Sunlight is streaming through my window

And onto my body

Into my veins

Into my broken soul

The warm sunlight put the fragmented pieces of my soul back together

I ran outside enjoying the warm breeze

Into the meadow I run, brushing the tips of the emerald green grass with my hands

I can feel it now

I can feel the sunlight on my back

I can feel my heart beating faster

I can feel blood rushing through my body

I've never felt this way before

I look into the sun, but it doesn't hurt my eyes

It makes me feel more alive
