Ren threw the ball in the air, towards Kageyama.

The so called genius setter tossed the ball up, arching downwards a bit towards her.

It was a bit slow, but predicting Kageyama and Ren had wanted the opponents to know when the ball would come, it was going according to plan. As Ren jumped up, so did the first year ginger, and the blonde. She spiked it downwards, only to have her eyes widened with awe. Her skills were rusted, and she probably didn't do as great as she had hoped... but, Hinata didn't block it. In fact, it didn't go close to returning to Kageyama's side of the net.

Only, Hinata's fingers touched the ball, putting it back in play. "H-Hinata-san can jump that high?" Ren stood shocked, after realizing Kageyama's smirk. "That's... Amazing..." She politely complimented, causing Hinata to get fired up.

"I will become Ace!" He grinned greatly, causing Asahi to flinch. "Sorry, but I don't think elementary students like you can become ace," Tsukishima grinned. "Y-you' looking for a fight, bastard?!" Hinata shouted, curling his hands into fists.

"I wouldn't succumb to such a low level." Ren put her hand on the back of her neck. "Guys, guys. We need to practice..." Hinata looked at her, and nodded, stopping his argument with the tall figure. Tsukishima then let out the usual "tch," and went back to his blocking position.

"O-one more time!" Yamaguchi yelled, handing the ball back to their setter. After a while of watching the first years play, the third years decided to discuss their behavior. "Yamaguchi's gotten better at receiving." Nishinoya nodded at the platinum blonde, who looked at Asahi.

"But I think it's our decoy we need to worry about. Asahi, you better step up your game before Hinata takes your title." The libero laughed, making Asahi nervously nod. "But still... Her talents aren't superior in any way... Yoshida's not bad...-"

"She's just... decent..." Tanaka stated, adding to the captain's sentence. "In other words, this may be a match we have to worry about." Sugawara sighed, brightening the mood. "I agree." Daichi breathed, before placing his hand on his chin.

"Guys, Daichi said he'd treat us to pork buns!" Sugawara announced, bringing glee to Kageyama's face. Tanaka and Nishinoya shouted, putting their hands in air, only to have Hinata mimic their moves. Ren started to pack her things, and took a deep breath.

That was fun...

Wait... I can't think that way.

She thought, firming her bag in place, overtop of her coat and started walking with the third years. "Let's go guys!" Tanaka grinned widely, pointing his thumb towards himself. "Follow your senpai's!" Hinata got fired up, yelling "osu!"

Tsukishima sighed, as well as letting Yamaguchi notice something was up, "what's wrong, Tsukki?" He asked, walking farther ahead of his tall friend. "Hm? Oh, it's nothing." Tsukishima uttered, a little distracted than before.

This had worried Yamaguchi, for his best friend had rarely ever been in this state.

Tsukki seems annoyed...

Tsukishima then put on his headphones, but put the left headphone on his right ear and the right headphone on the left ear. The blonde, noticed this almost immediately, and switched it back into the proper positions.

Tsukki's definitely not okay.

The third year's barely talked to each other, most probably due to fatigue. Kageyama was too caught up in his excitement for the pork buns, which had kind of freaked Hinata out a little too much. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi barely talked, and since Tsukishima had been feeling off, his friend decided not to bring anything up. Hinata hopped over to the pair of giants, only to be thrown a cold reply by the tallest of their team. "Could we help you?"

The short ginger brushed it aside, and stood next to Yamaguchi, indication to wanting to speak to him. Tsukishima took notice, and walked ahead, for he had no interest in listening to what the shrimp had to say. Hinata then nudged his arm into Yamaguchi's shoulder, grinning. "Yamaguchi?" The freckled first year turned to his right side, to view the ginger.

"Are you and Yoshida-kun dating?" Yamaguchi's face felt hot, turned a mad red, and it took a while to process the question.

Thank god Tsukki and Yoshida-san didn't hear that.

He breathed, and before he could deny this theory in anyway, Nishinoya and Tanaka walked towards him. "You and Yoshida are dating?!" Tanaka started, screaming out loud. "I didn't think you had it in you!" Nishinoya added, being louder than usual.

Ren turned around, due to hearing something towards the lines of dating. Sugawara immediately took notice, and tried to distract her. "Y-Yoshida-san? What position do you play?" He commenced the distraction. Ren raised her eyebrow, "middle blocker and wing spiker...-"

"IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!" Ren overheard this, and looked back towards the noise. "I-I-I'm sure it was nothing!" Sugawara stalled, since he knew that Ren's bashfulness could lead to a disaster.

