When did words like 'sin', 'temptation' and 'wickedness' become associated with food rather than wrongdoing?

Easter's coming, we're in Lent.
Chocolate is a dreadful sin
Time for sinners to repent.

New commandment we've been sent,
Stick to diets, don't give in.
Easter's coming, it's still Lent.

Moral judgements we resent.
Food is now the only sin
And all sinners must repent.

To old rules we won't assent,
Calorie counting's more our thing.
Soon be Easter, get through Lent.

Who knew this was what sin meant?

For which eaters must repent?

Food is bad let none dissent.
God forgive and keep us thin.
