I've noticed that I've been tagged a lot.. So I'll do tags soon but I wanna write 1 or 2 rants before doing so.

Look, I don't "hate" my parents, but we can all agree that parents can be extremely weird and/or annoying sometimes!

Here's a list of 10 things they do that are annoying (to most of us).

1. Calling your name without telling you why

Happens to 80% of us

I freaking hate that. Why can't you tell me the reason?? Are we eating? Do you want me to do the dishes? Tell me! :(

2. Only care about your failures

Happens to 69% of us

For example, if in school I get 90% on the first test, 87% on the second one and 62% on the third one, they're FUCKING mad! Like, I got good grades on the two first tests, can't you show some happiness.

3. Get mad over nothing important

Happens to 71% of us

Look...

I don't do drugs
I don't drink
I'm not in a gang
I got (kinda) good grades
I'm a super cool child to have! (Am I?)

But if I leave an empty glass on the table or something like that, It's the end of the world! What???  Why?!

4. Keeps you from having a private life

Happens to 45% of us

Mom : Can I see your phone

Me : Sure

Me : *Brings phone slowly and deletes/hides everything on it*

Why must parents check? Can't we have a freaking private life?? I don't wanna give you my passwords and I don't want you looking at all my conversations!

5. Leave your door open

Happens to 95% of us

I think (almost) everyone can relate to this. When your mom comes in your room to tell you something and leaves the door open. Hey! There's a reason it was closed in the first place, okay?

6. Saying "you're too young"

Happens to 70% of us

When they say things like :

"Nevermind, you're too young to understand"

*mom finds pics of girls/boys in underwear in your phone*
"Come on Micheal you're only 14, you're too young"

There's more, but you get it. Right?

7. Thinking you're lying even when you tell the truth

Happens to 74% of us

I have so many examples for this, But I think you do too.

8. Doesn't let you compare yourself to other kids but compares you with others themselves

Happens to 82% of us

Me : Can I have this game?

Dad : No.

Me : But everyone has it!

Dad : I don't care about others.

Later...

Dad : Why are you still playing video games? It's midnight! Can't you be more like your cousin John?

Me : *dies*

It's super annoying!

9. Saying "When I was your age"

Happens to 87% of us

"When I was your age I didn't talk back to my parents or I would get hit"

"When I was your age I had no videogames"

I can understand that it was different before, but they need to understand that too....

10. Not telling you what's for dinner

Happens to 94% of us

This is not extremely annoying. I'm just putting it in the list since I'm out of ideas. In fact I don't care that much, but still, here's what I mean :

Me : What's for dinner?

"food"

...
.......
..........

FOOD?!?!?!
I wanna know what we're eating

Damn it :'(
