School was starting as Lexy was seen grabbing her backpack and was getting ready for school. She noticed Desmond hadn't left his room for a while and was wondering if he was ready for school.

She was walking towards his room as Lexy heard some sounds coming from his room as Lexy opened the door.

Lexy: Um Desmond, Are you ready to go?

She noticed Desmond was already ready, and he was using his phone as Lexy saw something on the screen as She was confused.

Lexy: You're on Duolingo?

Desmond: Uh, yes.

Lexy: Really? I never knew you used that app.

Desmond: Well, I decided to try it out.

She smiled at Desmond and sat next to him as Lexy looked at the screen and noticed he was learning hindi.

Lexy: Ooooh, you wanna go to India or something?

Desmond: *Chuckles* Actually, I made a friend, and she's from India.

Lexy: That's great! And I didn't know you had "girl" friends.

Desmond: Come on, Lexy. She's a great person and friend. She's also really sweet, beautiful, and caring.

Lexy: Sounds like you have a crush on her.

Desmond: *Smiles* No, I don't.

Lexy: But you would never describe anyone like that.

Desmond just laughed as Lexy smiled while wrapping her arm around him and hugged him.

Lexy: Anyways, We should eat breakfast and head to school

Desmond: Of course, Is Mom still here?

Lexy: She already left, actually. She told me that she was going to be busy.

Desmond: No problem, let's go eat some cereals and then we will go to school.

Lexy smiled at him as both siblings left the room and pour cereals and milk on the bowl before sitting down and eating together while talking to each other.

Lexy: Hey Desmond, I was wondering if we could play tennis together after school.

Desmond: Sure, We can do that. I'll also cook something for mom if she comes home.

Lexy: Awesome!

Desmond smiled at her, no matter how busy he was. He still wanted to make time for his sister and mother.

Sometime later, Desmond dropped Lexy to her school as She said goodbye to him and watched him go away as She had a smile on her face.

She noticed how happy Desmond has been lately since he arrived in Florida, aside from the arguments and fights he caused. He's been socialising with his friends often and looks more happy then usual.

Meanwhile, Desmond made it to his school as he saw his friends waiting for him in the corridor as they smiled at him.

Cody: Here comes the man himself.

Benjamin: Hey Desmond! You gotta tell us about the date.

Roxanne: *Laughs* Sweety, He just arrived.

Evan: You gotta tell us, man. I'm been curious!

Desmond stared at his friends and had a smile on his face as He cleared his throat.

Desmond: The date that happened two days ago was really fun, Me and her got to know each other well, and everything went nicely.

Roxanne: Aww, how sweet!

Benjamin: Haha, I'm happy the date went really well for you.

Cody: Yeah, man, when you're ready. Ask her out on another date.

Evan: I'm happy to hear as well, but the question is, who did you go on a date with?

Roxanne: That puzzles me now. Who is she?

Desmond: Well-

???: Oh so you called it a date?

Disha had a smile on her face as Desmond was shocked that she heard everything that he said while his friends were surprised to see Disha and they were also confused.

Desmond: Disha, I-

Disha: *Laughs* It's okay, I don't mind if that was a date.

Benjamin: *Shocked* Wait a minute, You went out with her???

Evan: The most popular girl!?

Desmond was about to say something until Disha answered it for him.

Disha: Oh yeah, We went out to a restaurant two days ago. Desmond is a really nice friend, actually.

Cody: *Mutters to himself* Man, I can't even get a date.

Desmond: Exactly, Me and Disha have been good friends. I just never had the chance to get to know her more until our. . . Date.

Roxanne: Wow. . . I didn't expect this.

Benjamin: Me neither, But It's great to know you two had a fun time.

Evan: I even asked Desmond if I could come to the date, I could have eaten something good.

They all shared a laugh together as Desmond looked at Disha, who was smiling at him.

But unknown to them, Finn was looking at Disha and Desmond and knew how close they've been, which is boiling his blood.

A few hours passed, and school was over as Desmond was thinking about the math test they were going to have next week.

Until he heard Disha's voice as He turned around and looked at her as She smiled at him.

Disha: Hey Desmond, Are you free right now?

Desmond: Well, I need to go home and finish a few things, but I'll be free by then.

Disha: Okay! I was wondering if you could come to my house sometime later? I want you to meet my parents.

Desmond looked at her with shock as Disha was waiting for a response as Crowe spoke to her.

Desmond: Really?

Disha: Yes, I think they would like to meet you.

Desmond was thinking about for some time until he made his decision and thought it would be good to meet her parents.

Desmond: Sure, I'll come over to your house.

Disha: *Smiles* That's great! Can't wait to see you.

Desmond had a smile on his face as both of them were talking to each other as Desmond turned around and saw Benjamin winking at him while Cody, Evan and Roxanne were smiling at him as Crowe stared at him.

