You are getting ready for the press conference

"are you sure you want to do this" Jay asks you

"yes because I want to catch the son of a bitch that killed my family" you reply with a snarl

"remember if you feel overwhelmed Just come back and give me a hug" Jay says

"I know" you say as you add the final bit of makeup

Two minutes later you are in a room full of journalists and news cameras

"the reason why I have called this press conference is because we need your help catching a serial killer by the name of Tommy Mason. I wish to inform the public that is you see him you are advised to stay well away" you say noticing the fact that your hand is trembling

"what should we do if we do see him" one of the journalists asks

"you should call the tip line and tell the person where and when you saw him" you reply

"how many people has this man killed" another journalist asks

"fifteen" you reply with a shaky voice because your family is one of those fifteen killed

"is there a reward" a journalist asks with a hint of lust

"it depends on how desperate we get" you say

"anyone else"

"yes if the latest case goes cold what would you do" a female journalist asks

"I don't know" you reply but then you are suddenly overwhelmed by talking about the man that killed your family

"that's all I have time for you" you leave the room.

A moment later and you have found Jay

"Jay I think I need that hug" you say as burst in to tears

"ok come here" he says as he embraces you

"I'm sorry it's just I don't like talking about my family as statistics" you say

"it's ok you know what we will grab some equipment and you can go home and get some rest" he says

"ok" you say knowing Jay and the rest of the intelligence unit will protect you
