Venom Heart
Adelene was a woman with rusty brown hair and dull blue eyes. Her makeup was done layer by layer every day, and she spent hours picking out an outfit from her massive closet. In the early morning she would take her limousine to the Beauté store downtown and model for five hours. Elliot had made a mistake by picking her over Chloe because of her looks.
Because in the inside, she was ugly.
Every second of the day. A phone call or text demanding why he hasn't texted back in ten minutes. Asking if he was with another girl. Getting upset when she saw him talking to another woman. Even if it was just his sister.
Chloe had been cold in the beginning. Selfish, bratty, cared too much about herself to think about him. But after being with him for some time, she changed. Her harsh personality softened around Elliot. She lit up when she saw him and remembered all their minor anniversaries. Most of them she made up herself - an anniversary for when they first met, when they first fell in love, their first date, and their first kissed. It was a little over the top,
But he thought it was cute.
And now it was gone, because he ruined it. "Love is important, you know," Chloe had once told him. "Love is all around us and when we don't get affection from others, we feel invisible. That's why it's important to never break a heart." Her words haunted him since he had broken up with her to be with Adelene.
He had heard that she'd finally accomplished becoming a lawyer. He had also heard that she had brought down the cold weather after he had scarred her. At that time, he didn't care. But now he knew what Adelene was like, and now he suddenly wanted to go back in time to be with her again.
But it was too late, she had said when he finally gathered the courage to finally come face to face with her. He could never have her back. Maybe that's why he was so mad. He was mad at himself. He would get back Chloe no matter how much the effort would take. He would get her back.
"What a beautiful yet frustrating story," he heard a voice say in his head. "You will never retrieve the love of your life without me to help you."
"Who are you!" Elliot shouted. "What do you want?"
"I am Hawkmoth, and you are now Venom Heart. I will help you get back your love in exchange for two Miraculous - a set of earrings and a metal ring, do you understand me?"
Elliot did understand this time. He understood every word. "Yes, Hawkmoth. Yes, I do."

"Thank you," Marinette said as she turned the doorknob. "I appreciate your help today very much."
"Oh, no worries," replied Dr. Le Roux. She stood at the entrance with her beat up clipboard held tightly in her arms.
"What were you writing on your paper anyways?" Adrien gave her a questioning look.
"Oh this?" The doctor held up her clipboard proudly, showing off a complex mandala. "Zentangling helps me focus."
The couple gave each other a side glance with a tint of annoyance in their eyes. "Well, thank you," Marinette repeated. They gave each other a light hug and the two left the room.
Suddenly as they rounded the corner to the lobby, an ear-splitting scream was heard and a bellow of anger cracked a window nearby. Marinette yelped. "Tikki!" she shouted. The little kwami came shooting out of her purse and could see that Plagg had come out, too.
"We have to transform," Adrien said, looking around for somewhere to hide. He rushed into the men's bathroom and Marinette locked herself into the janitor's closet. A rush of magic tickled the air and Ladybug and Chat Noir came running out.
"Emma!" Ladybug shrieked. "She's with Alya in the car!"
"She'll be safe," Chat replied, laying a comforting hand in her shoulder. She breathed deeply but her body was still tense with worry.
"Okay," she said. "Let's go."
The duo ran outside and Ladybug spotted Alya huddled in her car with Emma cradled tightly in her arms. She sighed with relief when she noticed that her camera wasn't out.
They found the villain on top of a store roof, a swirl of darkness around him. Surprisingly, he was quite charming for a monster. He had windswept brown hair with a mask made of purple leather. He wore a dark body suit with a visible heart throbbing repeatedly with veins and tendons attaching it to his chest. And wrapped around his wrist like a bracelet was a delicate lilac, slowly withering.
"On his wrist," Chat muttered to his wife, holding his staff in front of him like a shield. Ladybug glanced at the villain warily and her fingers clutched her yo-yo tightly.
The monster only cackled evilly and leaped onto the Eiffel Tower with the bracelet still safely connected to his gloved hand. He scanned the city and smiled smugly when he saw his target. " There you are, Precious," he said. "I found you."
He landed swiftly on the ground and the two heroes followed him closely behind. Ladybug swung her yo-yo at him, but the unknown villain kept on running with his determination.
The duo found themselves standing in front of a grand mansion with gold, intricate designs decorating it. "Isn't this Chloe's home?" Chat asked.
"How am I supposed to know? You slept with her in here," his wife muttered back. She crossed her arms and continued to follow the villain.
"Will you not let go of that? I thought we cleared it out in therapy!"
"We can continue this talk after we've saved Paris."
Suddenly, the monster came back outside with a screaming Chloe held tightly in his hands. "Let me go, you jerk!" she shrieked, trying to free herself. "I made it clear that you can't have me back!" That sentence only seemed to make the villain angrier.
"Let me go, Elliot!" Chloe screamed again. She wriggled and thrashed in his hold but he wouldn't release her. She stopped fighting only once to fix her hair.
"I am not Elliot anymore. I am Venom Heart!" He bellowed.
"Well, whatever you are, let me go!" Chloe's face lit up when she spotted the two heroes standing before her in shock. "Ladybug! Help me!" she yelled, desperately trying to get free.
"Ugh. Never in my world." She began to walk away but Chat grabbed ahold of her arm.
"But this isn't your world. I know you hate Chloe right now, but if you walk away from the problem, you're risking thousands of innocent lives!"
"Fine. But this isn't for you. It's for Paris."
She summoned her Lucky Charm and and a cement wall came erupting from the ground, coming in between Ladybug and Venom Heart. "How is this supposed to help me?" she murmured. Then her eyes laid on Chat's hand, then at the wall, and then at Venom Heart who was starting to get away with Chloe screaming in his grasp.
"Chat, your Cataclysm! Hit it on the wall!" Ladybug instructed. Her partner's hand suddenly burst into a ball of green flames and he held it dangerously in his palm. He leaped up and smacked the wall with his hand and the sturdy cement began crumbling on top of Venom Heart. The villain collapsed under the weight and Chloe ran free from his hand.
Ladybug walked to his giant fingers and snapped the withering lilac off of his wrist. The akuma fluttered out, but she caught it in her yo-yo before it could escape. "No more evil doing for you, little akuma," she said. A purified butterfly flew free from the yo-yo and the heroin brushed her hands off. "Miraculous Ladybug!" Her weapon was thrusted into the air and thousands of little ladybugs came zooming out and repairing damage Venom Heart had created.
Elliot collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily with a bouquet of lilacs clutched in his grasp.
Chat laid a hand on his partner's shoulder. "Nice work, M'lady. Now about that talk-"
"I'm sorry, Adrien, you're right. I should've gotten over it by now. But I haven't. And that's okay because who wouldn't get over something like that so quickly? I've made a mistake too, and that's probably not something you'd forget. But all that matters now is that we're on the same page now, isn't it?"
"Yes - of course, Marinette."
"Good." Then suddenly she pulled him into such a tight embrace that he could barely breathe through her arms. "I love you," she whispered. He felt his suit absorb a wet tear from her cheek.
"I love you too, M'lady," he replied.
It had been so long since she had said that to him.
