If we get to heaven

If we ever get to heaven
Take your measuring tape
You'll need to check for curtains
Be sure the decor's right.

You'll need a perfect pillow
On which to rest your head
If it doesn't match the duvet
You won't find perfect rest.

Heavenly choirs won't lull you
You won't bask in their sound
There'll be a harp that isn't right
There won't be sound surround.

You'll make a mental snag list
Of things you'll say to God
He'll have to do a better job
Cos some things just aren't right.

You ought to be so grateful
To find eternal rest
But will be too busy fussing
To know that you are blessed.
