-Picking up right where Chapter 1 left off-

You and Sting slowly started to stop laughing and he looked into you (e/c) eyes.

"Um, I guess i should get going.." you wanted him to stay with you but you didn't know what to say.

"Oh, are you going back to your room?" his voice had a hint of disappointment in it.

"Well no, I was just talking a walk actually."

you said as you crossed your arm over to hold on to your other arm. (i really don't know how to describe that pose Sweating a little... )

"Then let me walk with you. I got nothing to do really." He motioned for Lector to follow.

"So, tell me. What's Sabertooth like?" Before Fairy Tail, you've never actually known what a guild was like so you were curious if other guilds were like yours.

"Oh, it's..it's great. We're the strongest guild in Fiore." He stretched his arms to the sky and interlocked his fingers behind his head leaning his head back.

"And Sting is the strongest dragon slayer there is." Lector said pretentiously.

"Yeah, believe what you what. But, what is your guild like? Not your strength but like the atmosphere at your guild."

"Who cares about that? We live in nice luxury." You shook her head disappointed.

"Okay. Then tell-" you stopped walking when you saw a taiyaki stand. Sting noticed you stopped and turned towards what you were looking at.

"Are you hungry?" he asked.

"I'm always hungry." you walked to the stall practically drooling.

"Sting, Lector, do you want one?" The two males nodded a little surprised by your sudden craving.

"Three please." you said as you pulled your wallet from your back pocket when Sting lightly pushed your hand back down.

"I got it." He handed the stall owner the money.

"Thank-you." you accepted the taiyaki and happily ate it.

The three of you continued walking around town just talking about whatever came to mind. He was arrogant but he made sure to be polite to you. It was starting to get dark and you needed to get back to your room.

"I'll walk you back."

"No it's fine. I know you have to be getting back soon too. I'll be fine."

"No. I'll walk you back. A pretty girl like you at this hour is dangerous." You couldn't stop your face from turning pink and you avoided looking into his blue (black if you prefer the manga) eyes.

The sky grew darker and the moon started to creep its way into the sky. You and Sting were laughing when two drunk men started stumbling towards you.

"Heeeyyy thherre young lady. Why don't you ditch this ugly half shirt punk and come with us?" the one with darker hair and an unbuttoned shirt said.

"No thanks."

You tried to drag Sting away but the one with short silver hair grabbed your wrist and pulled you closer.

You could tell Sting's anger building up and just as he was about to punch him, you swiftly flipped the guy over. You picked him up and threw him at the other guy and they both were knocked back slamming into a wall.

You froze them so they wouldn't move. You re-quipped a katana in your hand and ran towards them. Movements too fast to keep up with you then stood next to them and sheathed your sword.

The ice shattered and their clothes fell to the ground in shreds and they ran covering their areas shrieking. Your sword disappeared and turned back to Sting who was laughing.

"I told you I didn't need to to walk me back." You winked and joined him again.

It wasn't long before the three of you reached the door of your inn.

"Well, this is it," you sighed.

"Yeah. Maybe we should do this again some time (y/n)." Sting said nervously.

"I'd like that." you smiled and there was a brief moment of silence.

Suddenly, you quickly kissed his cheek and ran inside saying goodbye. Sting stood outside shocked and his cheeks tinted pink.

"What just happened?" the both of you thought.

~The next day during the Games~

You were completely enthralled by Erza during Pandemonium. Overwhelmed with a mixture of emotions you started to cry. The Queen of fairies Titania, the name suited her well. Her wings may have been stripped but she flew to the heavens to challenge the gods that day. When Erza finally stood victorious among the rubble, you looked in Sting's direction to see he was equally captivated.

First Erza, then Cana, then Laxus and lastly Wendy. Today Fairy Tail proved to everyone just how powerful we are and that we never give up. What you give to know what everyone in the stands were thinking right now.

After the games you sat on the bench hoping Sting would come. It's not like we established actually meeting here today, so he might not even come. Then there was also the thing with Natsu yesterday, Sabertooth's probably in intense training mode right now.. You started to get discouraged when a certain Exceed ran up to you.

"Lector!" you said then you looked up to see Sting walking toward you.

"For a minute there I thought you wouldn't come."

"I might have sneaked away." He gave a goofy smile that hit you hard like it would a fangirl (Wink/Razz).

"I'm kind of hungry. Wanna get some food?"
"
I never turn down food."

you stood up and the both of you started walking together with Lector leading.