Disha continued talking to Desmond as She saw Pooja, Rashmika and Mandy smiling at her and Disha knew that Pooja must have told them about her being with Desmond often.

Later on, Desmond made it back home and rested up as he was thinking about the meeting with Disha's parents. He also played some tennis with Lexy and Both of them had a really fun time together.

Sometime later, Disha messaged him to come over and the time was five p.m. Desmond cooked a meal for his mother and told his sister that he was going to meet someone and Lexy was okay staying alone since their mother was going to be home soon.

Desmond left the house and fixed his outfit before getting on his bike and looked at the location Disha sent him and rided off.

Eventually, Desmond made it the house and rang on the doorbell as he was waiting until the door opened as Desmond saw Disha in front of him.

His eyes were widened by the saree she was wearing as Disha had a huge smile on her face.

Disha: Hey Desmond! Come inside.

Desmond was staring at her before he nodded as He walked inside the house which was really beautiful from the inside as Crowe was walking until he saw someone.

This is Madhuri Patani, She is Disha's mother.

Madhuri gave a kind smile to Desmond and waved at him as Desmond smiled at her and both of them shook hands.

Madhuri: Aap kaise hain? (How are you?)

Desmond understood what she said since he was learning as He replied to her.

Desmond: Mein theek ho, App kaisa hai? (I'm fine, How are you? )

Disha was shocked to hear Desmond speak in her language as Madhuri said she was doing fine, Disha told her mother that he only knew english and Madhuri knew english perfectly and smiled at Desmond.

Madhuri; No problem, Desmond. How about you sit down? I think Ajith is having a phone call right now.

Disha: My dad will come soon, You can sit down, Desmond.

Desmond nodded and sat down as Madhuri and Disha were also sitting as they were all talking to each other as Desmond was also introducing himself.

A few minutes past and they saw Disha's father walking towards them as he had a smile on his face.

Ajith Patani: Hello, Sorry if I was late. I was having a phone call.

Desmond: *Stands up* It's okay, My name is Desmond Crowe.

Ajith: Ohh, Desmond, Disha talked alot about you.

Desmond looked at Disha, who blushed a little as Ajith smiled at him as they both sat down.

Madhuri: So where did you live before?

Desmond: I was from iowa actually, Before I moved in here with my Mom and sister.

Ajith: Acha, Why did you leave Iowa?

Desmond: Oh. . There were just some problems only, so we just wanted a fresh new start.

Madhuri: I see, I hope everything is going well for you now.

Desmond: Everything is okay, Thank you for asking.

Desmond smiled at Madhuri and Ajith as Disha had a smile on her face, He was really respectful to her parents as Ajith said something.

Ajith: You know, You are more kind and respectful compared to that one guy Disha brought over once.

Madhuri: Ajith, Disha yahaan hai (Disha is here. )

Disha: *Frowns* Koi baat nahi, Ma. (Its no problem mom)

Ajith: Main bhool gaya, mujhe maaf karo disha ( I forgot, I'm sorry Disha)

Disha smiled at her and said it was no problem, He did look angry, which he probably knew about Finn and probably despises him.

They continued talking to each other while Ajith loved to crack more jokes, which made everyone laugh as Desmond even opened up a little about his father's death. Madhuri, Disha and Ajith felt really sad for Desmond and hoped everything would be okay.

Sometimes Madhuri would start teasing Desmond to get a girlfriend which made him laugh, He already felt like Madhuri and Ajith were like his parents. Maybe if everything was right, He could have been happier with his parents just like right now.

Disha and Madhuri decided to get some tea for Desmond and Ajith as  Both men were talking to each other, and Desmond himself enjoyed talking to him before he decided to help Disha and his mother in the kitchen.

Madhuri and Ajith really loved Desmond's kindness, especially to their daughter as well. And Disha looked even more happy being with Desmond than she was with Finn.

About two hours passed, and Desmond decided to take his leave as He said goodbye to her parents.

Desmond was going to leave until someone grabbed his hand as He turned around and saw Disha.

Disha: Hey Desmond, Thank you so much for coming over.

She said it with honesty as Desmond felt his heart beat from her touch as Desmond held her hand tightly and smiled at her.

Desmond: I really appreciate that you called me here. I would love to come back here again.

Disha had a smile but also knew how Desmond was feeling since he had never had this kind of family time with his parents since his father passed away.

Disha pulled him for a hug as Desmond was shocked as Disha continued hugging him before she broke the hug and smiled at him.

Disha: Take care of yourself, Desmond, See you later.

Desmond was looking at her as Disha fixed her saree and smiled at him as Crowe nodded and smiled before leaving as Disha was watching him before she closed the door.

Desmond got on his bike as He was thinking about the fun moments he had with her parents and was thinking about the hug Disha gave him as He rided away.
