Day 7: Do you read? What are your favourite books?

Yes, I do read, and I don't really get the question "what are your favorite books" either because anyone who reads because they truly love it and not solely for entertainment knows that there is such a thing as terribly written books that are still lovable and beautifully written books that are completely unenjoyable. However, the best books are the ones that use the English language (or whatever language they're written in) in all its beauty and that present flawed, relatable characters that grow and develop throughout as both the plot and story progress. Harry Potter is a wonder of a series for not only its excellent plot but also its well-developed characters, beautiful story, interpretive message, and eerie consistency. The same can be said of The Chronicles of Narnia and Till We Have Faces, as well as Randy Alcorn's Safely Home. As an honorable mention, I think the only movie to ever accomplish a level of consistency and completeness parallel to that of a book is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The MCU has done a fair job as well, although lately the quality of their story and plot/character consistency has gone down.
