pulled him for a kiss as both of them shared a kiss until she broke it.

Disha: You always will be.

Desmond had a huge smile on his face until he pulled her again as both of them shared another kiss together.
