•Your POV•

We run around the capital to see if there's anyone in danger. No one. Me and Laurance ended up at the market place until I see something heading towards us. An arrow.

"Laurance!" I pushed him away and had the arrow hit me in the chest. A scream of pain went out of me.

"(Y/n)!" I heard Laurance cried. He went by my side and held me close. I was numb, one movement I do will have a wave of pain going through my body. My vision gets blurry by the minute. I'm getting loss of blood, everything is getting dizzy............

•Laurance's POV•

She blacked out. She blacked out! Or even worse! DEAD! I quickly pull out the arrow and throw it somewhere. I carry (y/n) and run towards the portal. I had Lucinda and Travis taking care of the people. I run in the portal and ended up back at Phoenix Drop.

I run towards Aphmau's house and barged in. Aphmau saw me then looks down to see (y/n)'s body.

"Take her down to the basement." I ran downstairs and placed (y/n) in an empty bed.

Aphmau followed along.

"What are we going to do?!"

"Stay calm is one. Second, we need to fix---wait what is that?" Aphmau ask as she pointed towards an orange glow coming from (y/n)'s wound.

This might be gross, but I need to pull it out. I grab whatever it is and pull it out. It's a pendant? Could it be a relic? The fire relic? I look back at (y/n) and saw her wound all healed up. It's like nothing has happened to her. She's breathing normally.

"Maybe she's asleep. She should let her rest." Said Aphmau looking more confused and surprise as I do.

I nod in agreement. The relic I have in my hand was glowing orange. It's an orange gem stone which is a shape of fire. It has a ruby stone in the middle and have a silver outline on the relic. It's beautiful, but this is the source of (y/n)'s magic.

"Aph, what are we going to do with the relic."

"Hmm the source of (y/n)'s powers are in there, so if (y/n) has the relic with her she can be her usual self again."

"Ok but how?"

"Hmmm, oh give the relic."

I hand her the relic and Aphmau went to a kitchen drawer finding something. She took out a long small silver chain. She clips it onto the relic and holds it like a necklace. The relic isn't to big, but a perfect size for a necklace.

"(Y/n) can wear this wherever she goes. I hope her powers still works once she wears this." Aphmau than tossed the relic to me.

I nodded and walk downstairs. I walk towards the room that (y/n) is in and I saw her. She was awake, but her skin, her eyes, her hair, it doesn't have the bright color as they use to have.

"L-Laurance......what's happening to me?!" She ask as she came towards me.

"I-I don't know!" Then something popped on my mind. I took out the relic.

"T-that's my relic.....H-how?!"

"I'll explain later. Just wear this!"

She took the relic from me and quickly wore it. She's now back to normal. She sighed in relief and hugged me. I hear her crying, so I hug back and rub circles around her back.

"Shhh it's ok, you're safe...." I said softly.

"I-I thought......I was about to die......" She said in between sobs.

"Just don't worry......I got you......"

We stayed like this for a while now. It was calm and peaceful. (Y/n) pulled away once she was all calmed down. She look down at her relic. She looks at every detail it has.

"How did you get this?" She asks.

"Well, I may or may not pulled it right out of you." She looked at me in wide eyes like I killed someone or something. "That may come out wrong......"

•Your POV•

"Y-you pulled this relic or of me?!"

"Well yes, but when I pulled out the relic your wound was all healed."

"But that doesn't explain why you have to pull out my relic out of my chest with your bare hands."

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to save you."

"I know and I understand. I forgive you." I say as I peck his cheeks.

"Hey! A hero needs something more than that!" Laurance smirk as he tap his lips.

I rolled my eyes and pulled Laurance to a passionate kiss. Laurance than pushed me towards a wall as we lick lock. I brought my hands raking his soft hair.

Laurance wrapped his arms around my waist, but also squeezing my butt. I gasp and Laurance darted his tongue into my mouth. Our tongues are tangled together. Until someone had to knock. Laurance pulled away, leaving a thin strip of saliva from our lips. I quickly wiped it away and Laurance opened the door.

"Hey Laurance, just want to check in if my sister is alright. I've heard everything!" It was only Luna.

"Oh yeah, she's fine. Don't worry about her."

"Thanks."

She then left, not knowing that I was here. Laurance then closed the door and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Shall we continue?" He smirked.

"*Giggles* Laurance you got your prize for saving me. I think a full make out session is enough." I said as I kiss his nose and wrap my arms around his neck.

He pouted. "So no more kisses for me......???"

"I'm not saying you wouldn't get kisses from me. I'm just saying we should take a break."

"Fine......"

"Hehe ok, so what do you want to do?"

"How about go home?"

"Sounds good."

We walk upstairs and towards our house hand in hand. It was quite cold outside so we were now speeding up our pace.

"Is it winter already?" I ask as we start running.

"I-i think so......"

We run in the house and I grab some blankets from the cupboards. I gave one to Laurance and I wrap myself with mine. It's very cold.

"B-babe.....c-c-can you....?" He said as he chatter his teeth. He looks towards the fire place that we had.

I nodded and blow some fire into it. Laurance sat down in front of the fire while I went to make some hot chocolate. I came back with two cups of warm hot chocolate and sat down with Laurance.

I gave him his cup and he drink a chug of it.

"Wow these are good."

"Really?"

"Yeah, who knew you can make the best hot coco."

I lean my head on his shoulder and he kissed the top of my head. "I love you." I said.

"I love you too babe."
