It was the next day as today was a weekend, Desmond just finished training in the gym with Bobby while learning new moves. Both of them were on good terms again after Bobby found out about Desmond's past, which made him really sad, Crowe even explained more about his strained relationship with his mother

Right now, Bobby and Desmond were talking to each other as Bobby had a question for him.

Bobby: So why exactly have you been learning mixed martial arts?

Desmond decided to be honest with him as He began explaining what happened in the party with Finn along with how Balor provoked Desmond about his father. He explained further before ending it where Finn wanted a challenge from Desmond.

Bobby: Hearing this makes me want to punch that guy in the face

Desmond: I agree, I just want to make sure to win and defeat him. I want him to learn his lesson.

Bobby was silent and looked at Desmond as He said something.

Bobby: Hey, just be careful, okay? Don't overwork yourself, and most importantly, be careful with what choice you make.

Desmond: I will, but what do you mean by that?

Bobby: It's nothing, I'm just making sure you don't get hurt. I know how it feels when someone calls out your loved one.

Desmond nodded as Bobby was looking at the ground while thinking about something, They continued talking more before Desmond left the gym.

Bobby was watching Desmond walk away. However, Lashley was feeling a bit worried when he heard about the beatdown Desmond was going to have with Finn.

Later on, the time was seven p.m as Desmond was seen helping his sister with her homework as Crowe was looking at the book before he spoke to her.

Desmond: Hey, We can finish this later. Besides, it's a weekend

Lexy: I know, but I just want to be prepared.

Desmond: You will do great, Sis. I believe in you.

Lexy nodded and closed the book as Desmond was looking at her before Lexy smiled and said something.

Lexy: You know, when you help me with my homework, I always remember Dad. He always helped both of us with our homework.

Desmond: *Smiles* Yeah, especially with my math test. I was really worried that day, because if I failed. Mom would take the xbox away from me.

Lexy: *Laughs* But dad came in the rescue.

They both shared a good laugh together, but Desmond was feeling emotional and sad but still kept the smile on his face.

Lexy: Hey, whenever we save up more money, We should buy another console.

Desmond: I'm thinking we should buy the PlayStation 5 next time.

Lexy: Yes!! I'm been wanting that!

Desmond chuckled and nodded before he heard his mother calling him downstairs as Crowe narrowed his eyes.

Lexy: Desmond, Mom needs you.

Desmond: Does she always remember me when she needs to buy something?

Lexy was looking at him as Desmond sighed and got up, She looked sad and decided to check what was happening. Soon, they were downstairs as Desmond saw his mother sitting on the sofa as She looked at him.

Jenna: Are you busy?

Desmond: No. . . I'm not.

Lately, He noticed that his mother was speaking to him softly after the argument. Jenna was looking at him as She got up.

Jenna: Can we talk?

She said it quietly as Desmond didn't expect her to say that, He was silent and just nodded as Jenna spoke to him.

Jenna: I think I made a huge mistake, These last few months weren't the best for the three of us.

Desmond stared at her in shock as Jenna was looking at him before she took a deep breath and said something.

Jenna: You know, Lexy finally knocked some sense on me. Maybe I was wrong, and I just overreacted from your father's death.

Desmond looked sad as Jenna was tearing up.

Jenna: I just couldn't believe he was gone, I thought it was a nightmare when i got the call. And I was even thinking, How can a normal housewife start working day and night for her children's? Especially trying to keep a roof on our heads, feeding and keeping up with your education.

Desmond looked at the ground as Jenna began wiping her tears, and her voice began to be shaky. Desmond knew how much Jenna loved her husband and hearing his death broke her heart.

Jenna: But instead, I overreacted and placed all the blame on you. Am I even a mother?

Desmond: Mom. . . .

She wiped her tears again as Desmond touched her shoulder before Jenna continued speaking to him.

Jenna: I was just scared because of your violent behaviour, but now I realised I caused it.

Desmond: You didn't do anything. . . It was my fault.

Jenna: No, it's my fault. Would you and Lexy even stay with me after everything?

Desmond: Of course I'll stay with you.

Jenna looked at Desmond in the eye, finally feeling the mother and son connection. Jenna began to cry before she hugged Desmond tightly as Desmond hugged her back.

Desmond: I'm gonna be here for you, Mom. I'm never leaving you

Jenna: I'm so sorry. . . I'm really sorry.

Desmond: I'm even more sorry, Mom.

Desmond finally felt a weight off his shoulder and felt peace in his heart as they continued hugging until Jenna broke the hug and smiled at Desmond, That was the first time he saw his mother have a smile on her face.

Jenna: You really forgive me?

Desmond: I do forgive you. Everything went downhill, but Dad wants us to be happy, okay? We are here to support each other.

Jenna: That's what I wanted to hear, Thank you, Desmond.

Desmond smiled at her, which made Jenna feel really happy, Both of them smiled at each other until they heard Lexy say something.

Lexy: *Smiles* Did both of you forget about me?

They both turned and saw Lexy as Jenna had a smile while speaking to Desmond.

Jenna: Desmond, This is the same little sister that made me realise the truth, Is she really little?