Goodness, could you guys be any louder?!

"Tsukishima, are Yoshida-kun and Yamaguchi dating?" Hinata questioned, making the blonde middle blocker grin and snicker. "Who knows?"

"Tsukki!" Yamaguchi called, only to be patted on the back by the two second years. "You don't need to be shy, Yamaguchi." Sugawara sighed, knowing that Daichi hadn't been listening, due to the fact that he was too caught up in planning with Asahi. As well as Sugawara, but he had to tend to some first years.

Ren started to walk ahead, with her face dusted red. And Sugawara knew that Ren had probably heard the conversation earlier on. "M-me and Yamaguchi-san aren't like that..."

"Oh? What was that Yoshida-kun? Would you mind speaking a bit louder, your voice is too low," Tsukishima teased, as Ren huffed in frustration."THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM. HOW DID YAMAGUCHI GET A GIRLFRIEND BEFORE ME?" Tanaka yelled, devastated. "Daichi!" Sugawara called from behind captain.

The platinum blonde gestured towards the group, causing Daichi to breathe.

They can never get along, can they?

"Oi!" Everyone stopped what they were doing as soon as they had heard their captain call. "Behave yourselves; otherwise I'm feeding your pork buns to Kageyama!" The entire group settled down, knowing what was at stake for them. Nishinoya and Tanaka gasped, and immediately stopped the talking with Yamaguchi.

The freckled first year breathed, calming down. Yamaguchi then sighed, facing Hinata and the others. "Yoshida-kun and I are just friends." Ren's eyes widened at this, and then she breathed, and smiled widely to herself. Sugawara took notice of this, and caught up to the female.

That probably meant something important to her.

Hinata, on the other hand, quietly whispered to the first year. "I still don't believe you." Before smiling widely, and heading off. Kageyama walked off with dread, slowing down with each step he took.

They should've kept talking.

Sugawara handed Ren her pork bun gently. "N-no thank you..." Ren rejected the offer, but took it anyway. Ren knew exactly what they'd be saying.

"Sugawara-san, didn't you know? Yoshida-kun's on a diet."

It confused the third year setter, but he went along with it anyways. The female first year caught up, to the male who had just finished his. "K-Kageyama..? Ren ran towards him, handing him her pork bun. "Y-you can have this..."

Kageyama's eyes gleamed, as he slowly brought up his arms to inquire the pork bun, but lowered them back down to his sides. "I-I... Can't accept this..." The team's setter mumbled, each word filled with regret. "Why not? I thought you liked pork buns." Hinata announced, hopping over and fitting himself into their conversation. "Th-that's not the reason..." He eyed down the blonde in the back.

"What's wrong? It's natural for a king to take from commoners like us." Tsukishima snickered, with the usual, "nice Tsukki," from his friend. "Don't call me that!" Kageyama shouted, staring intently at the tall figure. "Sorry, sorry. I guess angering the king, may give me some trouble." Ren sighed, watching as this argument unfolded.

Solving one problem, leads to the next-

"OI- ARE YOU EATING MY PORK BUN?!" Kageyama yelled, watching Hinata eat the last of Ren's pork bun. "You said you didn't want it, and I couldn't let it go to waste-" Kageyama disrupted the ginger, by grabbing his collar and shaking him back and forth. "I never said I didn't want it, dumbass Hinata!"

"K-Kageyama, I'll puke!" Tsukishima was about to walk away out of disinterest, before Hinata said something that had caught his attention. "Coming to think of it, Yoshida-san? Why'd you call Kageyama, Kageyama-sama, earlier?" The short male asked, forcing the raven haired male into the question, and letting go of him. Ren shifted in place, shocked.

Shouldn't they know?

"B-because... Kageyama's a king, right?" The atmosphere around the girl went quiet; all but for two first years in the back. Sugawara waved his hands frantically at her, crossing them."Oi," Ren turned to face Kageyama, shocked. "Don't you dare call me that."

She hadn't known what she had done wrong but looked down. "Man, where on earth did you hear this?" Tanaka sighed, placing his hand on his neck. Ren looked up and at the blonde first year, which had seemed to be enjoying all this.

"Tsu-Tsukishima-kun..." She stuttered shyly, playing with her fingers. "Oi, What information are you feeding her?!" Kageyama glared daggers angrily at Tsukishima, only to be returned a snicker. "The truth."
