It was the next day as Desmond was training with Bobby Lashley, Desmond got some good strikes on Bobby and countered his attacks well, He continued to improve himself with the help of watching MMA matches as well.

Bobby was going to hit a combo of strikes to Desmond, but Crowe managed to block it, which impressed Bobby as They continued training.

But as they were training, Desmond began to remember Finn's words about his father and even had memories of how he was blamed for his father's death, His blood boiled before he roared and punched Bobby hard in the face before realising what he did.

Bobby: Oww! What was that for?

Desmond closed his fist and was silent before Bobby punched him in the face as Crowe was touching his cheek while trying to control his anger, knowing that it was his mistake.

Desmond; Ow. . . I think I deserve that.

Bobby: Of course, you just punched me out of the blue.

Desmond: Sorry, Mister Lashley.

Bobby just stared at him as Desmond was looking at him before they resumed their training. After some time, They were finally done as they were sitting down and resting up.

Bobby: You did great, but I'm still angry at you for that punch. What has gotten into you anyway?

Desmond: Look, I was just distracted.

Bobby: You say that all the time. Care to explain a little?

Desmond sighed to himself and didn't want to speak to him as Lashley was looking at him until Desmond said something.

Desmond: I don't want to talk about it, but I just regret it a lot

Bobby: You basically hate yourself?

Desmond: I really do hate myself.

The guilt and regret is something he could never get over. Desmond can't move on knowing this was his mistake.

Instead of Bobby giving his intimidating look, He looked like he understood how Desmond was feeling, even after being harsh to his students. Bobby felt something different with him.

He patted his shoulder, which surprised Desmond since he would never do something like that as Bobby said something.

Bobby: You should know your worth, Kid.

Desmond looked at him and was silent as Bobby was looking at him.

Bobby: Don't let yourself down, Remember that.

Desmond: Uh, thanks. . .

Bobby: I know. It's odd hearing this from a tough guy like me. But I don't want to look like a cold dirt bag to you.

Desmond chuckled as Bobby had a small smile on his face until Desmond had a message on his phone as He saw who it was from.

Disha: Hey Desmond! Where are you? I'm been waiting for you outside the school. I hope you're doing okay. ♡

He realised that he was late for school from the training session. But Desmond couldn't help but smile at the message as he responded to her.

Bobby: Is that coming from a girl?

Desmond: How do you know??

Bobby: You're smiling like an idiot to your phone.

Desmond rolled his eyes as Bobby smiled at him. The two joked a little and shared a laugh together before Desmond went to take a shower in the gym bathroom before changing into his casual clothes.

He said goodbye to Bobby and shared a fist bump as both of them were starting to get along with each other.

Sometime later, at school. Desmond was running to the school until he saw Disha standing and waiting for him as she noticed him.

Desmond: Hey Disha! I'm so sorry for making you wait.

Disha: It's fine, Desmond. I was worried that you were sick or something.

Desmond: *Smiles* No, I just got a little busy with something.

Disha: It's okay! I wanted to give you a cupcake that I bought from the store.

Disha gave him the cupcake as Desmond smiled and opened the wrapper as they were smiling at each other.

Desmond: Thank you so much, Disha.

Disha: You're welcome! Oh, and by the way, my parents are going to be out with my relatives tonight, and I'm not really going. So I was thinking about inviting you to my house, My friends are also coming over.

Desmond Sure, I'll like to come over tonight.

Disha: Awesome! You can bring your friends over as well.

Desmond: Alright, I'll ask them about it.

They smiled at each other as they were walking around the hallway and were talking about the homework they both did yesterday.

Eight P.M

Desmond reached Disha's house as He was texting his friends, and they said that they were going to come in a couple of minutes. Though Evan wasn't joining them since he had to finish some homework, which they understood from him.

He rang the doorbell as the door opened as he saw Mandy.

Mandy: Hey Desmond!

Desmond: Oh hey Mandy, is Disha inside?

Mandy: Haha. Of course she is, Romeo.

Desmond gave a strange look to her as Mandy smiled at him before he entered the house as he saw Pooja and Rashmika sitting on the couch as they smiled at him.

Pooja: Hey there!

Desmond smiled and said, "Hi" to them as He sat on the couch and spoke to Pooja, Rashmika, and Mandy.

Soon, Desmond's friends arrived at the house as they were looking around the house.

Roxanne: Wow, the house looks beautiful.

Benjamin: Very traditional as well, Love it.

Cody: That's true, It looks amazing.

Desmond: You're right, By the way, where is Disha at?

Rashmika: She's in the kitchen, She's getting some juice for everyone.

Desmond: Oh, I see.

Cody: Yeah, of course you're waiting for her.

Desmond glared at Cody as Roxanne and Benjamin decided to tease him.

Roxanne: Admit it, Desmond. You can't take your eyes off her face.