Desmond: *Chuckles* Of course, She's always my little sister.

Jenna: Of course, you are gonna be the one spoiling her.

They all shared a small laugh together before Lexy ran and hugged her mother as Desmond felt so happy as He continued smiling at them.

Soon, the trio were sharing a nice talk after months of arguments, They continued talking while cracking some jokes until Desmond opened his messages and found thrity unread messages.

Ten came from Benjamin, six were from Cody, and the other seven were from Roxanne, They even called him a few times since Desmond didn't speak to anyone for two days.

But most messages and calls came from Disha, Desmond was shocked as he felt really bad for her and his friends.

Jenna noticed his expression as She said something to him.

Jenna: Is everything okay, Desmond?

Desmond: Oh yeah, everything is good, but I actually have to go meet someone.

Jenna: Oh, I see. Well, come back safely.

Desmond; I will, Take care of yourselves.

Crowe messaged Disha before he left the house as Jenna had a smile on her face and felt happier than before.

Meanwhile, Desmond was walking through the streets. He told her to meet him in the same park they were at a few days ago, but Disha wasn't answering his messages.

Desmond was scared that maybe she didn't want to speak to him anymore. Even though she knows his problems, He felt he avoided her completely then before.

Crowe sighed to himself until he heard footsteps as He turned around and saw who it was.

Disha was staring at Desmond, She didn't look happy, but she did feel relieved seeing Desmond.

Desmond stared at her as the wind was blowing, Crowe cleared his throat as he tried to joke with her.

Desmond: *Smiles a little* Uhh, it's just been two days

Disha: But what you did for those two days was really rude.

Desmond sighed and looked at her, He didn't like seeing her angry as Disha was staring at him.

Desmond: I know. . . But why didn't you answer my messages, at least?

Disha: Why didn't you answer me then?

Desmond: Alright, that was actually dumb of me to ask.

Disha shook her head as Desmond was looking at her before he looked a little sad.

Desmond: Hey, I'm really sorry. Don't be mad at me.

Disha: Desmond, look, I know you need a break because of your problems, but how you just ignored and avoided me was something I didn't like at all.

Desmond was silent as Disha sighed and spoke softly.

Disha: I was worried about you as well. When your friends didn't hear from you, I felt breaking your door down.

Desmond chuckled as Disha was staring at him before he wanted to be more serious as he grabbed Disha's hand.

Desmond: I know, I'm really sorry. I promise I won't do that again

Disha: *Sighs* It's okay.

Desmond: You're still mad right?

Disha: Maybe a little, But I'm relieved to see you.

Desmond Seeing you makes me feel better but how am I going to tell you something?

Disha: What is it?

Desmond: That me and your ex boyfriend are going to be in a beatdown in an underground fight club.

Disha was shocked as Desmond was looking at her.

Disha: He still hasn't left you alone!?

Desmond: Why would he? He lost his girlfriend, popularity, his friends. He won't give up until he wins.

Disha: I don't even get what's his problem, Did you accepted it though?

Desmond: I did, I'm being prepared for this fight.

Disha: Why did you-

Desmond: Disha, How can I let go of a man that made fun of my father?

Disha was silent and understood that very well as Desmond looked at her.

Desmond: And he is the same man that tried to hurt you. I'm not gonna let him go easily.

Disha: *Smiles* You really care about me?

Desmond and Disha got closer as They both looked at eachother in the eye and felt their heart beating fast as Desmond was hesitating to speak.

Desmond: Of course I do. You filled my darkness with light

Disha was looking at him before having a small smile on her face as Desmond was looking at her.

Disha: I'm happy to hear about that, I'm always here for you Desmond.

Desmond smiled as Both of them were staring at each other before Disha grabbed both of his shoulder as Desmond pulled her close to him as they were staring at each other.

Desmond/Disha: Desmond/Disha?

They both said it at the same time as they both chuckled before Disha spoke to him.

Disha: You know, I can't lie about my feelings anymore.

Desmond: I can't lie as well. I loved you since the day I met you.

He finally confessed Disha was staring at him and felt her heart beating fast as Desmond spoke to her.

Desmond: You done so much to make me feel happier and loved, Something that I needed since my father's passing a few months ago.

Disha: You made me give another chance for love. You made me believe that I can love someone again.

They both smiled and touched each other's foreheads as Both of them said it at the same time.

Desmond/Disha: I love you.

Both of them shared a kiss as they broke the kiss a minute later, The new couple smiled at each other.

Desmond: *Chuckles* I feel. . . Different.

Disha: It's because your being loved again. Something that you deserve.

She smiled at him before Desmond grabbed both of her cheeks and kissed her forehead.

Disha felt happy and loved, Something she never felt when she dated Finn. Patani knew that Desmond was the right person for her.

Desmond: Hey, I actually wanna go meet my friends, I haven't spoken to them as well.

Disha: Sure, Can I come with you?

Desmond: Of course.

They both smiled and held hands as Desmond was messaging his mom that he was going to be out for a while and even messaged his friends.

Soon, Desmond and Disha went to Cody's house and reunited with all his friends, His friends began to tease the new couple as well as everyone had a great time together.
