It's been 5 months. My stomach has grown so much. Ramin is always smiling when he is around me. It's a little kicker too. I'm always having to run to the bathroom because it kicks my bladder. Today is my doctors appointment to see the gender of the baby and I'm excited. Ramin has the car ready considering its freezing outside. I get my shoes and coat on. He gets me in the car.

At the doctors office, we wait for them to call us back.

"Ms. Boggess?"

I stand and walk to the nurse. Ramin follows me.

"Alright, let's go see this baby of yours." She smiles. I'm nervous about seeing our baby.

"It's alright Sie. I'll be here the entire time." Ramin reassures me. I nod.

"Here we are. I'll be back in just a minute. I need you to lay on the table and lift up your shirt."

I move to the table and get up on it. The nurse shuts the door. I lay down and lift my shirt and hold Ramin's hand.

"Are you guys ready to see the gender?" She asks coming back in.

"We are. I know I'm really excited about it." I tell her.

"Now, the gel will be a little cold at first but it will warm up as we start."

I nod and she puts some on my stomach. She was right. It's freezing. She starts to move around to find the baby.

"There. There is the little tyke." She tells me. I look at the screen to see my baby.

"Ramin....it's our baby." I whisper. He squeezes my hand.

"And the gender?" He asks

"It looks like a girl. The doctor will have to confirm it." She tells him.

"You hear that Sie? A beautiful baby girl." He smiles at me. I'm still looking at our baby.

The nurse walks out to get the doctor. The picture of our baby isn't up there anymore. I look at Ramin. He's smiling wide.

The doctor comes in.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Shots. I'm here to see that baby of yours." He smiles. I take Ramin's hand as Dr. Shots puts more of the gel on my stomach. He finds the baby very quickly.

"There is your baby girl." He smiles.

"It's a girl Ramin...."

"It's to a girl Sie." He replies.

Dr. Shots prints a picture out for us and sets us up to come back in in two weeks. I can't stop looking at my baby girl.
