•Your POV•

"URGH!" I groan as I just got my back hit onto a rock!

"Focus (y/n), you must know how to fully control your powers." Said Aphmau.

"If it weren't for my relic to have a stupid crack! I would have controlled my powers very easily!" I said as I got up.

"Well now it wouldn't be easy. Especially since she's back!"

"I can't believe it! For three years she just.....just! GRRRUHH!" I swing a dagger into a tree. It was really deep.

"Whoah, whoah! What's going on?" Laurance ask as he and Garroth came to the open.

"We're training, but (y/n) has lost control." Aphmau explained.

"I'm sorry, I just......*Sighs* to know that she's back, I don't know if I could ever control myself. My anger keeps rising....." I felt Laurance wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I lookup to him with a reassuring smile.

"We understand that you may not know how to control yourself. So am I, I am a shadow knight and I could tell you that being one means your whole life in control of your feelings. Don't beat up yourself down and give up, we don't want that." Laurance pull my chin up with a finger and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

I giggled. "Thanks, I appreciate on you guys caring."

"Now that's over, let's practice some more." Said Aphmau.

Aphmau and I were at opposite sides. She had her white glowing wings out and I was in my fire armor.
Aph's hands were glowing white while mine were on fire.

Garroth and Laurance are going to watch us and judge us. Garroth then exclaim "3.....2.....1 GO!"

Me and Aph ran into each other. I bring in a shield as Aphmau shot in a light beam. I had my change to shot Aph with a fire ball, but she dodge it.

Man I'm losing!

Before Aphmau ran up to me, time has stopped, everything went in slow motion. I screamed in pain as Lerain takes over me.

"So weak, can't even keep yourself strong. For all of these years I think the time is right for me to take over." She said as she fully took over me.

•Lerain's POV•

As Aphmau came over to me I teleport away, which I ended up behind her and I shot a fire beam at her. She fell down and look back at me. Well everyone looked at me. I smirked evilly and had my hands ready for an attack.

Aphmau flew towards me and shot a beam at me, but I also shot one at the same time. There was now our beams colliding together, but I pushed mine even more towards Aphmau and it hit her right towards a rock.

She screamed in pain, it's just music in my ears. Little Laurance and Garroth ran over to Aphmau. Well time to go.

•Your POV•

Lerain gave me back my form and I collapsed on the ground. I feel exhausted, what's even worse is to see Lerain hurting my friend. I feel myself aching. I got myself to sit down and I look at my relic. The crack has gone bigger.

"(Y/n)!" I look up and saw Garroth carrying Aph and Laurance looking down at me in disappointment. Aph seems had blacked out.

"What was that?!" Garroth exclaim in a tone of anger.

"P-please believe me when I say this......L-Lerain! She took over me! I can't do anything! She made me weak and now my relic has gone even worse!"

They look down at my relic to see the crack being bigger. They both gasp. For some reason I started to cry. The feeling that I had taunting me when I was younger. Fear!

"I-I'm scared.......scared of she's going to take me over......s-scared she's gonna hurt you guys......scared that she'll ruin my life! I'm scared that all the bad things she can do is all my.............fault!" I covered my face with my hands and starts crying.

I felt Laurance hugging my side, shushing me softly. "(Y/n)......shhhh it's ok, all you need is a little control......we won't let her control you...." He then grab my chin to make me face him. "You are much stronger than her, I know that from the past years......I know you cannot give yourself down, you are someone who is better than that. Don't let her words get to you....."

I didn't know what to say. I was speechless and I just smashed my lips onto his. Laurance was startled first, but then kissed me back. He wrapped his arms around my waist and he pulled away.

"Thank you Laurance....."

"Anything for you sweetie."

"Ok ew! Stop, you guys are making me sick!" Said Garroth.

"Puh-lease! You and my sister has been calling each other's sick lovey Dovey names for these whole years."

"Point taken, but come on. We have to get back Aph back."

Laurance helped me back onto my feet and we started walking home. Luna spotted us and constantly asking us questions.

"Are you guys ok?! A few minutes ago I just felt something dark and I knew something is going on!"

"We're fine, it's just Lerain. She got control of me in a moment and hurted Aph." I explained.

"Oh well we have to take her back to her house." We all walk up the path towards Aph's house.

"Mama!" Both Lilith and Aleana exclaim. They both ran to Garroth who was carrying Aphmau. 

"Laurance, (y/n). Can you please take care of Lilith and Aleana, me and Garroth will handle Aphmau." Luna ask us.

"Yeah sure." I said.

Garroth and Luna went upstairs with Aphmau. I crouch down to the little ones to see them crying.

"Oh, come here you two...." I said softly as I open my arms for them to hug me. They do came to hug me and cry on my shoulders.

I rub their backs and shush them softly to make them calm down. Now I was sitting on the floor with Laurance staring at me as I was calming down the kids. I can see him smiling warmly.

"Hey how about a hug for your uncle Laurance." Said Laurance as he opens his arms.

"No!" The two exclaim. "(Y/n)." Said Aleana as she hug me tightly.

"Face it Laurance, kids love me more~" I smirked and he gave me his grumpy face.

"But I want to join the hug!" He came over and hug us all. At the end the girls were already calm down and we start playing tag.

It was fun to play with the girls with Laurance, I could imagine my life with Laurance and having kids.