Desmond: Come on, Roxanne-

Benjamin: She's telling the truth. You're in love, and you're not admitting it.

Desmond just chuckled as Pooja, Rashmika, and Mandy were smiling at Desmond until they heard Disha's voice as she was walking towards them while holding a tray.

Disha: Hey, everyone! I got some mango juice, I made it from the juice blender.

Desmond was staring at Disha as She had a huge smile on her face as Crowe continued staring at her.

She placed the tray on the table as Desmond had a huge smile on her face as Disha played some music on the speakers.

They were all drinking juice while listening to the romantic song as Desmond couldn't stop looking at Disha as Benjamin, Cody, and Roxanne were teasing him.

Cody: Look who's falling in love right now.

Desmond: No, I'm not.

He smiled and looked at his friends before Benjamin grabbed his chin and turned it to Disha as Desmond tried to turn away, but Benjamin did it again as He laughed while Desmond looked at Dish

Disha noticed him and had a smile on her face as Desmond turned away while Roxanne and Cody were laughing.

Disha continued staring at Desmond until she noticed Pooja smiling at her.

Pooja: How cute.

Disha just stared at Pooja as the group was talking to each other while cracking some jokes and playing music while having different snacks and drinks.

They continued having fun and played UNO together while sharing a good laugh and had a lot of fun.

Soon, Disha entered the kitchen to throw something until she saw Desmond washing the glasses as she looked at him.

Disha: Desmond, Leave the glasses. I'll wash it myself.

Desmond: It's okay, I got it.

Disha: Don't do that, Desmond-

She almost slipped from the water on the ground, but Desmond grabbed her as both of them were holding each other's arms as Disha was staring at him.

Desmond: Are you okay?

Disha: I'm okay. . . Thanks.

She continued staring at him and had a smile on her face as Desmond smiled and said something.

Desmond: I was actually gonna tell you about the water below.

Disha: Yeah, sorry. I didn't see it.

Desmond: It's okay, Dont worry about it.

He finished washing the glasses as Disha was smiling at him.

Disha: You're such a gentleman.

Desmond fixed his hair and smiled while thanking her before they walked back to the living room as they continued talking to each other.

The time was now ten p.m. Desmond looked at the time and noticed it was getting really late.

Desmond: Sorry everyone, but I have to go now. It's getting late.

Mandy: Stay here for a little bit?

Desmond: No, I need to be home right now. It's ten p.m

Benjamin: Oof, I need to get going as well.

Cody: Same here. But we all had a really fun time.

Disha: You're right, My parents might come soon. Take care of yourselves.

They all smiled and said goodbye to each other as Disha and Desmond were looking at each other while smiling before they left the house.

While Desmond was gonna get on his bike, He noticed his friends wanted to talk to him.

Cody: Hey man, Thanks for inviting us.

Roxanne: It was really fun, actually.

Desmond: No problem at all.

Benjamin: Yeah, but in all seriousness, do you actually like Disha?

Desmond: Wow, again, we are diving into that?

Cody: Listen, We aren't joking this time, actually.

Desmond looked at the ground and knew he couldn't lie about his feelings anymore.

Desmond: Yeah. . I do. Since I met her, I have liked her.

His friends had a smile on their face before Desmond said something.

Desmond: But I don't think she's gonna like me.

Roxanne: Why Not? You're a great person, Desmond.

Desmond: Don't get me wrong, you don't know a lot about me.

Cody: Look, We do know about you. But you shouldn't let yourself down like that.

Roxanne: Believe me, I know she will like you.

Desmond: I don't know, honestly. . .

Benjamin: Everything will be okay, You're a good guy, Desmond. She deserves you.

Desmond nodded and was thinking about it before Benjamin smiled and touched his shoulder.

Benjamin: Remember, love happens slowly. She will love you.

Desmond looked at him and smiled a little as they all had a smile on their faces.

Meanwhile, Disha was sitting on the couch while listening to her friend's talk as Rashmika said something.

Rashmika: Are you thinking about Desmond again?

Disha: No, I'm not, Why do you girls keep saying that?

Mandy: We can see it very well, Disha. You like him.

Disha: No. . I don't.

Pooja: Be honest with us, Disha.

Disha: Honestly, I don't know if I'm ready. After what happened with Finn, I don't know if I can love anyone.

Mandy: It's good that you got rid of Finn from your life, but Desmond has been there for you.

Rashmika; Maybe you really do love him.

Disha: I'm worried, to be honest.

Pooja: Desmond is a great guy, He deserves to be with you. He's more kind and respectful.

Disha: I don't know if I'm ready, though.

Rashmika: It will take time. Besides, love happens slowly, remember?

Disha was silent as she had a small smile on her face and began thinking to herself. What if they were correct about her feelings? Maybe she never realised her feelings.
