I don't want a date because I hoard my time in solitude and also because I have no clue what would be a fun date. At all.

Maybe I do now.

There is a two-year-old I keep every single day. She is prone to screaming meltdowns and likes to be naked. That has nothing to do with this story. I'm just letting you get to know her. One day we went to the park. It was cool, windy, and sunshiny. We sat on a bench together facing the water. She ate fruit snacks while I ate gummy worms. We watched the geese without saying anything.

It was an unspeakably marvelous passage of time.
