"I knew you two would make up sooner or later," Axel's voice makes us pull away. "But could you two have not done it in the rain?"

"It was good since I needed to cross that off my list," I smile as we walked the school. I dried off when my brother tossed me a spare towel while Blaze went straight inside, probably to take a shower.

"So, did you plan this?" I asked Axel once Blaze was out of earshot. 

"He needed an excuse to talk to you anyways, I don't see what the problem is," he shrugs. 

After Blaze came back, we went to buy the groceries and ate lunch outside. 

"Axel, is it okay if I took Cat on a date tomorrow?"

"Sure, I'll be out tomorrow anyways," he shrugs. 

"Why don't I get a say in this?" I look at them both in disbelief. 

"Because we know you're going to say anyways," Blaze laughs.

Today was the date, well, I still had to go shop for an outfit with Anais for tonight. 

"Why did I agree to this?" I groaned while she pushes me into the fitting room with three more dresses. 

"Because you need to look fabulous for that damn date," she argues. 

"I'm sure he wouldn't care," I whine, still trying the dresses on. 

"Wouldn't you want to look good for him then? This is your first date." 

I stayed silent and stepped out of the room after trying the dresses on. We went to the food court to eat and rest, but we passed by a store that had a dress that caught my attention. It was a maroon fallback ad off-shoulder dress. 

I pull Anais in and try the dress on. 

"Finally!" she shouts, getting the attention of everyone in the store. I bought the dress and stopped Anais from buying it for me. 

We got home after eating and she fixed my hair in a braid that looks like a crown from behind while I applied light make-up on. 

I wore my velvet heels along with the dress. 

Don't laugh at me when I say I twirled. Yes, I twirled. 

I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. The doorbell rings and I made my way downstairs. 

"Are you ready, Ca--Oh, fuck," I heard Blaze cuss when he met my gaze. His eyes skimmed up and down my body. I went down and lightly slapped his arm to make him stop. 

"Stop staring," I scold. 

"I couldn't help it, a beautiful creature was standing in front of me," he smirks. 

"Shut up," I blush. He makes me look up at him and he kisses me. 

We pull away after someone clears their throat. 

"I think you have a date to get to," my dad said while fixing his tie. 

"Night shift, Sir?" Blaze asks. 

"Yes, now go take care of my daughter," he smiles before we leave the house.

We were eating in "Casa' Amor", a five-star restaurant. I offered to split the bill but he insisted paying since he wanted to be a gentleman. We ordered carbonara and mango smoothie for each of us. 

We talked about a lot and it was as if we never actually know so much about each other.

"What is your most embarrassing story?" I asked him. 

"I peed myself in a horror house when I was in 5th grade, what about you?" he laughs. 

"I can't tell you that," I looked away. 

"Don't you trust me, princess?" he asked and I sighed. 

"The first time I got my period, which was in middle school, we were swimming and well," I paused and looked away in embarrassment. 

"It's normal, I get that," Blaze smiles, holding my hand. 

We continued on with the rest of the night and soon enough we were back in the field where we named a star. He played "Marry me" by Jason Derulo and then walked to me,

I put my hands around his neck and rest my head on his chest while his hands were on my waist. 

"Did I tell you that you look beautiful?" he smiles. 

"Yeah, so many times already," I laugh. 

"Many isn't enough, I just ran out words to describe how beautiful you are," he smirks. 

"And words aren't enough to describe how much I love you," I smirk back. 

"Actions can prove it," he kisses me again but this time, I could feel him pouring his passion into it. I didn't know what true love felt like, but I know it should be like this. 

I felt light headed after we pull away. His smile turns into a frown. 

"Are you okay?" he asks. Before I could answer, I blacked out.

Blaze's POV

"Cat! Cat! Please, wake up," I plead. I carry her back to the car and placed her in the backseat and drove off to the nearest hospital. I had called Axel and waited for the doctor's news. 

"Blaze, what happened?" Axel calls out from afar, running to me. 

"I-I don't know, she just fainted," I explained, my voice trembling. 

"I called dad, he's on his way. Any news from the doctor?" he asks.

"Not yet--" I was cut off when the doctor left the room. I immediately approached him and asked. 

"Please tell me she's okay," I plead, trying to look inside. 

"I'm sorry, there's nothing more we could do," the doctor apologized. I felt my heart break, and I looked away wanting to punch something. I know walking away in anger wouldn't be the best thing to do. 

"Can I see her?" I asked and the doctor nods, talking to Axel right after. I went inside and rushed to her side. "Wake up, please.." I cry, holding her hand. 

Her red dress was replaced by the white garment of the hospital and a tube was placed on her nose. Even in this condition, how do you stay beautiful? I felt her hand squeeze mine and I met  her gaze, she was smiling. 

"I can't leave without saying goodbye," she laughs lightly. 

"You can't leave, please. Didn't I make you happy?" I ask. 

"You did, but I knew this was the fate for me. Thank you for making me feel this way."

"I'll make sure you feel this way everyday. Please, don't leave me, I love you," I plead, crying.

"Don't cry, it's making it harder for me to do this," I see a tear slip from her eyes while she reached for my cheek. 

"Then don't do this"

"I can't stop it from happening, I'm sorry, just please, remember that I love you, no matter what," she smiles. 

We shared one last kiss before I heard the heart monitor flat line. I looked at he frantically and cried even more. 

"No, no, no. Please, stay with me, Cat," I said and called for the doctors. They rushed into her aid and tried the best the could.
